He told me he would be my "quarterback" throughout the process but once I left the office, I never heard from him again. No follow-up. No care coordination. Nothing. I paid over $2,000 out of pocket for an epidural injection that provided by him with zero relief. When had a follow up with the PA, the only response I got from his PA was literally: "Sorry." That was the extent of their concern for my ongoing pain and care. Now their billing office is trying to charge me even more money despite the fact that my insurance out-of-pocket maximum has already been met. I've gotten no help resolving this, just more bills and more silence. This practice is disorganized, dismissive, and feels like a cash grab. Avoid them if you actually want competent, coordinated medical care or any follow-through at all.

Dr. Kancherla had performed a prior cortisone injection, and i felt more comfortable with him from this, and from my prior experience at the northwest austin location. However, i was told that he would refuse to see me, as i had asked for a refund at the prior appointment. Dr. Kancherla may have done me a favor, as if he is careless enough to cast aside a patient still technically under his care, i shudder to think what he may forget when it comes to treatment. I should also note that his front desk staff attempted to charge me for a $1100 "balance" upon check in. Only after i insisted that they check did they grudgingly admit that they had confused me with another person.

Rich provided me with several great options for repair, refurbished, or new. All options are reasonable and well thought out. More importantly, Rich gave me his thoughts and recommendations. The service provided was beyond excellent. As well, the price for new hearing aids is by far, significantly more affordable than my prior AuD. I highly recommend Rich and his practice.

I don't want to go down that road, and though I'm still in my 50s, I like to be proactive about my health. First, there is plenty of parking at an easy-to-find building in Lakeway. Golden Ears is a nicely designed office with a soundproof "room." Dr. Penaroza has a great personality; she answered all my questions, and gave me a clear assessment of where I'm missing hearing quality. She showed me my results the same day and provided a fair estimate of when I might expect to purchase hearing aids. I'm not quite there yet, but when I do, I'll be ordering them from Golden Ears.

My husband and I have been paying $149/month each for nearly a year--for facials, red light therapy, B12 shots, and discounts. After a few months away (but still paying), I booked a facial and was shocked when it ended after just 15 minutes. No one told me the service had changed. When I asked, the manager blamed me for not reading an email and called it a "teachable moment"--for me. I come here for self-care, not to be talked to like a child. He said the doctor's "losing money" on memberships and tried to upsell me to $179/month. Instead of honoring what I paid for, he wanted to charge me more. I wonder if he understands how expensive it takes to get one paying customer? Now you're losing two and probably others will read this post.. This wasn't about the aesthetician--she was great. This was about a manager who chose to argue, deflect, squat in my treatment room and lecture instead of making it right. I paid for a membership. What I got was a downgraded service, a lecture, and an upsell. That's not wellness; that's bad business. Do better. Way better.
