Sundays they have build your own bloody bar where you are provided a generous half glass of vodka and ice to start your creation. The only thing I would have liked to see were some pickled mushrooms, but they had a couple kinds of olives, asparagus, okra and pickles so I was happy anyway. Also some horseradish to spice it up. Your mixer was a spicy Clamato and it was delish. Also got a HUGE order of pepper jack cubes and I don't know what kind of magical breading is on them but they stayed warm for a long time , making it so nice to munch on them dipped in ranch. The photo is showing HALF of them gone. I mean WOW !! All in all we will totally be back. Missed breakfast by a few minutes but if it is half as good as it looked cooking in front of us and how it smelled we will be in for a treat. Prices are great as well. Is it a divey bar? Yep. Everyone here was so friendly - and even though this is very much a "local" spot we felt completely welcomed. When they found out that we were from out of town they immediately asked us if we wanted a picture outside with Papa Burger and one of the waitresses enthusiastically led us outside for photos. Just a heads up that it is a cash-only spot, though they do have an ATM on-site if you need it. The service was quick and incredibly polite from start to finish. Food-wise, the burger was fairly plain but was cooked well, and the fries had a great texture and crunch even if they were a bit bland on seasoning. The side salad was essentially just chopped lettuce, but it was noticeably crisp and fresh. Overall, it is a fun, nostalgic pit stop with friendly service if you are looking for a quick bite.

My bro likes the spicy chicken strips and mini beef tacos. The cream cheese poppers are good. I was surprised with the ultimate adult grilled cheese, it's quite good for bar food. They recently added tuna melts to the menu which I was pleased. You can get the tuna melt with pita bread, regular sourdough bread or as a tortilla wrap. It is my new favorite thing on the menu. The bartender who served us on 12/10 was super friendly and made sure my tuna melt order came out the way I requested. I didn't get her name but thank you for being so helpful!

I've never had macaroni salad before, but after having it here, it won't be my last time that's for sure. I'm not a huge tenderloin fan, but I know from many people that the Ottawa tenderloins are top tier. Really neat place inside too! They had ping pong, pool, darts, sand volleyball, you name it! The service is why I took a star off. It was very slow unfortunately yet seemed rushed at the table. It also felt like our food was thrown down in front of us. Side Note- they do not have to-go cups which I have never encountered at a restaurant.

I work near by and frequented them 3-4 times monthly. I truly try my best to support the small business instead of the corporate America. My go to was two dogs and a small cheese fry. I always asked for diced onions on my cheese fry for $5.99 plus tax and then the older lady (The grumpy one) decided to start charging me .80 cents for the onions. Why i asked, since don't when your hot dogs and she said that's what they do! So my small cheese fry with onions is $7.30 with tax. It should be $7.15 with 6.75% tax. So figure that one out? I have never posted on any of these sites. My hope is that the owners would read this and take note. I sadly refuse to go there any more. My $15 lunch purchase 3-4 times a month wont be missed. Apparently there was a race to cut the cucumbers and tomatoes as the slices were all too thick to sit correctly on the bun. They threw in a whopping (2) sport peppers. And worst of all, the hot dog was clearly not a Vienna and instead reminded me of every penis I've seen in every autopsy I've attended (a lot). It was pale, disgusting, and looked like it had been pulled from a bathtub after being dead for 6 days. There was zero flavor to the hot dog. $5 for something that should never be served. The guy working there was clearly excited about playing big boss to the 2 high school aged girls there, although he couldn't tell them to sweep all the chips off the floor in the dining area. And all you can get is chips - they have no deep fryer. The ceiling tiles were stained and gross. This place looked like it was abandoned 3 years ago and they just opened it today to serve the 2 hot dogs left in water before they closed. It is a pretty neat place when went in I saw that they have a lot of memorabilia all around the place. Also famous people have also been there with their autographs on their pictures. This place was quite busy which tells me that it must be good. It was very organized you can order your meal on a kiosk or at the counter. We decided to order it at the counter I ordered a famous Chicago hot dog which is an all beef hot dog on a poppy seed bun topped with chop onions, sweet pickle relish, tomato slices, dill pickle and a small spicy pepper with no ketchup but does have yellow mustard the price you could not bet it was very reasonable my guest ordered an Italian sandwich. After ordering the cashier gives you a receipt with your number on it and you step to the side. Then you wait until your number is called and that's how you get your order. Yes it was crowded but we waited for our two items for at least a half an hour which to me was unacceptable but besides that the place is really neat to try and the hot dog as well as the Italian sandwich was delicious definitely will be back again fingers crossed that we don't have to wait so long but the wait was worth it. They also have lots of seating around the restaurant. There is a second story as well you could sit up there.
