I ended up seeing Meghan, shes a newer stylist but was very pleasant and knowledgeable. I have to say--she did an amazing job!! I was really worried about loosing a lot of length despite knowing a lot had to go to make it healthy again. She managed to trim off just enough, but still left it at a perfect length. I've been nothing but impressed by the service I've received here. I can't speak to the Physiotherapy side of the biz, but I was originally referred here by a friend that has had a long relationship with the Phyisotherapy staff. I've always chosen RMT's based on my own personal bias towards a reputable location that's associated with health and wellness vs. just a spa. People have their own opinions on what they like in a massage. Some like to feel the pain and know that a massage that works out the kinks will pay off later on. Other people prefer the relaxation of feeling good immediately. I like a massage that makes me feel good, but that also tackles the knots and kinks with no sympathy. And, if anyone remembers the episode of Friends where Ross filled in for Phoebe and massaged an old man with wooden spoons, that's what I think of every time I consider trying a massage at a spa. (Biased? Yes. Unfounded? Probably.) Either way, I'd tell anyone looking for a new RMT to come here. The staff here are interested in your overall well-being and want to make sure that you are feeling good and are taking care of yourself. It's a holistic relationship and if you are interested in forming a regular routine of self-care, this is a great place to form that relationship.

I noticed that a few reviews down an employee there stated that someone's negative experience was not the norm...I beg to differ! I arrived there in time for my appointment and was provided a form to fill out before I was taken downstairs to have my treatments. I found it weird that the form did not ask me anything about my skin type, issues or the like - it was simply an address/contact form. Anyway... While there, I thought my manicure and pedicure were mediocre at best. It was only when I left that I realized what a terrible job was done to my nails. My fingers did not have polish on the entire nail - the sides were left bare. After my pedicure, while I was waiting to have my facial, there was so much moisturizer on my feet that the toe spacer slipped off taking a bunch of nail polish with it. The employee got mad at me for it - made some comment about how I shouldn't have moved, when I hadn't, I tried to explain to her what happened, but she didn't want to hear it. The entire time I was having my nails done, the aesthetician told me about how I could defraud my insurance company and how lots of times retailers will lie for you about what you get - designer sunglasses instead of prescription. Nice! No wonder my health insurance costs are so high. I was brought into another room to have my "personalized" facial. First off, she told me that some people like to talk thru that treatment, but that I should probably just stay quiet...trust me, after the insurance conversation I had no words. There was nothing personalized about that facial - noted by the pimples that started cropping up all over my face a few days later. She didn't even ask what type of skin I had, or if I had any issues. My skin is oily and can't take the heavy moisturizers, which she would have known if she'd bothered to ask. All in all, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a spa - and I've had a few. I would never recommend this place to anyone. If you haven't cashed in your dealfind yet, don't bother - you'll be better off for it...unless of course you want tips on how to rip off Blue Cross.

The price had me a bit unsure on Cas' level of prestige, as I've never heard of spas offering such deals. Walking in and getting started, I admit there were a few bumpy transitions with customer service and getting me to my room, and the decor could've been a bit more luxurious as well. Although this was nothing to directly turn me off, and I had a great massage to relax and rejuvenate. Besides a variety of massage work, Cas also does hair, skin care, Botox, Dermal Fillers and facial resculpting, and all the standard aesthetic servings. As well, I noticed they carry some interesting lines of product, including one called Sparitual-- a vegan luxury line enhanced with calming or stimulating natural herbal aromas to bring out chakras and calm the spirit. I probably would pick another local spa ahead of Cas if it weren't for the deal. It was a fine experience, but I've experienced places of more atmospheric grandeur, and prefer all richness when Im going in for a bodily indulgence. That being said-- this was a great deal, and the massage left me feeling refreshed. Its a good spot to keep an eye on for specials, as they seem to carry a few.

The lady who booked my appointment was very friendly and professional, so things got off to a good start from there. When I arrived for my appointment, I only had to wait a few minutes until I was escorted into the treatment room. I cannot recall the name of my esthetician, but she was a seasoned professional and it showed. The entire procedure - full face micro plus a calming masque - took about 30 minutes. Micro is an odd sensation but not painful. Application of the masque was very thorough and relaxing. When it was all said and done, my esthetician told me that Tuesdays are half off micro - naturally, they are kept very busy with this deal! I had a nice chat with the receptionist, who was a very pleasant lady, and left feeling happy with my experience. I may very well be back in the future for another treatment!

I had asked if I could change / pay extra to have a pedicure instead of a manicure (because I find manicures just chip in a day or so anyway, and aren't worth it (the GC was a gift to me)) this change apparently wasn't possible. Ok, that was pretty annoying, but I wasn't that upset about it , free manicure, whatever. When I showed up for my appointment, all was well. I had the massage and it was wonderful. An hour long of very professional, great, relaxing service. The whole time I was thinking I would definitely be booking again for a massage. Loved it Kelsey was fabulous and I thoroughly enjoyed the massage. The manicure was great too, until I was escorted out as soon as it was done, not being able to sit and let it dry at all, so 3 of my nails smudged before I even got to my car. (They did gladly help me get out my wallet and gift card, which was nice). I figured, I knew a regular manicure was just going to chip anyway so whatever. Up until then, everything was fine, it was when I went to hand in my gift card that I became severely disappointed and upset. I was told that the gift card covered $92-something of the amount, and that I still owed $63.25 ! I said, "What? I don't understand, the gift card was for what I had booked?" to which I was told (and shown on the back) that the gift card was for a 30 minute massage (not the hour that I got), and a manicure... Ok... so clearly someone made a mistake. Yes, it was written on the back that it was for a 30 minute massage and manicure, but I had handed the gift card to the lady when I booked and said I wanted THIS booked. So, she, being the one working there, should have booked the service that was on the gift card. I didn't know what she booked in, she just gave me the date and time. She had looked it up apparently and told me the reason I couldn't change to a pedicure was because the gift card was bought on a deal, so obviously she should have booked for that specific deal , as in the 30 minute massage, and manicure, not for an hour instead?? I would like to hope that it was just an honest mistake, but I feel cheated and don't think it's fair that I had to pay an extra 60-something dollars for a service that should have been free and a relaxing, enjoyable experience that was a gift to me. I would have happily only had the 30 minute massage that the card was for, but I didn't realize that she booked me for an hour, nor was I paying attention to the time while I was in the relaxing massage setting. I don't appreciate the only response from the girl who was taking my gift card, when I expressed my shock and confusion, all she said was just "oh, sorry" and then expected my payment. I really did enjoy the massage and Kelsey, and I realize it was a mistake/miscommunication, but no effort was put into fixing it, and this all just changed my relaxed appointment, and left a bad taste in my mouth and I will probably never book there again unfortunately.

And then there's the barefoot massage... Did I say then there's the bare foot massage ... You do have the option to do regular massages however for those of us who have different needs the barefoot massage is something to look forward to on every occasion and you do still have the option within that appointment to still have a regular massage but they have to book certain rooms so you have to make sure to book barefoot even if you're only having about 5 minutes of it and it's so worth it Having never had it done before I was very hesitant the first time and I haven't stopped since ..it just gets into the deep tissue in a way that hands can't but there's some massages that you need that hands are the best options I highly recommend this place for professionalism for ethics for knowledge for location and overall very positive experience every time with friendly front desk staff ..
