I originally gave this business one star due to poor communication and an issue with getting my deposit back, due to an unforeseen health issues for my husband . After posting my review, the owner reached out to clarify that they never received my text and explained that their policy is not to refund deposits. While I appreciate the effort to follow up and clarify, I'm still disappointed that they chose not to make an exception, even though they claim it's a rare occurrence in their 15+ years of business. The owner kept asking me to understand and be emphatic toward his condition, that he too lost business because I cancelled my event and Covid was horrible time, and yet he showed no empathy for my condition, and he was clear that he has refunded almost every case in the past except for one other time and mine. Unfortunately, I don't think I will be doing business with them again, but I do appreciate that they took the time to reach out. My fiancé and I booked this place back in 2019 and although we were a bit skeptical due to it being a new business, we placed our deposit with Joseph for May 2021. Throughout 2020, I would get updates from him about the venue and how he was hopeful that our event would happen despite there being a pandemic. Fast forward to today - we decided to cancel our reception at Aurora for the safety of our friends and family. It brought my fiancé and I a lot of uncertainly on whether a big social gathering like a reception would even be allowed at this time. Thankfully, Joseph was honest and gave us our deposit back. He is kind, easy to work with and really cares about his clients. Although we are not having our event here, I highly recommend this place! There are lasers, smoke machines, an LED screen that allows you to livestream family members. The place is clean, spacious and everything is still like NEW. A lot of banquet halls nowadays are outdated but Aurora comes with everything for a great price. They also offer catering and rentals should you need it. Love the golds, love the name 'Aurora' and where it generated from. Since it's a newer hall, we wanted to try some of the menu items before making a final decision as this hall for our wedding. Unfortunately, we were unable to do this (even for a price). That's my only reason for a 4 star rather than a 5 star review. After looking at other venues, we decided with another option that was best suited for us and our needs. But, it was a close call between this place and our choice - I highly recommended it if you have a smaller event (250-300 guests or so). You won't be disappointed! read more

The only thing I can say is that the best service provider was Kristina. It's not my first time here. I've been invited to this banquet hall so many times and she was the only one who kept checking on us every time we came. I'm amazed at how she takes care of the guests. I had a great time this Saturday at my sister's wedding rwcption, I wasn't expecting that the venue is so beautiful, the chandelier alone at the lobby wow!' The service is very good. The owner is very hands on and super nice . He even ran to the store and grabbed some pins for my sister's dollar dance, after the party, then my nephew left his wallet and when we got back inside it was still there. All of the guests had a grand time and were all praises to the venue, the lights and the sounds were so magical and nice. They loved the food . Unfortunately I dont have many pictures being the host but i managed to get a couple before the chaos. We are so happy with our decision to do our Babies event here .
