We had the food truck at my wife's 50th Birthday Party, and I tell you there is no so such experience. Maryam and her husband are the greatest, and will do whatever, to make sure there are smiles everywhere. We do a lot of entertaining, and Italians eat well. but i have to say these guys topped it!! I received unbelievable compliments, thumbs up from everyone, adults and kids, and our friends still talk about the burgers, and poutines till this day. I could not believe the size of these burgers, and there taste. Thank you again Casalingo for an amazing surprise 50th birthday party for my wife Ida, and your patients. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED we will definitely be keeping you guys in mind for future events. wish you all the best. PS: my wife cant wait to meet up with your food truck to have another burger!!

This food truck hangs out in Aurora at lunchtime on weekdays…read more Had a beef burger & small beef poutine. I had been recommended the beef poutine but actually it didn't go well with the burger, since the beef was chopped up burger patty, so it was the same as the burger. The burger had fresh tasting toppings & patty. The poutine was a good size for one person, but the curds didn't squeak, the fries were not crispy despite being fresh (they were like home fries in the form of French fries). The gravy was good though & the beef was quite tasty. There's no option to upgrade the fries in your combo to a poutine. But basically the combo gives you a free drink anyway.

Food. I had the smoked meat sandwich combo ($22.95). This…read moreis a Michelin rated bib gourmand establishment. Sumi Fernando, the owner, worked 17 years at Schwartz's in Montreal, including head cutter. Do your taste buds a favor and get a smoked meat sandwich with meat that's marinated for 10 days, smoked for eight hours and steamed for three hours. This is incredibly delicious! The combo also comes with seasoned fries, coleslaw, and a whole pickle. Service I came mid afternoon and it wasn't busy. Service was prompt, and the food came out quickly. If you wanna taste something like Schwartz's in Montreal or even Katz's diner in Manhattan, then come to SumiLicious in Scarborough.

Pastrami sandwich was good, but expensive and the structure of the sandwich fell apart so quick it…read morebecame difficult to eat. I think my rating would be way higher if more effort was put into the construction of the sandwich to complement the pastrami... Like the bread and toppings just didn't do anything to help the meat (which was delicious on its own). I do like that you can choose the kind of mustard you want as well as the cut of pastrami (lean, fatty, both, etc.) For a simple and quick pastrami sandwich, it does the job but I don't think it's worth the Michelin recommendation... This spot gets hyped up EVERYWHERE online but I think that just comes from lack of abundance for this type of food. If you're willing to make a trip for a WAY better fresh pastrami/smoked meat experience, head on over to When The Pig Came Home at the Junction in TO. You won't be disappointed.

The girl working was super nice and suggested she can make a pogo in a bun. I declined went to subway (same place) the customer service was atrocious at the subway but that's besides the point. Came back asked for the pogo in a bun and let me tell you it was actually pretty good. I genuinely appreciate the effort and creativity. Generous amount of onions in the bun huge plus, it's like she knew me ))) . Customer service 10/10. I'll be back for the proper hot dog next time.. or two! :)

As far as fast food goes, it's fun and tasty and highly recommended if you are in the neighborhood…read more The place itself is remote, and there aren't many options off the freeway, so it's easy to dismiss it, but don't. It's an excellent place to stop. It's so good I even saw employees from the adjacent Subway get their lunch there. The classics are solid. The cheese dog is worthy of the name, and the poutine will make Canada proud. They are very generous with the gravy, making this a tasty proposition. The signature dishes are the Rise to Fries dog and rose to fries poutine, both featuring their "secret sauce" and pickles. Both are great and preferred over the plain classics. The sauce has a nice herby flavor that works well with the sour taste of the pickles. It's really worth a try. Finally, the lady at the counter was warm, friendly, and energetic, like she actually wanted to work there, a rare phenomenon in this industry.
