Do not let them put the awful cream on your eyes. It will turn into a crusty disaster. They give a sample on the streets, put some nasty cream on your eyes that turns crusty, do a compliment, then criticize your appearance, and then go for high-pressure sales. Starting with the Non Surgical Eye Lift Solution, the results were instant and the product is worth every penny! When I arrived a week later for the Signature Truffles Facial she asked if anyone had complimented my skin yet and assured me that it was forthcoming. She was right! Two days after my facial and a week of using the Advanced Truffles line, a friend asked if I got botox on my forehead (never have done botox) and my skin really is radiant and looking better than it ever has. ILLUSIONAL YOUTH SERUM (3 stars) It was like a magic trick until you discover that magic is just an illusion. While walking my dog I was approached by the front sales person enticing bystanders with free samples - similar to those inside malls selling stuff at the kiosks. I normally don't stop but I felt bad because all other people walking by were ignoring her yet she continued to be pleasant. She really was very pleasant. So I stopped just to stop but I know all about what's to come. "Where are you from" (clearly she's mistaken me from a tourist than a local) "Your hair looks amazing" (I get this alot by a lot of people even though I literally just rolled out of bed. I'm blessed. At the same time I wasn't sure if she was truthful or lying through her teeth) "Since I like you.. let me give you a sample" (hands me a sample but then quickly slides in for another sales move" "Lift up your sunglasses let me put something on your eye" (lol I play oblivious and roll with it because I have nowhere else to be) Some eye serum was applied to one eye. I was told to come back in a few minutes so I could see the difference and fix my other eye. Few minutes later I took a glance and saw my dark eye circle smooth out. Did I return to fix the other eye? No. Because that would be the draw to bring me inside and sell me more (unwanted) products. I know about these products - it's just an "illusion". Give it 2hrs it will be back to dark circles. Wash off the serum it will be back to dark circles. I wanted to prove my own theory true. The serum "felt" tightening when applied. But later it's a very thin layer over the skin. It does crust up and gets a little flaky. I washed the serum off and my dark circle was back. Don't fall for this and spend hundreds (if not, thousands) on this illusional eye serum. Honestly, this is great if you have a photo ops or somewhere where you need your eyes to look depuffed and smooth for less than 2hrs. It's one of those quick fixes that wear right off. If you really want permanent results, spend your money on laser treatment or blepharoplasty. The latter would be the best of choice over any serum. read more

Minus 2 stars for the aggressive sales tactics, I told them I had a burning sensation which I believed to be from the fragrance in the product. I wasn't trying to get a refund or complain, just suggesting they have unscented options for those of us with sensitive skin but I was just pressured to buy products. Like, hello, I just spent 325 + 20tip + sales tax on a facial...just thank me for my business and let me be on my merry way. If the sales were not so aggressive, I'd return for another facial because my skin feels and looks great but I don't want to fight for my life by saying no to purchasing product just to leave a store after spending 100's. read more

My husband and I were approached while walking past the store in La Jolla.I was offered a free sample which led to being invited into the store. I usually turn down "free" samples but on this particular day, I decided to throw caution to the wind. The young lady who showed me the eye serum was sweet but very sales oriented and aggressive. I liked the eye serum and mask I tried but was not open to spending the quoted price. We ended up getting both products at half the initial price . My husband gifted me with the products otherwise I probably wouldn't have purchased anything. I did not like the fact that they started trying to cross sell us on something else before we had a chance to leave the store. I was sucked in and they were pouring champagne even after I had said no a few times they poured another glass and in the end when I pulled out my card, they ran to the register without taking a breath and charged my card and didn't mention there were no refunds and both sides of my face broke out because the serums are too thick! BEWARE!!! I wish I would have checked the reviews beforehand, but I was too tipsy from the champagne they kept pouring 4 glasses of champagne, to finally get me to agree to the purchase. I have a feeling I will need to get my lawyer involved. No one will ever make a good decision drunk or high and such a large amount of money involved $4900k I was never told at any time that this is a final sale and the product cannot be returned. Very deceptive sales practices. I was served (4) six ounce glasses of champagne to finally get me to agree to the purchase after saying NO repeatedly. California law has clearly stated only one 6 ounce glass of wine can be served to a client. (See California Law Below) CALIFORNIA LAW Assembly Bill 1322: SECTION 1. Section 23399.5 of the Business and Professions Code is amended to read: (3) No more than 12 ounces of beer or six ounces of wine by the glass is offered to a client. My wife and I have been using their products for at least 3-4 years. They take the time to analyze your skin. They prescribe a specific regimen. They follow up and re-evaluate your treatment as needed. The storefront in La Jolla is where they introduce and sell the products. They also have a location in Coronado. There is also a spa at both locations. There are sales persons, skin experts and estheticians at both locations. The sales people have great product knowledge and they can arrange a meeting with one of the skin experts (at no extra cost). Here is one thing I really like. The first product recommendation for my wife's skin type did not deliver the expected results. They took the time to re-evaluate and adjust her treatments and since then the results have been outstanding. My wife and I utilize their spa services for facials once per month. There are several esthetician's at each location but for us the licensed estheticians Lexi and Hiroko are amazing. They are both very professional, kind, and self educating - learning new techniques and applying them as needed. read more
