She is gentle with the hydrotherapy treatments and has your comfort in the process as a top priority. They all genuinely care for your wellbeing and want to help you achieve your health goals. I've gone for some of the other treatments they offer as well and Alejandra and Sam are amazing massage therapist. I hold a lot of stress in my back and neck and started developing a neck hump from the tension. I have had colonics in the past and my experiences have nowhere near compared to the EXCELLENT session I had at Cove Wellness. Cove was HIGHLY recommended to me by a couple of friends that regularly go for cupping and hydro colon therapy. I had my first combination session yesterday for cupping and hydro therapy and it was really refreshing! From the get go Samantha was so personable and made me feel comfortable right way. She explained the process thoroughly and was open to any and all questions. I was just able to lay back and relax and let her work her magic activating my lymph system! After my cupping session I moved into the hydro colon therapy room with Katie. Katie was wonderful as well! I just spent 5 days doing the retreat package at this spa . The word "spa" doesn't really fit ,as it is more of a detoxifying center . If you're looking for a cushy , pampering , white robe and comfy slippers with a relaxation , quiet room to lounge in, this is not that kind of place . What it is , is an amazing detoxification center with highly talented wellness team . The infra red sauna felt amazing , the medicupping truly removed toxins from my face and entire body . Just after 2 days my stomach was visually less bloated . The colonics is a true science. I like the fact that you can actually see what is empties from your colon and liver . If I could come here once or twice a week I absolutely would . Unfortunately, I live in Florida . I can't say enough about Sam who really knows how to give the best lymphatic massages and knows a lot about holistic healing . She's an amazing dedicated , talented employee . Then there's Laura who runs the colonics . She is just as talented and knowledgeable and very down to earth . Both woman make you feel at ease . They were a joy to get to know as I did since I was there 5 days in a row for 4 glorious hours each day . Lisa , the owner , is another amazing , highly educated woman . I came in with a friend of mine and we got the lymphatic drainage massage, infrared jade sauna and colonic. Everyone that works here it was very professional and very friendly. From the moment you stepped in to the moment you left you felt very relaxed. I originally went in August and I am going back again in September and October. I am so happy I found Cove Wellness! My friend and I booked our second visits right after our first, and she already booked a third visit next month. We both did the Signature La Jolla Detox and loved it! Great price for the value in services we received. Even more importantly, we had amazing results! My favorite part was the Medi-cupping, which was basically vacuuming of my abdomen and the back of my thighs. I have been to Cove Wellness for their colonics over 5 times now and I could not speak more highly of Lisa and the team here! Cove Wellness is an absolute delight! The first time I went in, I was greeted by the owner Lisa and she is so sweet and welcoming. Just entering through the door you instantly feel warm and calm. Literally the definition of relaxing vibes. I've done the electro-lymphatic therapy and medicupping vacuum therapy a few times with Katie and let me tell ya, there were the best experiences I've had with lymphatic drainage! She made me feel bad and yelled at me bc I canceled my appt. Then she proceeded to hang up on me. I called back to speak with owner and she was just as rude. She's so soft spoken but cold. I wish I knew the name of the nice and good technician. All I know was she was Hispanic looking girl. Not sure the name or what the rude technician looked like since I never made it to my appt. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lisa and Cove Wellness! My sister is the one who found this special wellness spa, desperate for something to help relieve her discomfort from multiple health issues. While I do no have any major health issues, I had been curious about getting a colonic for about three years and I am so glad I waited until I found out about this place! First of all, the space is intimate and clean. The owner, Lisa, is a beautiful soul who truly cares about every single person who walks in her door. She is not one of those business tycoon-types simply trying to make a quick buck off of a wellness trend. She has been in the industry for over 30 years and has done extensive research on every service offered and on every piece of machinery used. I have tried out several of their services: the coffee colonic, the foot bath, the lymphatic medicupping, and the lymphatic medicupping facial. I would go back for any one of those in a heart beat and they are all worth the price. Ashlyn, who does the medicupping, is a lovely woman, very respectful and very good at her job. She does not just go through the motions, she gives each treatment and each client a luxurious and relaxing experience. I walked out of that treatment feeling lighter and clearer immediately. As for the colonics--while anyone who has gotten one (or anyone who is afraid to) knows that they are not the most comfortable experience, Cove Wellness and its technicians outshine anywhere else. Their machine is a closed system, which means it's very safe and very good. Though it may not look too fancy with the simple tubes and knobs, it's designed to do exactly what you need it to do during the colonic. Anyone who thinks it's not state-of-the-art enough clearly hasn't gotten many colonics and probably has a lot more toxins to release from their body! While there was a period of time where there was a lot of technician turn-over (and one of my favorite technicians sadly moved away!), I can confidently say that Lisa curates her team of technicians and ultimately has chosen and trained an all-star staff. Lisa herself even does some treatments once in a while and it's clear she has an unmatched expertise and knowledge in this field that she shares with her team. You're in good hands with Ashlyn, Jenny, Jasmine, and, of course, Lisa! Someone once told me that Cove Wellness is a place for souls to cross paths and connect. I was excited to use my Groupon for a foot reflexology and detox foot bath but this place was fully booked almost two months ahead of time. I got lucky and was able to get in last minute today due to a cancellation. It wasn't quite what I expected. After completing my interview form I was led to a treatment room with a massage table and asked to lay down. My therapist then proceeded to give me a thorough foot massage. I have to admit, while it was not what I expected, it was very relaxing. After about 45 minutes I was then led to a small hallway that looked out onto a small balcony where my foot bath was to take place. My foot bath was basically a nice bucket of warm water into which they put an electric device of sorts that is suppose to make the water detoxify my feet. I sat there for 20 minutes before anyone realized the machine wasn't working, the whole time overhearing loud taking in the room next door (my chair was right by the door because it's a small hallway). After the machine was fixed my feet soaked in the now lukewarm water for another 20 minutes or so during which the water turned brown. That's supposed to be an indication of the detoxification. I have mixed feelings about this place. The people are very nice and the foot reflexology/massage was great (albeit not worth the original price of $75). The foot bath seems like a joke and not worth the $50 price. No A/C and poor placement of the foot bath area makes this feel less like a spa and more like what it'd be like if I gave myself a pedicure at home. I think the acupuncture and cleansing programs are probably what carry this business. read more

This place changed my life and gave me hope again. Earlier this year my family and I got sick 3 times in 2 months. My boys and my husband recovered in and I never really did. Few weeks later I had more symptoms neurological and psychological symptoms. Everyone told me it's anxiety and PPD. Then I lost my sleep completely and insomnia followed for 6-7 months. I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety by my primary even though the physical symptoms were so real. I gave up and went to Functional doctors and NDs. I was diagnosed with Lyme, CFS, Candida, Mold, Metal a toxicity. I had so many food allergies and chemical sensitivities at this point taking care of my family was so hard I couldn't focus. I lost myself. I was in utter pain from my head to my toes. Sometimes I could barely walk. I'm 35. I hadn't had asthma since I was a kid and I then I had the worst asthma it hurt to breathe. This place is incrediable. The atmosphere is very calming and welcoming and just spending time in Cove is a healing experience. I was really excited to discover Cove Wellness as I had been looking for a spot locally to try Lymphatic Drainage. This was the first time I had received the service and from all my research and conversations with my friends I thought I was a great candidate. I feel fatigued, I don't sleep well and experience occasional bloating. ABSOLUTELY AH-MAZING! For a while I've been looking for a place that did medicupping. I actually didn't know what it was called, but I had done the procedure while living in LA. I did it for a friend's wedding to help me slim down and I remember I was obsessed with the results. I am a very active person, I am professional dancer and fitness instructor. But my genetics don't work on my favor as far as cellulite goes. So now that I live in San Diego I've been asking around where to find this treatment and what it was called, and I was told that what I was looking for was called a "Lymphatic massage". I have always heard here in the states that Lymphatic massages are relaxing, and this treatment I got in LA, though fabulous, was NOT RELAXING! It gave me slimming results, but by no means it put me to sleep while doing it. I found a few places that are Brazilian owned (I am Brazilian), since I know the Brazilian lymphatic massage is different. I was a bit disappointed because it was all manual, not the cups I have been looking for. Then I found COVE WELLNESS! I read and re-read their website.. could it be? Did I finally find those miracle cups? YES! I did! I got the SIGNATURE PACKAGE for my first visit. It begins it a sauna treatment in a Jade-covered Sauna bed. You can stay in it for up to 1 hour, which I did!! Supposedly you can burn up to 600 calories in 30 minutes (varies for everyone). I fell asleep in it! It was so relaxing, and you don't overheat, though it does get warm. Ah! Just delicious! Then I did 90 minutes of the famous medicupping. As the tech began the procedure, I was wondering if it was going to be the same as I experienced in LA. It wasn't... It was better! The tech hit every lymphatic spot in my body with two different treatments, and it was the coolest thing I have experienced in a spa! Then she went on to my trouble area: butt and thighs. Those little cups really have a suction to them! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for and better! Then I ended the treatment with a Colon Hydrotherapy, and Lisa was fabulous. She took such good care of me, as it can be an awkward and uncomfortable experience. But her expertise overcame it all. Its genius! The SAUNA BED heats up your body, relaxes your muscles, gets your body ready for the suction treatment. the MEDICUPPING wakes up the lymphatic system and get things flowing and moving. and the COLON HYDROTHERAPY flushes out what your lymphatic system has released. This place is literally the fountain of youth!!! I am so thankful to have found Cove Wellness and Lisa, the wonderful woman who started this magical place. Before coming to Cove Wellness I was experiencing painful symptoms from several autoimmune issues and after only 2 treatments of the Lymphatic Drainage and Medicupping, I felt like a new person. Before the treatments I had awful pain in my neck and jaw and after my pain was gone and has not returned (it has been almost a year)!!!
