This review is long overdue. I wish I could review each doctor who I've seen individually and give each five stars because they all are deserving of the rating. I am so grateful to everyone at Pacific Pearl for their collective care of me since the beginning of this year. I have been trying to address all of my medical concerns for a long time now and could not find support that I felt comfortable with even though I went to multiple doctors and specialists looking for help. Dr. Fitzpatrick was the first doctor I reached out to at Pacific Pearl and it was during the holidays; right around Christmas 2018. I was floored that she responded to my email even though she was out of town and away from the office and helped me set up an initial phone consultation for New Year's Eve morning. I was blown away by the fact that she is an integrative psychologist and also a naturopath which sounded like exactly what I needed. I suffer from complex trauma issues, depression, IBS, prolapsing organs, borderline diabetes (even though I was fit, lean, and ate a very healthy diet). I've gone the whole antidepressant, anxiety meds route for more years than I can count and it just wasn't enough or right... I came to Pacific Pearl in crisis. I was extremely anemic, losing excessive amounts of blood everyday with a condition doctors wanted to perform surgery for but the side effects and the possible quality of life after such a surgery left me with a whole lot of questions and concerns that I wasn't getting answers to. Coming to Pacific Pearl, even though it is almost a two hour drive (without traffic!) is the best thing I have done for myself in a long time. Dr Fitzpatrick took a very extensive health history on me. She ordered tests that helped her evaluate my state of affairs and helped identify what food sensitivities I had and what I needed to avoid for now, what deficiencies I had, what supplements I needed. She has been helping me balance out my hormones and also helping me address my trauma issues. Dr. Fitzpatrick is my main go to doctor and I can honestly say I have never felt more cared for and supported than I do under her care. She introduced me to all the other wonderful doctors at Pacific Pearl who have all helped get me to where I am today. Dr Cohen DO played a huge part (and continues playing a huge part) in helping me achieve a recovery that multiple specialists said was not a possibility. He stood firm with his conviction that my condition could improve and worked together with Dr. Fitzpatrick toward that improvement. When I came to Pacific Pearl I was very sick, my hemoglobin was in the low 7s Hematocrit was 20 something... When I needed to go to ER, Dr Kalina and Dr Guernari got involved making inquiries; setting up appts with specialists, checking in with me to make sure I was alright, multiple times. Dr. Kalina called at 10pm and again in the morning. The personalized care is exceptional. Beyond exceptional. I am making great progress, getting better everyday and I have everyone at Pacific Pearl to thank.. I started coughing Jan 24, 2022 and I emailed my Dr.  at Scripps. without rejecting anything, no fever, headache; Should I take something like robutassin or Theraflu? On Jan 28, I got a video visit, Then a chest Xray; Then I moved to Montana, Feb 6; Dr. ordered me some codeine, which could not be transfered to Montana; another Dr prescribed Prednisone 20mg 2/day for 2 days, then 1/day for 4 days; I took also Albuterol Sulfate Inhalation. On the 17 I took the codeine; Nothing improved but constipation came; then I stopped. On Wed 23 night, I went to my neighbour Ann-Michele Casco , Pacific Pearl La Jolla, Acupuncture/Herbal medecine; She gave my some Anti-Viral Tincture (Scutelleria, Isatis, Glcyrrhiza, Lomatium, Yerba Santa, Ceanithus) in combination with EHB (Immune supported nutient). It immediately stopped my cough, and suggested no more cow dairy related products. I will keep the recommended regimen for 2 days And today Feb 26, no more cough read more

I've seen Mimi my current doctor for a couple years and she got me on the right track of things. I got diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2017 and needed some guidance to get me on a healthy track. The antibiotics took a toll on my body and I needed Dr. Mimi to help me get on the right diet and lifestyle to help me overcome this condition . Very poor service. I was really looking forward to Pearl's most expensive facial . I was going back East to meet the "relatives". I waited for my appointment . Fifteen minutes passed the time of my appointmen,someone asked if i had been helped. No explanation for the delay. I was the second person to join this practice when Dr. Guarneri opened it 5 years ago. My experience was another Integrated practice that schedules a lot of tests, charges a lot of money, does not listen and rushes through explanations. The Doctor recommended I take something that made me sick because she didn't listen. Beyond being sick i got absolutely nothing use out of the time and money i spent.
