Not only are they terrible at communicating with the customer, they do not set up proper dust…read morebarriers when sanding, and will damage your furniture. We are renting this house. The owner contracted to have the kitchen and master bathroom cabinets sanded and stained. 1. We were told the kitchen cabinets did not need to be emptied. 2. This will only take 4 days. 3. We tried to contact the contractor to inform them we wouldn't be available until 930am day one. No call back, and they showed up at 8am day one. End of day one I come home to find the kitchen cabinets, stove, microwave, and refrigerator masked off. Our kitchen table, and my grandmothers antique hutch are not covered. The cabinet doors are stacked against my grandmothers antique hutch. There is no dust barrier between the kitchen and the rest of the house. I contact the management company to complain specifically about the dust barrier and not covering the kitchen table and hutch. Day two the management company responds that they are contacting the contractor and will let us know what they hear back. About 1130am day two, a dust barrier goes up, the kitchen table, and hutch get covered. The contractor had already finished sanding in the kitchen and started the staining at this point in the day. The chemical smell from the stain is very strong. So strong that we opened every available door and turned on all fans to help clear the air. It is the end of December the week between Christmas and New years. current high is 57 with rain, and the low was already in the 40's. Day three the SO comes home after a doctors appointment to find the contractor working in the master bathroom. A dust barrier has been set up between the master bathroom and master bedroom. In this house there is no door between the two, only a small hallway and access to the master closet. This dust barrier does indeed block off the master bedroom, but was open to the open door'd master closet. Such great care was taken to set up dust barrier that funneled the sanding dust directly into our closet of clean cloths. I come home end of day three to a house that is so smelly with chemicals that we again opened all doors, and got out extra fans to try to clear the air before bedtime. This is when I find the pictured damage to my Grandmother antique hutch. I reached out to the management company again concerning the damage to the hutch. Day four is today as I write this review. Today the clear coat goes on, and apparently it is even smellier than the stain. We were told the contractor will have to return for a day five to finish the work being done. What you can expect: Bad communications. Poor workmanship in covering and protecting the customers possessions. Damage to your possessions. Finally, complete lack of care to a simple detail like putting up a dust barrier between an area being sanded and the rest of the living space.

A while back my son decided it was a good idea to chuck his basketball at the goal from across the…read morebackyard to make a "half-court" shot, and he chucked it so hard it hit the basketball goal and knocked it over, shattering both panes of glass. Without yelling or screaming about what just happened, I pulled out my iPhone and asked Siri to find me a window installation company to come repair my window. I came across LumberJack Windows & Doors- loved the name and the branding, and that it is a family-run company. I did a little more digging and found they didn't have any Yelp reviews (til now!) but had 7 really good Google reviews so I gave them a call. Bethany, the (sister) office manager, answered right away and was super friendly. She set me up with an appointment with Michael, the (brother) estimator, to come and take a look at the damage, as the basketball goal appeared to have damaged the frame of the window in the tumble. Michael showed up on time and checked out the damage and gave me a few options--ranging from the cheapest fix to more energy-efficient upgrades. While we were chatting, he mentioned we might even qualify for a rebate from the state if we decide to upgrade all the windows in the house- sounded a bit too good to be true but checking into it I actually found I could benefit so I'm looking into that separately- I can update the review if I move ahead and find out more. They fixed the broken window with a temporary fix while we get the new ones installed which was nice. I recommend you give them a try.

Let me first start by saying this is not a paid review. Our…read moreroof was on its last leg literally and when Brad came out to give us an estimate he said it needed to be redone. But I don't think any of us knew how bad our roof had deteriorated. When the ALCC arrived and started to work they were on time and professional. As the work unfolded Brad and his lead Justin we're on site every day. Both Brad and Justin kept myself and my husband informed the entire process. The amount of information and over the top customer service that was provided during our roofing was exceptional. I am a stickler for customer service, professionalism and honesty and Brad Justin and the crew for ALCC construction hit it out of the park in every category. During the walk through that took place on Saturday was even exceptional because Justin came and it was the weekend and everybody has weekend plans and Justin put his plans on hold to make sure that every question and every concern was answered and followed through and my husband and I really appreciate the attention to details and the courtesy shown to make sure we as customers were happy with the job. And a huge shout out every night they cleaned up. Regards to my solar Brad is coordinating with my Solar company to make sure everything is in line with the roof warranty and solar installation warranty. Just overall A++++ I would recommend !!!
