Because housing costs are unaffordable in eastern Massachusetts for the majority of people, many have to reside in whatever is the least expensive choice. The Levy family has taken advantage of the situation and lured renters in with some of the lowest rents in the area. But they do not maintain their units as they should. All outside maintenance goes to the lowest bidder, with foreseeable results. The on-site maintenance employees are exemplary and do the best they can with no help from the owners. The on-site manager has to field complaints for issues over which she has no control. I have never before written a review on a website, but want people to know that if you must rent here, you will be ok. But expect nothing from the owners or management. Only Gary and Christine care a whit about the place (maintenance and manager).

The quality is much better than the semi-custom made-to-order delivery options. It's a little more money but they came fully assembled, delivered up the stairs by Mike himself, and he made a few adjustments for my floors and moldings. What service! Mike built and installed a custom vanity for us (photos attached). We have a very small bathroom…read moreand the available styles and sizes of vanities at Home Depot didn't match what we wanted, so I reached out to Mike, he came over to take a look, and provided a quote for the work. Building a custom vanity was a little more expensive, but we got so much more for what we paid. I selected Mike in part because when he came to look at the configuration of my existing vanity and plumbing, he had a clearer vision that he articulated for how he could build and install the vanity, and what the options were given the positioning of the plumbing. The other contractors I had come and look didn't mention the relationship between the dimensions of the drawers and open space and the existing plumbing in the wall. We also asked Mike if it would be possible to build a pull out step under the vanity that our 1.5 year old daughter could use to step up and use the sink (probably when she gets to be 2 years old or so). He explained his vision for that and it was perfect. Mike also built the style of the doors and drawers to match a style we had seen, and as you'll see in the pictures, it looks amazing. Mike was super easy to work with, very responsive, and provided a documented design spec that he sent to me for approval (which we made a few tweaks to). He delivered the piece on time and was flexible with his schedule in matching to mine to install it. He expected half of the price of the piece as a down payment, very reasonable, and received the rest upon delivery and installation. I ordered the vanity top custom from home depot and I selected the handles I wanted Mike to install. He used the top to ensure that the piece he built would conform to fit. I also ordered the tread for the step after brainstorming ideas with Mike. I personally removed the old vanity and disconnected the old plumbing, but that could be done by a plumber as well. Mike installed the new vanity against the wall, and I had my plumber connect the plumbing to the new faucet we bought after Mike had left. Overall, I can't recommend Mike highly enough. He is professional, creative, responsible, and I can tell he takes pride in his work. Thank you Mike, we are already enjoying the transformation to our bathroom that you helped make possible!

They want to charge fees for each vehicle yet they don't have security in the complex. They NEED armed security. Why would you have to pay to park when they're already charging you like $2600 for a 2 bedroom paper thin wall apartment. They're taking serious advantage of residents. They DO NOT care about your health or the health of your child because if they did nobody would be dealing with cockroaches, mice, or fruit flies. Nobody would have to wait weeks after reporting the issue. And finally, 3 cars were stolen out of the complex last night. One of them is my daughter's vehicle. She and her husband who work their asses off just to live there is so troubling to me. They have a baby and should not have to deal with all this shit for what they're paying. Hey Commons, want to charge fees for residents cars? Then hire a security company! My daughter and her family should feel safe for what they pay you! You're money hungry and do not care what happens to the people that have no choice but to live there because they can't afford to move. If you're gonna charge parking fees you should be responsible when cars are stolen out of there.
