I was craving a diner cheeseburger because I knew they had a diner menu but turned out they also have a second menu full of Mexican options. I had a tough time making a decision which would be my only complaint, if that counts as a complaint. I was with a big party so I got my cheeseburger *and* got to taste steak and birria tacos, carnitas and the al pastor. I thought maybe they'd be better at one cuisine than the other, but they nailed both. Such a welcome addition to the neighborhood. I have family nearby and definitely plan to return.

Next tome came and I got parking (very rare) almost in front of the store. I got 3 hotdogs (2spicy, 1 regular) and the Jap chae. The batter for the hotdogs was too sweet for my taste, the hot dogs themselves were just ok. The JapChae was just noodles. A cup of lightly seasoned ALL noodles (nothing else). Just noodles. Suffice to say, not stopping by anytime in the future- near or far. I was the only customer at the time and the service was still over 15 minutes. The kid manning the counter could not be of any more help explaining the menu offerings.

No idea where to order, where to pay, where to pick up and the staff doesn't seem really happy either.. I went on a random Friday and I was a little overwhelmed which says a lot for me because I've been to a bunch of delis. The prices were a bit high too. A plain bagel with butter and jelly was $5.75- in New York it might run me anywhere from $3-$4 and for clearer service. All that said, the bagel was FIRE but I'm not sure if I'd come back here.

Even better than the bagels? The staff are so sweet and very much reflect warmth, even when it's almost closing time on a Saturday (I am ashamed to say that is the time I usually stop by). The manager, Vianey, is so kind, and the conversations I have had with her, although short, have been wonderful. Back to the bagels-- have you ever had a FRENCH TOAST BAGEL?? It exists! It's dessert for breakfast, but not in the typical sugar crash when you get to the office type of breakfast. I've attached some pictures I took of the french toast bagel. I believe they knead the dough with streaks of sugar and goodness without over-doing it. Chef's kiss. I also do have to note that they wrap their bagels very well, and it will not stain the inside of your purse (this has happened to me at other places before and I am not a fan of dirtying my purse for breakfast). There are also plenty of tables and food and drink options that are not bagels like muffins, pastries, cookies, a myriad of flavors of juice and lemonade, coffee, and a huge variety of bagel sandwiches which I have yet to try, but I will be taking myself on a solo date here when the weather gets warmer, and I will have to restrain myself from buying the whole menu.

And to me that's obviously the case. My Taylor Ham, Egg, Cheese, with Avocado on an Everything Bagel Sandwich was dynamite deliciousness. Gotta also add that I was totally impressed with how all the toppings had held on throughout the entire session. They offer a Freshly Brewed Coffee Station where customers can make their own cup exactly how they want it. I've always preferred this method over someone else making my cup and adding way too much sugar or creamer. No thanks, just show me where the cups are and I'll take it from here  Lol. Service is friendly fast and efficient, my order was ready as soon as I finished making my perfectly blended cup of 100% Arabican Bean Brew. Ordered the Grandma and some fries- because if I see em, must have em. Fries were nothing special, so on to the pizza. Oh wait, if you see your soda come out in those pizza hut-esque cups and bubbles are visible- know its going to be a good meal! Pizza came out hot and aromatic! The crust slices knew they were getting attacked first so I had to mindfully get a pic or two before starting. Those center crustless slices rejoiced- must have heard those are my desperate choice, nightcaps if you will. Def looked generous with the cheese and there was a little shine to the pie. Upon closer inspection it looked like they were generous with the pizza oil (pesto? basil?) First bites- quality cheese lots of good chew and pull. Sauce and oil combo gave a great balance. Crust was good as it looked. Happy to "stumble" onto this spot but will ask for less oil next time. Note: Never had leftovers that tasted even half as good as fresh until this pizza - Crust kept its bite.
