The pulled pork was just a mess, no flavor and wet(not juicy I mean wet). Beans were undercooked and really missed the spot, the brisket was grey genuinely the worst brisket I ever had. Cornbread reminded me of my middle school cafeteria, and not in a good way. Mac and cheese was the only decent thing on there but besides the food the staff was incredibly nice and food came out very quickly. Food was also very expensive which made no sense because for the quality and quantity there was barely any food. Would not recommended stopping here very overhyped for no reason. - Daquan out

Even with just 3 people in front if me it took a while to get my food. I like how colorful the cheesesteaks are. A lot of places don't add colorful veggies to cheesesteaks, just the basic peppers and mushrooms. The worker saw that I was looking for something after getting the sandwiches and asked what I needed. They keep utensils behind the counter, but they definitely are attentive and helpful. A tad pricey, but overall a good lunch. Recommend it?: Yes.

I've had many cheesesteaks from other restaurants and I always find myself wishing I had Charley's instead! They get it right! There are several options to choose from if you want to go beyond the basic, for example some are made with chicken, some have bacon, etc. But my favorite is the good old original, with everything (provolone cheese, onions and peppers). They grill and assemble your order right in front of you and service is quick despite the long lines. You can also add lettuce, tomato, mayo, bbq sauce etc if you wish. A slight downside is that the staff seems to be entirely Spanish speaking so that might be a challenge for some people trying to add condiments or discuss orders in detail, etc. They also offer several types of loaded fries, but again, I prefer the original plain ones... they're really fresh and tasty. I've even visited Tanger just to eat here, without doing any additional shopping at all. Give it a try, if you can find parking :-/
