The workers here are so rude and lazy. It's clear that they don't want to work. They roll their eyes at you when you come in for food.

Always tell me they cannot make what I want. Close at 8pm, but say they are out of dough at 6:30pm - very bad service!

I received an extremely greasy chili dog (the bottom of the bun was stained orange as if it was literally just sitting in grease, I had to tear the entire bottoms off. The chili was COMPLETELY flavorless with a non meat like chew, thats really as far as I can explain that one. It was like there, but tasted and disintegrated as if it wasn't. As well as, everything generally just came out as if it had been sitting around, it was cold and a bit stale. I also ordered a "THE FARMER" from their breakfast menu, and though this was better and a little fresher, the potatoes were still cold and mostly uneatable. So, inna nutshell I haven't tried everything, but this isn't the first time a meal I've had from there came out subpar. Price to quality food ratio id have to rate it like a 2-3, the hotdog was 8 dollars and "the farmer" was around 13-14. With that in mind, to have points where I am genuinely STRUGGLING through my meal is crazy. I would have to rate my overall experience between a 3 - 4 outta 10. If you don't mind a cool store and a gamble check it out !

Honestly, it sets this location apart, which can be a challenge for a food chain. Today in particular we came in to snag some grub after a long morning run, but the self-order kiosk did something wonky with the coupon on my app. I was reluctant to make a fuss, but I went up to the counter and the employee was very understanding and helpful and was able to implement the coupon just fine for me. I really appreciated this stress-free interaction. Bonus points, the food was hot and fresh and delicious as it usually is! The inside is modernized and clean. The bathroom is clean. The drive-thru, when I utilize that, is always efficient and easy. I see a lot of negative reviews for this joint. Idk, to me this place is doing it all right! Thank you, staff members, for always being there to satisfy my craving for french fries and nuggets, lol!

My rating deviates for what other Yelpers have said about McDonald's. I don't frequent McDonald's…read moremuch when I'm stateside. In fact, this visit was my fourth visit to a McDonald's stateside. Coincidentally, all four McD's visits have been in Minnesota. I'd say that roughly half a year ago, I downloaded the McD's app to order food. It gets a bit confusing when I get notifications on my phone and I can't tell if it's for McD's Canada or the US. The difference between the two apps when you look at the icons is that the Canada one has a maple leaf. The US one only features the golden arches. Anyway, I got a notification saying that nearly 3,000 points were about to expire. Oh, no. I needed to use them up before May hit. I had just finished doing some grocery shopping at Trader Joe's in Eagan. It was the perfect time to grab some dinner from McD's. I did a search on the McD's app and found one that was less than a kilometre away. It's a few blocks west of Trader Joe's. Cool! I ordered the following items: - Large iced sugar-free vanilla coffee (free with points redemption) - McChicken - McDouble - Strawberry shortcake McFlurry The strawberry shortcake McFlurry is here for a limited time. I love strawberry shortcake, so I had to try it. This McD's is the nicest one that I have ever been to stateside. I like the trees and benches where you can dine out on a warm day. I went through the drive-thru. It's one lane. There were a few cars ahead of mine, but things moved well. I got a nice woman at the order area. I stated my order code. She found it. All details were shown on the screen. I had paid in advance, so all was great. There are two windows to pick up your order. The first window is your go-to window. I got my McFlurry and sandwiches. It took longer to make my iced coffee, so I was asked to pull up to the second window. Sure enough, my iced coffee took a good five minutes to make. I forgot that large means extremely massive stateside. I thanked the lovely woman and drove off with my dinner. At my hotel room, I chowed down. It boggles my mind how cheap food is a McD's in the States. Getting a McChicken for $2 is unheard of. Let's start with my sugar-free iced vanilla coffee. I love that you can get sugar-free vanilla syrup in your drink. This drink was awesome. I'm not a regular coffee drinker, but I do like coffee beverages with flavour. This one had the perfect vanilla flavour that cut down the coffee taste that I can't drink on its own. This drink has milk in it. I hope that there will be dairy-free options down the road. I was impressed at how yummy my iced coffee was. It was massive! I'll take it when my beverage is free. Here's my interesting take on chicken sandwiches. McD's in Canada have better McCrispy and McChicken sandwiches. It's the special mayo that elevates these sandwiches. Stateside, McD's finally renamed the old Crispy Chicken sandwich to McCrispy. The McCrispy sandwich stateside is dry and does not have any sauce or mayo. I don't get it. My McChicken sandwich had mayo with no taste. The chicken was seasoned, but it tasted bland, especially with the shredded iceberg lettuce and plain bun. The McDouble is the same on both sides of the border. The beef was seasoned nicely. It had cheese, pickles, mustard, ketchup, and onions. I liked this sandwich better than the McChicken. When I looked at the photo of the strawberry shortcake McFlurry on the app, the strawberry shortcake flavouring was layered with the vanilla soft serve. When I got my McFlurry, it was essentially vanilla soft serve with strawberry shortcake topping and flavouring on top. I would have preferred layering. Instead, I tried my best to mix everything up in my McFlurry. Other than the lack of layering (false marketing, folks), I liked this McFlurry. You got crispy strawberry shortcake bits that tasted so good. The vanilla soft serve was cold and creamy. If I crave McDonald's or want another iced coffee, I'd come here. Staff were nice. I'd avoid the McChicken, but I'd certainly get all other items again. (133)

I really like the story that gets told about how this cookie-cutter gas station has a food counter…read morewith mind-blowing food. But that last part doesn't match my experience. I had so-so birria tacos (no consomme, single soft-corn tortilla) and so-so horchata (served in a sealed bag that looks like an IV pouch, actually kind of funny), along with a tasty and particularly juicy elote. My friend got the Asada Mulita and he quite enjoyed it. That seemed like a good deal for $9, and $4.90 per taco for what I got is okay. The ambiance absolutely does not rise above what you would expect from an unremarkable, utilitarian convenience store with a few tables that aren't routinely wiped down. You can order online (highly recommended) or from a screen near their covered-up window. Whenever a food place is clearly hiding its employees from its customers, I'm nervous that I will be ignored. But someone was constantly popping out and asking people what their names were, and telling them how many minutes they can expect to wait. (Waiting = standing next to the salty snacks shelves.) I see now that they have Al Pastor Chicken with Pineapple Pico and I definitely want to come back and try that. Maybe I'll raise my rating if I love it. Meanwhile, I'd recommend considering this at least for the experience, but order ahead and expect a 30-minute wait. Also note that they close at 7pm.
