About 15 hours before pickup, a friend offered to drive me to the airport so I texted Johnny to inquire if it was too late to cancel, fully expecting and accepting that it was probably too late and that I would gladly take his cab ride anyway, as his small business must be supported. Instead, Johnny decided to lash out with sarcasm, costing him my business as well as the future business of the Maine-based organization I am here to work with, once they saw these screenshots. When I called to ask why, they said it was because they didn't have any buses or transportation available. They assured me I wouldn't be charged. Nonetheless, I received a payment confirmation the next day. I called the company back to flag the issue and was told that both transactions were now cancelled and would disappear from my credit card within 3-5 business days. It's now been almost a month and I still haven't received any refund. Both pending charges have officially gone through, and no one is answering my emails or calls. I had to contact my bank to dispute the charges. I'm so frustrated!

We used a bus and 2 14 passengers vans which were clean, safe, comfortable and very nice. They're a busy bunch, so communication was sometimes a little spotty when planning, but there wasn't any question about commitment. Country Coach Charter pulled the old bait-and-switch on me, pocketed my deposit, and refused to refund me the money back when I received the invoice (months before the date of service) with services we did not agree on. Several months before my wedding, I requested a coach bus with air conditioning that seats 50. Darcy immediately responded and asked me to fill out a form on her website and submit the deposit, and she would immediately send over the invoice. Wanting to lock down transportation, I foolishly did so as I thought this was a honest, business relationship. When I finally received the invoice, it was for a a shuttle bus that doesn't even seat 50, with no air conditioning in the middle of summer (the shuttle bus wasn't even pictured on their website or facebook page). When I respectfully emailed back immediately saying that this is not what we agreed on, and if I could receive my deposit back, Darcy did not respond for months, after repeated calls and emails. My CC company would not refund me the money either due to filling out the form on her website first (which was my mistake). I am very disappointed that CC of Maine would conduct business in this manner, and am personally insulted that they wouldn't even return my phone calls or emails, even as I was being respectful. Our driver was so awesome, funny, kind, and got us to Bangor safely. It took HOURS but I'll never forget how great he was. I wish we had more options - I travel from Lincoln, Maine to Portland, Maine frequently. I try to use public transportation as much as possible to save the environment and save my car. Perhaps the limited options are Covid related. It was hard getting up at 4:30 this morning to get on the 7 am bus to Portland. I was determined to support our business and also help save the environment. I have been vaccinated against Covid, that has helped me make this decision, as well. They have plastic guards on all the seat backs. They have seats blocked off. The staff are awesome, as always! I love how I can sit back, read, listen to music, or watch a movie. You do have to bring your own headphones now and they do not serve water and snacks. That is fine - I'm grateful they are still in service.
