This cuts the length down to 25 meters each way. I would recommend going during school hours. After kids are out of school there are so many local swimming teams practicing, it can be hard to find a lane free for laps. There is also a separate pool for diving. They have actually held Olympic diving trials here.

They are running a fall break special for unlimited play for only $20 a person, most attractions were included (splatter room and human claw game were extra). For $20 it was steal of a deal, unfortunately they normally charge per hour for most activities. For me I know there is no way my kids will stay at one activity for an hour. I think they need to come up with more package options, maybe 3 activities for $25, 4 activities $33 or unlimited activities for $40. They do have small snack bar with drinks, beer, ice cream, popcorn, candy and other items. They have a retail area with shirts, key chains, sensory toys, hats and more. The splatter rooms are much larger at this new location. They do also have a couple of party room options. The staff was absolutely wonderful! I would definitely go back if they start regularly offering packages, otherwise it could easily become quite expensive with 3 children.

absolutely the worst gym ever and are so ridiculously abusive and will lie straight to your face…read more emotionally, physically and verbally abusive, lying, rude, snakes, favoritism, screaming, twisted, threatening, name calling, unsafe, refuse to help or spot, completely different around parents, angered at any questions, traumatizing, poor equipment, scrutinizing and belittling, just like the karolyi's and i regret all of my 11 years there and ten years of competing for and representing them. the amount of depression anxiety and mental health issues i accrued through this gym is absolutely astounding. the amount of times i cried before going to every practice begging my parents to turn the car around and the amount of times i cried during practice the amount of times they made me physically sick from the abuse and the amount of times i hoped to get an injury so bad to the point where i would never be able to do gymnastics again. they pick their favorites and if you're not one of the 5% they favorite they will abuse you they will lie to you they will forget about you they will punish you they will name call you they will threaten and scream at you. it's truly astounding how bad a gym can possibly be and if you know anything about the karolyi's and their abusive training tactics then you would have to be absolutely out of your mind and idiotic to send your child here to suffer through such trauma and abuse. and if you don't know anything about the karolyi's i highly suggest you do even the slightest bit of research and you will find that no child should ever be treated this way. if you have watched athlete a it is the EXACT same in every way except for the sa of course. do not send your child here unless you truly want to scar, traumatize and abuse your child!

This is great for those of us on a budget. The pro is very friendly and they over many clinics during the week. They have both ladies' and mens' nights round robin play. The pro shop inside sells drinks and racquets, balls, mostly basic things. It's not like some of the private clubs that have tons on merchandise. The pro shop is elevated in the middle of all the courts, and has a large wrap around porch. It's nice to be able to see what's going on from that vantage point. As a tennis player I don't love some of the courts that back up to Wrightsboro Rd. The traffic is noisy, and makes it hard to hear scores and other calls. Daniel Field is across the street as well, and occasionally you get a plane landing or taking off during match play. I've found that every tennis facility has its own noise issues. You get past it and keep playing. A couple local high schools have matches here as well as the local college. Newman hosts lots of tournaments so if you are just looking to see some great tennis you maybe in luck.

When I went to sign the kids up for outdoor swim lessons. For some reason you can only sign up the first of the month, in person. They lost the key and it took an hour of everyone waiting out in the hot sun to finally let us in and another long wait to actually get us in the system. Not sure why you can't call and sign up or do it online.

Fort Gordon is changing their policy for who can get on base and one military ID for the car isn't going to be enough. Everyone over the age of 18 needs a military ID or must get a visitor's pass. Just a heads up because it could spoil a trip to Fort Gordon if you aren't prepared in advance. Back to the pool... they have a larger pool complete with diving boards, a huge slide, basketball hoop and plenty of open space to swim and life jackets available for anyone to use. As you can imagine, this pool gets busy but there are lifeguards on duty to keep it under control! There's a separate baby pool and the splash pad attracts mostly the younger kids (be warned there's a mandatory break every hour and then the splash pad is over run with big kids). As far as the splash pad goes, it's a fun area and has a cute little slide that even adults can fit down to help toddlers. With that being said, I feel as though the pressure of the water coming out of these spouts are way too high! I was walking through with my 17 month old and I can't tell you how many times I was blasted in the face unable to see! Maybe it's because the height is adjusted for kids but they have to know adults will be going in to supervise. There are plenty of chairs to sit on with the overhead shade things ( not sure on official name) and ones directly in the sun. The ones we used are in eyesight of splash pad but if they had lockers, I would've preferred to put our stuff in those instead. They don't really have a locker room, it more of a bathroom with a bench in it. I was surprised they didn't have showers available. The price is $4 for adults and I can't remember what age is the cutoff for them to get in free. There's a little concession stand with more seating under umbrellas, mostly unhealthy options to my dismay. Overall, a great facility and professionally managed...hooray!
