Parking was easy for us as we parked in the back by the casino with no issues. The main reason we went was for the pool and cabanas on Saturday. Input server Jamie was awesome. Attentive, hustler, and multitasker. She was, for sure, the hero of the day. But the staff ran out of taquitos, ran out of sprite, messed up a couple of orders that Jamie wrote down correctly. Bar line moved decently quick. Pools were clean and comfortable. Overall, good time. Casino was fun for being a California casino. I'd come back but I'd make sure to ask for the same room we had in the north tower. Prices for a room were a bit ridiculous (high) and we couldn't "modify" our reservation. There was no term or condition saying we couldn't change from 2 to 1 night. However, a band is in town and it's comic con weekend. Place was completely full. I'll probably go again at some point but, it wouldn't be my primary choice.

The onsite parking is really convenient and from your parking spot in the deck or the adjacent lot, the casino and concert hall are easy to access. However, that is where the kudos end. The room we saw the concert in looked like a conference room for a convention. I was like are we here to rock out or be moved by a keynote speaker that will get us in touch with our feelings?!? The chairs and carpet look like they're from circa 1977. The light fixtures must have been part of the 1981 remodel and everything just looks and smells old. There would have to be a pretty important show that I wouldn't want to miss for me to come back here. Tbh it was kinda ghetto.

(Ugh) There is a large nonsmoking section which is where we spent a lot of time. Unlike some other casinos, they don't just chuck old machines in the section but have a good mix. And there are several self-serve beverage stations throughout the casino. My friend had never seen that feature and he now loves this casino, lol. Harrah's is only about 10 minutes away.

When I explained all of his training and then tasks they said he was not "acting like a service dog" and they said they watched footage of us waiting for a minute while they were coming and that he was "pulling on his lead" and "not patting attention" I said I take an accusation like this very seriously and that if they are truly claiming that I want all of this is writing and documentation of him "not acting like a service dog" as well as that video evidence of him not acting like a service dog. I then unfortunately had an episode due to the drama of it all to which my dog tasked and my husband stepped up and took over. They then realized they had messed up, changed their mind and said "we will allow it just this time" Absolutely ridiculous. My dog has gone through extensive training, been certified through two trainers, has passed his CGC and public access and the audacity for a security guard to say he wasn't acting like a service dog because he wasn't looking up at me every single second is ridiculous. They are not robots, he can get stepped on if not careful, he checks in every 10-15 seconds and alerts just fine. They would not show us footage of him "not acting like a service dog" which makes me think they were just lying to try and not allow us entry. I'm only writing this review so others don't feel absolutely awful since the valley view security treats people as the service dog police. I understand people abuse and lie about service animals, but it was quite obvious my dog is trained. To be questioned like a that was awful and just sad. Just be for warned you're going to be questioned like a criminal and may or may not be allowed entry with a service animal.

We have been there for bands, magic shows, seasonal shows etc. and have not been disappointed. The featured cover bands are the best! Anyway, walking into the theater is like walking into someone's home. The staff treats you like family! It is the complete OPPOSITE of all the stressful hoops you have to jump through at a large arena style event. The lobby is quite comfortable and has a lot of artifacts showing the amazing history of the resort. Will probably take a few visits to go through it all. One last thing. They made an error on their schedule which resulted in me having tickets on two different dates of the same event. Rather than send an email, they personally called me and gave me options that quickly resolved the issue! Although we've been guests at Welk's Theater for just over a year, I sure wish I had known about them sooner...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish…read more Check-in was advertised for 4:00 p.m., but we didn't get our room until nearly 8:30 p.m., costing us hours of the vacation we paid for. Throughout our stay, we requested basic necessities like fresh towels and soap refills, but they never arrived despite multiple requests. On checkout day, housekeeping walked into our room at 9:00 a.m., a full hour before the 10:00 a.m. checkout, while we were still getting dressed. Our privacy was completely disregarded. I was also repeatedly singled out because of my service dog. Multiple employees yelled, "You better clean up after your dog," even though I was visibly carrying waste bags and had done nothing wrong. It was humiliating and showed a lack of training on how to appropriately interact with guests who use service animals. To make matters worse, I unexpectedly started my period and needed pads before the gift shop opened. Because the resort had no way to help and the trams were so unreliable, I had to walk all the way down the steep hill just to get basic hygiene supplies. For a resort of this size, that level of guest support is unacceptable. The most concerning part of our stay was the Russian tortoise in the kids' center. I am the founder of The Wise Frog Reptile Rescue and have spent more than 11 years rescuing and rehabilitating reptiles. The tortoise appeared to lack proper UVB and heat, and its shell was in alarming condition. I brought my concerns to staff, but they showed little interest in addressing them. My children were heartbroken because they immediately recognized the animal appeared to be in distress. An animal should never be displayed for children if its welfare is being overlooked. Between the delayed check-in, ignored requests, lack of privacy, treatment over my service dog, unreliable transportation, and concerns about animal welfare, this resort fell far short of the experience we expected. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful changes for both guests and the animals in their care

We easily found parking in their complimentary lot. Ambiance (4.5/5): This is one of the things that make wineries great... the scenic views. While they have a tasting room inside, your best option is to sit outside on the small yet charming patio. The best part is that you'll enjoy the mountains in the background as you sip on your vino. Service (4.5/5): We ordered a bottle of wine about 10 minutes before close. One of the owners was nice enough to allow us to stay outside on the patio way past closing time. He said we could stay as long as we wanted. That's the type of service you rarely see at drinking holes these days. Food (N/A): They had various snacks to purchase and you can also add chocolates with wine flights but we were on a liquid diet. Drinks (4/5): If you're interested in doing a wine tasting, they have both a red and white option. The prices are affordable (especially by California standards) for both flights and if you'd like to purchase bottles of wine for enjoying there or to take home. I did the red flight. They serve it to you on a cutting board of sorts with a piece of paper giving you a short description of each wine. From there, we had a bottle of sauvignon blanc. I didn't take any wine home, but you can get a discount if you buy in bulk. One last thing that made Belle Marie an awesome winery is that it was one of the few open on a Tuesday in the area. A lot of them are open on the weekends only or Wednesday-Sunday or Thursday-Sunday. Belle Marie delivered on the only day we could stop by. For that, I'm grateful!

As for the wine, the flights were limited to just a choice of all-white or all-red. I got the red flight and was hoping for some bolder flavors, but perhaps they are better known for their whites? We didn't request an ADA room but got one anyway. Shower head was Kohler, 10/10 but water is so easy to flow into the bathroom floor with the ADA set up. Walls too thin, had to complain about neighbor screaming loud sporadically, playing a game with his kids. They took care of it right away. Parking is fcfs. Coming back after 7pm is a pain. Amenities are wonderful. Coffee place was great, but sometimes the door is locked during hours of operation - you have to check the front desk for service. I would stay here again for the amenities.

You get a pass to to rent paddle boards or kayak but kids can't do it so you will pay $20 to do a paddle boat. They have a fire pit and give you smore packet to make smores. The reason for the 3 stars goes toward the staff and manager Andrew. They told me over and over that they offer shuttle service to and from golfing and their restaurant which is less thank half a mile away. Walking distance. When I called for them to pick me up, the girl at the restaurant never got a hold of someone so I waited. When I went back she's like no one answered and I said well were you ever going to tell me? She calls again 3x no answer. I call with my phone some guy answers. Said that someone from the restaurant needed to call. I pass the girl the phone. I hear him tell her we are busy and can't pick anyone up. He was on speaker. She noticed he was being unprofessional and she took it out of speaker. Get back and talk to a manager Andrew to tell him the experience. He basically sweeps it under the rug and said he was the only one there and he didn't answer the call. Other reason for low rating is the wait time in the counter. Seems like There's a lot of people in the back but only one person helping. People had to wait for bikes and check in checkout. It was a bit of a cluster. Overall nice stay. The cleaners and maintenance crew were super nice and friendly. Worth the money paid for the experience and the amenities.
