We had smashburger here although it was tasty it was a bit pricey but as expected at a resort. Coming on a Tuesday it was very relaxed at the pool and nice to hang out without it being jam packed. We made reservations at Tierra Y Mar for the 16th but unfortunately early morning I received a email cancelling our birthday dinner due to maintenance which was pretty upsetting so we drove back down to San Diego for our birthday. Besides our reservations being cancelled unexpectedly everything went really smooth here at Harrahs and I look forward to coming back soon.

The casino floor is split into designated smoking and non-smoking sections, which makes moving around comfortable for everyone. They also have convenient complimentary drink stations throughout the floor for quick refills. As for dining, we've eaten at almost all of their spots. From quick bites to sit-down meals, there's always something good to grab. Tips: Sign Up for the Players Club First: Before you sit down at a machine or head to dinner, stop by the Players Club desk. It's free to join, gets you instant match play/offers, and unlocks access to their famous Maine Lobster Buffet once you tier up. When I explained all of his training and then tasks they said he was not "acting like a service dog" and they said they watched footage of us waiting for a minute while they were coming and that he was "pulling on his lead" and "not patting attention" I said I take an accusation like this very seriously and that if they are truly claiming that I want all of this is writing and documentation of him "not acting like a service dog" as well as that video evidence of him not acting like a service dog. I then unfortunately had an episode due to the drama of it all to which my dog tasked and my husband stepped up and took over. They then realized they had messed up, changed their mind and said "we will allow it just this time" Absolutely ridiculous. My dog has gone through extensive training, been certified through two trainers, has passed his CGC and public access and the audacity for a security guard to say he wasn't acting like a service dog because he wasn't looking up at me every single second is ridiculous. They are not robots, he can get stepped on if not careful, he checks in every 10-15 seconds and alerts just fine. They would not show us footage of him "not acting like a service dog" which makes me think they were just lying to try and not allow us entry. I'm only writing this review so others don't feel absolutely awful since the valley view security treats people as the service dog police. I understand people abuse and lie about service animals, but it was quite obvious my dog is trained. To be questioned like a that was awful and just sad. Just be for warned you're going to be questioned like a criminal and may or may not be allowed entry with a service animal.

This guy knows his stuff--he makes a dynamite Bloody Mary that's easily one of the best I've had. Perfectly balanced, just the right amount of kick, and garnished like a pro. But what really makes Casey stand out is the way he handles the crowd. Whether it's a packed bar or a quiet afternoon, he knows how to read the room, connect with people, and make everyone feel welcome. You can tell he's a total professional but also genuinely enjoys what he does. Friendly, fast, and knows how to pour a drink--what more could you ask for? Harrah's is lucky to have him. Casino Pauma is one of the many casinos in the area! There are a couple of things to know before…read morevisiting. It's one of the smaller casinos, it does not have a hotel, and it has a variety of dining options. Also, yes, this casino does smell like cigarettes inside, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to smoke. During my multiple visits to Casino Pauma, I've noticed that quite a few slot machines are broken, out of order, or have buttons that don't respond when pressed. That can definitely be frustrating. However, I will say that they have some great promotions, and they also offer live shows and entertainment! They send you free play in the mail after each visit when you lose, and you get $20 in food when you sign up for a Players Card. They do not tier match. I've also attended one of their drawings for a brand-new Ford Mustang, which was pretty fun. They regularly have live music and shows as well. And yes, the machines do pay out sometimes! They have a very small table-games pit with just a couple of tables. They offer $5 blackjack, which is nice if you're looking for a cheaper table game. There is no poker room. They also have a very small high-limit room, but it's machines only -- no high-limit tables. I've noticed that a lot of the machines are on the older side, but they do have some of the latest and more popular games. The casino can get pretty crowded on some nights, so be prepared to wait for a machine. There's also an open bar where they sometimes have live music, along with a small dance floor. I've noticed that Casino Pauma really does try to offer its guests a lot of fun promotions, events, and entertainment, which I appreciate. If you're in the area, I'd definitely give it a try and test your luck. Keep in mind that the casino is located in Pauma Valley off Highway 76, so it's somewhat off the beaten path. However, it's located between Pala Casino and Harrah's Resort Southern California, so if you get tired of Casino Pauma, you have other casino options just down the road. The food is good and the service is decent. Sometimes security can be a little annoying and may ask you to identify yourself. When they do, they'll bring you to the front desk, but they won't watch your machine for you while you're gone. Overall, Casino Pauma definitely has its issues, especially with some of the older and broken machines, but they offer a lot of good promotions and entertainment. I'll definitely keep coming back since I live in the area!

The front desk welcomes you and goes over the layout of the resort very well as it's very big! They also offered a golf cart tour. The amenities are great and the restaurant Ponto Lago was amazing. They have a 4 course dining options for $60 during restaurant week. I highly recommend recommend visiting the Resort and restaurant as its worth the visit!

On May 15, 2026, what should have been a relaxing dinner at Ember & Rye at Park Hyatt Aviara became…read morean incredibly upsetting experience. My husband had just finished working six consecutive shifts at the fire department, and we were simply looking forward to a nice evening together. As we entered the parking lot, two men in a golf cart crossed in front of our vehicle. My husband honked, and there was later a brief verbal exchange about what had happened. There were no threats or physical confrontation from us, and we believed the matter was over. Later, while we were still seated at our dinner table, a woman we had never met approached us and began questioning us about the parking-lot interaction. She told us that she and her husband were club members, repeatedly referenced their membership, said she had never seen us there before, and told us she "didn't want any problems in the future." I cannot speak to what she intended, but the encounter made both of us feel intimidated, unwelcome, and extremely uncomfortable. We later learned that an Aviara Country Club member event was being held at the restaurant that evening. After dinner, we discovered that our vehicle had been extensively damaged while parked on the property. Carlsbad Police investigated, and surveillance footage from the property documented what occurred. An individual associated with the earlier parking-lot encounter became the alleged suspect during the investigation. Our vehicle ultimately sustained nearly $15,000 in repair costs. I am intentionally not identifying anyone or making any statement about guilt. I am simply describing what my husband and I experienced that evening. What has disappointed us most is Park Hyatt Aviara's response afterward. I personally contacted hotel management and was told that Hyatt was cooperating with police, which we appreciated. We were also told that someone from Aviara Golf Club management would contact us to discuss what happened. That call never came. I understand that a hotel cannot control the actions of every person on its property, and I am not assigning legal responsibility to Hyatt. My concern is how we were treated as guests after such a serious and disturbing experience. We experienced an uncomfortable confrontation during dinner, left to discover nearly $15,000 in damage to our vehicle, and had to involve law enforcement. Yet we never felt the level of concern, communication, or follow-through we expected from a five-star property. That is what has been most disappointing. We chose Park Hyatt Aviara because we expected exceptional hospitality and guest care consistent with the Park Hyatt name. Instead, we left feeling uncomfortable, unsupported, and profoundly disappointed. I sincerely hope Park Hyatt Aviara considers how guests are cared for when something goes seriously wrong during their visit.

They made an error on their schedule which resulted in me having tickets on two different dates of the same event. Rather than send an email, they personally called me and gave me options that quickly resolved the issue! Although we've been guests at Welk's Theater for just over a year, I sure wish I had known about them sooner...

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing from start to finish…read more Check-in was advertised for 4:00 p.m., but we didn't get our room until nearly 8:30 p.m., costing us hours of the vacation we paid for. Throughout our stay, we requested basic necessities like fresh towels and soap refills, but they never arrived despite multiple requests. On checkout day, housekeeping walked into our room at 9:00 a.m., a full hour before the 10:00 a.m. checkout, while we were still getting dressed. Our privacy was completely disregarded. I was also repeatedly singled out because of my service dog. Multiple employees yelled, "You better clean up after your dog," even though I was visibly carrying waste bags and had done nothing wrong. It was humiliating and showed a lack of training on how to appropriately interact with guests who use service animals. To make matters worse, I unexpectedly started my period and needed pads before the gift shop opened. Because the resort had no way to help and the trams were so unreliable, I had to walk all the way down the steep hill just to get basic hygiene supplies. For a resort of this size, that level of guest support is unacceptable. The most concerning part of our stay was the Russian tortoise in the kids' center. I am the founder of The Wise Frog Reptile Rescue and have spent more than 11 years rescuing and rehabilitating reptiles. The tortoise appeared to lack proper UVB and heat, and its shell was in alarming condition. I brought my concerns to staff, but they showed little interest in addressing them. My children were heartbroken because they immediately recognized the animal appeared to be in distress. An animal should never be displayed for children if its welfare is being overlooked. Between the delayed check-in, ignored requests, lack of privacy, treatment over my service dog, unreliable transportation, and concerns about animal welfare, this resort fell far short of the experience we expected. I hope management takes these issues seriously and makes meaningful changes for both guests and the animals in their care

We like to rotate our monthly moto events & all of these years, have never done a winery location…read more Many things come into factor for motorcycles- one being a spacious paved parking lot. You will get two different parking lots here. Just keep in mind, Bella Marie does host campers & trailers to use the parking lot, overnight. Luckily when we booked our date/ time for the event- some of our bikes arrived half an hour earlier of opening time & this gave us time to scope out the parking situation. We were luckily enough to get the spots we wanted. My friend & I came to Bella Marie about 6 weeks prior to our event date to check out the grounds & see what Bella Marie offered guests. The upper parking lot, adjacent to the retail store & restroom is also where we reserved our event location. The store offers pre made picnic baskets, a wide selection of mini charcuterie kits, & sundries. Bottled water, juices, etc. We booked for 10 people & we're told it'd be a $50 deposit & that specific group size would need to purchase 6 bottles. On the day of our event, our $50 deposit would be applied to 2 bottles of wine. We kept our price range on the lower price end, for the group. We were told on the day of our booking- outside food is also allowed. Which is very convenient for guests, since there is no kitchen serving meals. I believe this is such a great idea, which would make me return to just another event. On the day of our event, we had less than 10 gals (including me). And two of our guests purchased a flight of wine each. Another of our gals made it very clear she didn't care for wine - but, wanted to buy her mother a bottle. But, this friend was also at the counter helping us decide which bottles to choose for our group. She was a fan of Aprepos and actually bought a bottle for herself! LOL. Ice is also available to cool down your glass of wi Aprepos & Meowvasia were popular amongst our group. Location is close to i -15.

Lol. Okay. We just sat our things on the concrete under the umbrella hoping it wouldn't be long and enjoyed the pool. After checking a couple times and our encounter with the OTHER, older front desk lady; our room was ready at 4. That's check in time. The room was large and pretty nice; we did notice the floors were a bit "damp". The little patio with the chairs and view, very nice. We were able to hear the live music coming from marina bar as we were sitting outside of our room taking in the view. We took out a paddle boat that was complimentary at check in. The lake itself is very nice, pretty peaceful considering it sits smack-dab in the middle of a neighborhood. What makes my review a 3.8 isnt the accommodation. Recommended. Its front desk staff, in particular the second one i mentioned. She should enjoy her job more.

Upon arrival, we noticed chips and debris left on the carpet, which immediately suggested that the room had not been thoroughly vacuumed or properly inspected before check-in. In the bathroom, there was a woman's hair left in the shower, and some of the towels did not appear as fresh and clean as one would expect from a resort-level property. When staying at an upscale hotel or resort, cleanliness should be seamless and unquestionable. Guests should not have to inspect the carpet, shower, or towels and wonder whether the room was fully serviced before their arrival. Those details are fundamental to the overall guest experience. The property itself has many appealing qualities, but the housekeeping shortcomings significantly affected our impression of the stay. At this price point and level of presentation, I expected far greater attention to detail and a stronger quality-control process before rooms are released to guests. With more consistent housekeeping and room inspections, Lakehouse Resort could provide the experience its setting and branding suggest. Unfortunately, our room did not meet that standard.
