I chose Oakland Vision Center for several reasons, so I made an appointment. When I walked in the office I saw the office staff were helping one elderly lady. They were helping her with kindness, just like they would do for their grandmother. I was answering questions as a new customer when the phone rang. She answered the phone and asked them to hold on while continuing to helping me. Then soon after, one worker came out from back and asked her to help the person on the phone, and she took the tablet to continue filling out the form for me. They work together to provide the best possible service for all their customers. When I was selecting a frame for my glasses, one lady helped me find the frame I was looking for. Quick check in, no questions asked since I just answered them before my prior appointment. There was no wait to see the doctor, and Dr. Zurla was very pleasant. During this appointment, she explained the new features of the new hearing aids, and made sure that they were a fit, and didn't need adjusting. Although if i did it is normal to need adjusting after getting a new pair. She also was patient with the hearing test and everything. Also before this appointment, My ENT and her communicated, and quite quickly and effectively too. Since we are moving out of state, she also took care of us and made sure we had the proper paperwork for the new audiologist. Apointment went well and very pleasantly. We googled our area and saw reviews for hudson valley audiology and decided to give them a try. We were able to get an appointment within 3 days and we were new patients upon arrival the office is nice clean well lit and doesn't have that usual feel of waiting in a doctors office. All the staff we encountered were amazing friendly and kind to us. The location is in Nanuet, very centrally located for anyplace in Rockland and has plenty of parking. The office is spotless and uses all the covid procedures. Dr. Stoklosa was very patient and thorough in the examination and explained everything step by step. I was offered several levels of hearing aids to fit my needs and my budgets and they were ordered and arrived within a week. I am now wearing them and the change in my hearing is amazing.
