Been going there for YEARS... highly recommend! They've been seeing my entire family and even saw my children when they were only months old- now they are 12 1/2 and have NEVER had an earache... I attribute this to the regular adjustments they've had from Dr Dave, and Dr Haley! I have MS and on one occasion, I woke and was barely able to walk. It was extremely painful. Dr. Dave, who is always very caring, adjusted me... it was miraculous! By the end of the adjustment, I was able to walk... the pain was far less than when I came in. I was not 100% right away but the difference was day and night! I saw him again, later that day (no additional charge) for an additional adjustment. The practitioners and staff at VNH are truly gifted with making one feel understood and cared for with their knowledge and approach towards individually assessing and treating their clients. In 2016, I was diagnosed with post-concussion syndrome after a fall, which has since left me with many lingering and often overwhelming symptoms. Years of doctor visits, which included: neurologists, orthopedics, physical therapists, optometrists, tmj doctors and ENT'S, left me with virtually no resources for healing and little hope. I was either told that I would have to learn to deal with my symptoms for the rest of my life or was recommended unnecessary prescription medications, which were not actually addressing the root cause of my symptoms. At my first appointment with Dr. Hailey and Dr. Dave, I presented with a tremor in my neck, pain and stiffness in my upper cervical spine, ear pressure, tinnitus, declining/blurry vision, light sensitivity, nystagmus, debilitating migraines (including aura), tmj pain, vertigo, and shortness of breath- due to the way that my spine had shifted. Cognitive symptoms- including brain fog and a multitude of comprehensive and sensory issues. I will never forget when I first met with the team at VNH and after listening to my case, they explained that in time, they believed they could help me with many of my symptoms. At the first adjustment, Dr. Hailey did a maneuver to my ribs and asked me to take a breath. For the first time in years, I was able to take a normal, full breath and my whole body completely relaxed. I had tears in my eyes during that moment, (as I do now writing this) because for the first time, I had hope that maybe with the right guidance, my body could actually begin to heal. Since that moment, Dr. Dave, Dr. Hailey, Dr. Troy, and Linda have all been instrumental with patiently guiding my body in the right direction towards a much better version then when I first entered. Within a few weeks, my migraines and vertigo completely went away, as well as the tremor in my neck. I am able to go into brightly-lit stores for longer periods of time and my sleeping and cognition issues have improved immensely. My body is still in a state of healing, as there are many components to the injury which are being addressed, but VNH was the catalyst, which pushed me to find alternative treatments towards approaching & understanding the array of symptoms that have presented from the fall. I entered into Valley Natural Health as a brand new, first time mom in chronic pain. I had been suffering from post concussion syndrome and an acute neck herniation for 3 years, and doing everything in my power to heal. From physical therapy, diet changes, multiple therapies at both the Kessler Institute and the NYU Langone Concussion Center, I made progress, but it was never enough. I lost who I was. The once super active, fun-loving, funny, happy person was gone. There was not a single moment in 3 whole years that I experienced headache free. From the minute I woke to the minute I slept, my ears were ringing loudly and my headache was intense. I even felt it in my sleep.
