They charged me $105 for 35 minutes of "labor" and told me my subs were blown and that they needed to redo my whole sound system (Upwards of $600). I told them no thanks so they just threw my subs back in the backseat without rewiring them and also stripped a screw on my amp. I ended up finding the issue myself which was just a disconnection in the wiring under my carpet. Do not go here Unless you like wasting time and money.

I've been coming to this place for the past 4-5 years. Since I was a young jit some would say. Over…read morethe course of those years I've watched the service change drastically. From giving me pointers and tips to some discounts and making connections to having anything and everything behind a paywall. These guys don't actually care about the customer anymore and it's a shame. I went in today to warranty my subs but before I did I called like any reasonable person would. They tried to schedule me for a meet and I would be out of a vehicle for just a warranty check up. Which stated in the website of custom sounds it says " immediate replacement or repair" for the warranty. So instead I came in and behold they got me in. Now keep in mind I came in with a blown subwoofer. At the start they said I had no power no nothing. Then I pressed them about it. Magically it starts to work. Then magically my output wasn't working. So I went Checked it myself and found my cables I have connected to my back sub for an RCA was pull out of the lining I stashed it in. They went all up and down about how my Amp was blown and my subs were okay and how the voltage on the subs were good and the amp were bad ect. I'm not an amateur I checked them myself before coming in. So played along and said I might consider the amp but kept pressing them about the situation and how weird it all was to me. They wouldn't honor my warranty and instead tried to sell me on a new 300$ amp a diagnostic fee 150$ and an instal 100 or so $. I've already spent 1300-1400 on the set up itself like I always do. I'm not spending anymore or losing anytime with my daily. I honestly am disappointed in the situation. I tried asking the tech certain questions like usually have in the past and he kept telling me he can't know unless he runs a " diagnosis" meaning he doesn't give a Fuck unless he gets paid which I get to an extent. But when i left my subs were moving again still blown even tho they told me otherwise and my amp was running a steady Voltage and my subs weren't. I was going so crazy about this situation I went and bought a NEW Multi reader to make sure mine wasn't broken and got the same results I got before I went in and they weren't the same screwed versions of what they told me. That'll be the last and very last day I'll ever come back to custom sounds unless they honor my warranty and replace my subs like I've asked. And maybe I am wrong and it's all true but even then don't come to me saying this that and this is broken when I check and fix what they either accidentally didn't put back or on purpose regardless don't come to your customers with a bunch of fixable nonsense and keep it real instead of trying to sell everything under the sun to fill your flat rate pay.

Any speakers etc figure $750 per. No thanks. Found Audio Ace. Wow! Less than $1,500 and my Cruiser has a great Sony head unit, all new speakers, and a rear view camera. Pro and clean install. I called them and told them they refused to pay me back they wanted to do work for free instead and the owner the front desk woman gaslighted me by blaming me I'm not sure how that was gonna work out in her head. Took them to court I won hands down but of course he had to keep dragging it out so he can wait to pay me. That man had since February of 2023 the judge gave him 2 months to pay me and he still won't. Besides the fact that they're ignoring me not acknowledging any of the communications. What a terrible business.
