Even though I went in for a security system and walked out with a different one, they get an A for effort. I'm waiting on parts for an installation and they're working very hard to get it done in time for my trip. They've been professional and they've installed alarm systems in my other vehicles. When they really shine is when you are having difficulties with your installed equipment, I've always been able to swing by without an appointment and they take care of it. So give them a try. Make sure you look over your paperwork and understand everything. If you are uncomfortable with your purchase, don't purchase it. I try to keep all my business local. A little bummed though. I needed to learn how to use my unit but when I went in the business that sold me the unit, he didn't know how to operate it but when he came to the car he appeared to know what he was doing. I'm assuming because I asked a lot of questions. So now I'm not so sure they can handle the technical difficulties if they come up. A store should understand the equipment they're carrying. So I'm still unsure if they're just installers and no nothing about equipment or ??? They're excellent with alarm equipment, not so sure on the GPS equipment. read more

GREAT experience...and I read those 'negative' reviews! All staff knowledgeable at their levels and 'creative' to boot! They did what it took to get MY system up 'n running...which, btw, sounds astounding! Saw buncha people come in and ALL were greeted quickly w/ respect 'n eye-to-eye, no haughty condescension whatsoever. (You can get that elsewhere!) Needs expressed were assessed, addressed directly and appropriately according to understanding of inquirer's knowledge. (Pretty sophisticated in my book, no 'cookie-cutter' attitude here...manager's approach only comes w/ experience!...think 'bout it, how rare is that anymore?) I highly (obviously) recommend this shop...they've been here for awhile and could 'cruise' (as most of us do past their shop) but don't!! They've stayed fresh 'n will get done what you need done for your in-car audio-visual needs/ desired experience! Avoid this place they will rip you off, I spent $2000 plus tax and warranty and the manager of the place food was very rude all He cares about is taking peoples money and installing random cheap stuff that you didn't ask for in your car and I asked him to take the random cheap door speakers out that he installed out of the car and he refused so it turned into an argument he's nothing but a lazy piece of shit that only cares about ripping you off, taking your money, leaving all the trash in your vehicle,he broke the inside of my door handle and overchargEd me for cheap items because with $2000 they should sound perfect or at least close to perfect but no they sound like a 150 dollar set up they need to fire that fat piece of shit so the place can have better reviews so I suggest you to stay away from this place otherwise you will regret it trust me because I sure the hell do read more

These 4 and 5 star reviews are bogus. I've read through all the reviews and the bad ones are the most accurate. If you take your business here after you've read these reviews then you deserve to get screwed. And that's what they will do. I wasn't even going to post a review but as time goes on it's just too much to not say something. DO NOT DO IT. I'M TELLING YOU DO NOT. You'd be better off going to Albuquerque or another place here in Santa Fe. High pressure on the upsell. If you question them about anything you are labeled a problem customer. On the first of June I had a replacement radio and a rear view camera installed in my Murano. I had come in two weeks earlier to see if my radio could be repaired and/or the cost of putting in a replacement. Chris Ortiz, at the Audio Express on Cerrillos Rd., in Santa Fe, examined my car, and then showed by the options that were available. I had a new radio system installed together with a rear-view camera, all of which met my needs. All performed as promised and the cost was as quoted. Moreover Chris and his technician went over the operation of the radio and remained available if I had any follow-up questions. Got a great audio system from Mike (Food to his friends). Even checked with us a few weeks later to see that all was working perfectly.

They constantly have crackheads standing outside their location. Screw that. Im not going in there.

I cannot recommend Audio Express. Poor quality merchandise. I WILL NOT return.
