I have been doing business with Audio Concepts since the 90's. Most recently I purchased a Rega Planar 2 turntable. Jeff had it all set up and ready to go before I even got there to pick it up. What's most important to me about AC is their attention to the needs of their clients. I've been wanting to get some new equipment for about two years now, but because I have limited funds, it took a long time and several changes of mind about exactly what to buy before I made my purchase. During that whole time , I was never pressured, never rushed, never given the hard sell. And during the wait time , I was treated as though I was a top dollar customer whenever I would attend events at the shop. Jeff, Landon, Mark and all the staff are 100 per cent knowledgeable and guided me through all my changes of mind and delays with complete professionalism and care. This is a high end audio store. They represent quality brands that have been in business a long time and can put systems together from inexpensive to very expensive. The equipment will work well together and they will set up in your home. If there are issues down the road they are very responsive to their customers. I was visiting from Austin and wanted to listen to the Magnepan 3.7's and the Vandersteens. I called three hours ahead of time. I listened to the Vandersteens and wanted to listen to the Magnepans, to which I was told that it would take 30 minutes to rewire banana plugs. The entire time I got this attitude that my money was no good here. It became increasingly annoying to the point that even my friend said something to me and wanted to leave. It annoyed me to the point that I called on the way back to Austin and asked to speak to a manager. I explained the experience to him, to which his response was this very facetiously toned "I'm sorry you had that experience and felt that way." My response was "you don't really sound sorry, so I think I can take my money elsewhere." Update. Filing a complaint with Vandersteen. Also "Mark" the manager I spoke to is the owner. I have no idea what kind of owner of a business runs a customer service department this way. Sad thing, really, really liked the Vandersteens. Was close to writing a check despite attending Rocky Mountain audio fest in October. Never been treated worse in an audio store in my life. read more

Terrible customer service. Called in for basic estimates and the person who answered the phone assumed I could not spend money and literally told me he did not have anything that would work for me. Little does he know, we are about to spend 50k on a speaker system for our home under contruction right now. HUGE mistake. Dont go here. read more

Probably my favorite store in Dallas. They allowed me to demo their high-end headphones amp/dacs , so I bought it from them, and will likely be back. No complaints, cool st Update: Went to a similar store with similar products in San Francisco and the SF store had some rude customer service, makes me wish I could go back to this store instead. read more

I've been buying from Audi Concepts for the last 5 years. A very knowledgeable group of guys that understands the products. Very friendly, I highly recommend Jorge I never met someone who can open your mind to new artist with a detailed explanation of who they are what the song is about. I've bought speakers from all over the world and owned many brands I can't name all of them but I know I've owned over 103 pairs of speakers in 21 years and it's been a exciting journey. Jorge is very passionate about audio and not only him but the all the guys here share the passion a thing that is lost in most dealers over the years. I hope they continue what they do cause the big brand stores are buying out the small dealers and the level of expertise in big stores are non existent. All in all a good place to audition audio equipment but in general the associates as well as Mark the manager just seem very snobbish. I'd avoid this place if you are blue collar or just not pretentious in general. Dropping 10k will probably have them laughing behind your back. It's crazy because this is a box store but they act like a west coast trendy boutique. Most any place I have auditioned audio equipment within the last 25 years have at least a 14 day in home auditioning period for satisfaction, not this place. Once you leave you own it. Just beware that your room will most likely sound very different than an audio listening room. Basically the experience was comparable to dealing with a pretentious used car salesman with the only plus being selection. There is comparable selection elsewhere however so I'll choose to do my business elsewhere in the future. read more

I spent the second half of 2015 listening to speakers nearly everywhere in Dallas. Lucky for me I started at Audio Concepts, with John Warwick, and that's where I finished several months later. The foundation of their excellence is the superiority of their products. The sell the best electronics and speakers you can buy, a subjective statement, to be sure, but nobody can argue that Wilson and Audio Research and Rega and ProAc and McIntosh aren't elite brands in high-end audio. Their next advantage, almost as important, is outstanding customer service at every step. When John first played speakers and an integrated amp for me, he answered an endless series of questions with patience and clear expertise. I visited two more times before I made a decision, all the while testing speakers and amplifiers around the metroplex. I never met another audio pro in Dallas who matched John's breadth of knowledge and experience, combined with sincere enthusiasm for his products. This was a no-pressure sales approach that worked like a charm; John was content to remain in contact via email, my preference, without a single unsolicited phone call to tell me about this discount or that price reduction. When I did call, John either came to the phone instantly or returned the call in an hour or less. When I finally handed over my credit card for new speakers and electronics, the delivery and setup in my home went flawlessly, all handled by John as well, and the system sounds incredible. He spent six hours with my room, connecting components and adjusting the speakers to sound amazing (even as they 'break in') in a challenging room. These things aren't toys. Before I made my decision, I considered how a relationship with experts like John and his colleagues at Audio Concepts would prove invaluable when time comes for an upgrade or to add or trade components. John knows my system, the room, and my particular tastes in music and musical reproduction. In a few weeks, I intend to ask him about turntables and cartridges, and I have no doubt his ideas will be outstanding. After a few visits to listen, I'll have vinyl spinning happily into the new year. read more

They helped me pick out a new pair of headphones to suit my needs. I didn't feel like they were trying to oversell me something that I didn't need. I believe the salesperson who helped me was Logan. He was very helpful and explained what the difference in models were. I wasn't sure whether I was going to buy anything, but after being able to sit down and listen to the headphones, it was an easy decision to buy that day.
