I previously had a good experience with the sales team here, but I feel like I need to post an update now that they're spamming me with text messages to try to get me to come in and buy another car, especially since my positive review was predicated on this place having a nice experience and not delivering the usual high-pressure sales tactics that most dealerships engage in. This place even spams from different numbers so that blocking a single number doesn't stop the spam. If I knew that I'd be signing up for a lifetime of text message spam by buying a car here, I probably would've shopped elsewhere. This is a genuine honest warning and to let you folks know to not to fall for these guys scams as they tried to pull on us me and my wife!! My wife and I were interested in one of these Audi Richmond dealers cars in Richmond, BC this is what happened, . First of all; 1- Their salesperson Wilson had no clue and no knowledge about the car he was showing us, he did not even know how the AC worked and we've figured it out ourselves. 2- Wilson and his manager Jacky tried to rip us off by selling the car to us for $39,997 while the car was advertised in the sites, Autotrader, marketplace as well as CarGuru web site for $36,997 3- The manager did not want to negotiate the car price for he said he will talk to the warranty finance department to give us a good deal, but we found out that he lied to our faces three times and he has never talked to the finance department nor the warranty guy named Jerry. 3- The car has an airbag recall issue. This might be a simple issue but who would be happy to buy an over $42,000 car then take it to get it fixed right after buying it?? not a happy sense and rather unarguably disappointing. 4_ their sales manager, Jacky told us that they have not sold a car for a long time, now go figure and we wonder why. Unfortunately I didn't screenshot the response Audi gave me on google review but they said some pretty ridiculous things such as I would say it's super unprofessional of you to say I was "stomping my feet in the show room" as I didn't get up from the chair and all I said was "throw in the mats and it's a done deal" otherwise I would take my chances to go look at the other possible Audi at the Vancouver location... with the salesman who was willing to throw in the mats no problem. Clearly it shouldn't have taken as long as it did considering the nice manger who politely introduced himself the first day I came in threw them in instantly. Secondly I don't know why the business manger being busy has anything to do with why I had to wait a half hour for paperwork when I should have been told the paperwork starts at 5 not the car is ready at 5. My husband bought Q5 that had all the upscale features (panoramic sunroof, rear-view camera, heats seats, fancy interior) last year. We had to call them for fixing the brake that made squeezy noise! I took it back for service and asked them to fix it. The techican said, it's the way and only could cleaned up the brake reguraly. Plus they charge $134 per hour! Really? Kidding me! Excellent service for the 4th time at Audi. Richmond, BC ! (Ask for Cam.) i scheduled an appt due to warnings on my dashboard about rear tail lights. Turns out that there was also a rear crack that was allowing water to enter. Fortunately, the replacement part WAS in stock. As an aside, I asked Cam for suggestions about some scratches on the rear right corner. He gave me some excellent suggestions. While my car was serviced, I relaxed up on the 2nd floor in a comfortable pod with a desk and foot rest. The complimentary coffee from the slick dispenser is surprisingly good! My family and I visited this dealership on August 29, 2019. We were hoping to try Audi out. My previous vehicle was a BMW. We were obviously looking for a safe car. The salesman, Aelred, sold us the brand new S3 2019. It was a $57k car. Not a cheap vehicle so you expect it would be safe and last for years. Long story short, my sister and I went on a road trip with the new S3 on December 16, 2019. We were on the way to Seattle. I felt like there was an imbalance between the front tires, so I pulled over on Hwy 99. There was no signal on the dashboard. The front right tire DISAPPEARED!!! We immediately called roadside assistance and waited for 90 minutes on the highway right outside the car. There was no Emergency Hazard Sign inside the trunk. I contacted the salesman, he simply told me that it doesn't come with the Emergency Hazard Sign. We had to stand in the rain. After the roadside assistance came and changed the tire, we had to go to the dealership to check all the tires. So we arrived at the dealership after being in the rain for so long and being so frustrated with the whole situation, the first reaction we received was the laughter from the receptionist. We were trying to ask for help, but they laughed at us. Later, we finally received help from the Service Department. He told us this $57k car doesn't come with a tire-pressure monitoring system. I was actually shocked. I thought it was such a basic component. I asked the salesman about the TPMS. The first thing he said was it's hard for him to tell me what comes with the car and what doesn't come with it. An attitude like that pissed me off the most. They just want to sell you the car without telling you how unsafe this car could be! Also, this vehicle went forward twice when it was in Reverse. Of course again, they couldn't figure out why it happened and claimed that the car was perfectly safe. At the end, I traded in this car and went to Mercedes. Fun fact: every single Mercedes car comes with TPMS as well as run-flat tires. Audi, it's 2020! Please step up your game! read more

Was in the midst of working a deal with another local dealership when I found they had the same vehicle but with slightly lower mileage and same price I inquired got quick responses however got an absolutely ridiculous low ball trade in offer they must think everyone is an idiot even though I had already mentioned I had offers on my trade in they offered HALF! $16000 was the offer I relieved from the first dealership and they offered me $8000 don't waste your time with these guys and make sure you shop around don't be played! I was a serious buyer and now I'm going to the other dealer. UPDATE : in response to your response no, $8000 is not accurate market value unless you're saying black book value is over quoting the vehicle by nearly double sorry but I have more faith in them. I had a great initial experience here at Audi Richmond. Usually I go to another dealership for service because it's close to my office. But back in early December 2017, I had an urgent matter need to be resolved quickly. I dropped in first thing in the morning and the service advisor, Vic, greeted me as I walked towards the service dept. Told him my situation and within 45 mins I was on my way. Excellent customer service. Recommended. The dealership building is new and much larger than the previous building which has now been torn down. Inside is very modern and has two floors. Worst launch ever.. If not for the awesome food, this review will be for ZERO stars.. Good.. Catered food by Railway Catering Bad.. Music.. First it was scratching speaker white noise, then someone figured out the sound and decided to put on Rave Club Electric Music.. Annoying repetitive sound Bad.. Sales people hovering and circling but not approaching you to even say Hello.. Took someone 40 minutes to come say Hi Bad.. As much as the bartender try, he is just too slow. If you are just offering drinks sans alcohol, have the mix ready yo go and pour.. No point fussing with the martini shaker where there is no alcohol We waited for almost an hour to see the 2 cars under the cloth, that's all there is.. For Show only as it's the European Model, and any new A3 ordered wouldn't be exact, especially the seats. No extra entertainment. We bought a brand new Audi Q5 and paid in full. In evening of the transaction day, they made us wait and then rushed us into signing the papers. The next day we noticed it had 438km driven while the contract stated 90km. Contacted the dealer Tim who said it was due to transportation and was normal. Met the manager Eric who claimed he did not know whether it was a display or demo car or how it was driven. He said they had no control over the car condition when transferred from Far East and that it was still legally defined as new. He originally offered $0.15/km compensation per lease arrangement, which was irrelevant to us. In the end he offered us a discount of $2,000. 1) They treat us unfairly that they do not disclose and reflect on contract the condition of the car. 2) As a luxury brand, they fail to deliver value which we can afford and willing to pay for. 3) They make no guarantee of the quality and fail to deliver what they promise to sell, an ideal new car, to our satisfaction. read more

I ordered a custom S5 back in 2014 and I thought to myself, luxury car will get me amazing fun and luxury service. bleh... Sales, Service, and care for customers is so bad that I had to write a letter to Audi Canada's president to see if anyone would actually take care of their customer... the rest is tbd. In summary, be careful if you decide to deal with them anyway, here's the five bullets of my letter. The whole thing would take 2 pages to explain. - Custom S5 delivered with four months delay - Custom S5 not delivered with promised features - Service team seems to do trial-n-error diagnostic Cheers Edit 1: this is a joke. Now their head of operation Steve Jarrold called to apologize, but hides behind the same excuses and still are not fixing/offering anything. Edit 2: So David, their sales manager, met with me with a clear intension to resolve things and to make me an happy customer again. Which worked. I have to give it to him, once he took matters in his own hands, things got done quick and nice. So the level of service and customer care I recieve from his sales team ended up to very good. Also, after my letter to Audi Canada President, his office called me within the same week. We'll speak next week to discuss this further. They are very responsive and I feel that they care. I think it comes donw to customer experience and expectations a company creates when you buy and use their product. David's and his team understand that. Audi Canada understands that. Dropped by to test drive the 2012 A4 sedan and to talk lease options. The saleman was pretty straight forward and easy enough to deal with. But then again, sales is sales right? The discussion was pretty much what you'd expect a pricing negotiation for a vehicle would go - select the options/colours you want, take a look at the inventory and they offer you a price and off you go haggling away. Nothing out of the ordinary; pretty much by-the-book. Got it down by $2k... but doesn't seem to want to move any further. So off I go to another dealership. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE !!!!! I just created a Yelp account to write this review, to avoid you from going this place. Unless you wanna be ripoff. I still love the car tho, it's just about their service. Alright, here's the thing. I'm leasing a 2017 Audi A4 AWD. Couple of months ago, I got my rear right tire flat, so I went Audi Richmond to fix it, because i have tire insurance. But they told me i have to replace all four tires instead of one, which, does make some sense because difference in tire thickness will cause problem, but i gotta pay $1300 for three brand new tires. Great, i thought my tire insurance would help. Here's what they told me: yeah you have the insurance, but it only covers that flat out tire, which is on the rear right side. So we will give you a new one for free, but all other three, you gotta pay them yourself, and that will cost you $1300. Oh, and if you dont change it, you gotta break the Quattro system, the gear box, the transmission, and many other stuff, NONE of them are cover by any insurance. WOW, I didn't know that the tire insurance is just a joke. But too late, i can't cancel that insurance. Oh and, they told me that my tire flat because of a really small leakage, but they still can't fix it. You know what the funny thing is? A friend of mine is working at Burnaby Openroad Audi, As a manager(sales manager i think), and i got the car from him. I asked him for advice on should I pay for those three new tires. He said: That is BullShit, you just don't go Richmond Audi, they are just all FKing scams. You just come Burnaby Audi if you need a service. So my advice is, if you like Audi, it's worth to drive to Burnaby dealership because they usually offer you cheaper price and better service. read more

Ordered vehicle mid December and was told first week in January vehicle sold as didn't finish paperwork on their end. Worst now as original interest rates have gone up and loyalty down from -2% to -1% off rates. The salesperson and manager trying to figure out a solution...for time being I will give them 2 stars. Received my brand new 2016 Audi S6 with everything I wanted and more. Management, business office personel and Daniel all greeted me extremely kindly. Bonus when doing paperwork was they included extra warranty coverage at no extra charge to me...said they felt bad for this unforseen situation. What a joke of a dealership. A deal fell through for buying a Mini JCW, so I was looking for alternatives to spend my $45k at. Was approached by a completely unprofessional looking woman wearing heavy heavy makeup, blue contacts, casual lacy short skirt, basically looked like she was going to a club. First question she asks me is if we are looking for information in a really lengthened tone as if she doesnt want to deal with me at all. I tell her I am looking into an Audi TT, A4, and maybe an A3, to see if these cars are a better match for me than a JCW. She basically just points at the S4, and S3 and thats about it. I asked her if there was any TT's and she said she only has the one TTS outside. Doesn't ask me any other questions or if I am interested, so I ask her if I can see it. Guess what? She tells me its right outside and I can go look at it. Uhhhh okay so now I ask if I can get the keys so I can check out the interior, not even a test drive. "Yeah ill grab the keys". So im checking out the car with my GF and suddenly the sales woman says that she is dealing with another customer while we are in the car. Why the hell are you helping us if you are in the middle of something with another customer. At that point we just left. Dont buy your Audi in Richmond. I had much better service in the downtown location, where are the rich people tend to shop for cars. They treated me with respect and knew I was serious about buying a car. Richmond Audi is such a joke, just disrespect, no further inquiries, and sounded like she didnt think I wanted to buy a car. If you can get the best deal buying here it might be worth buying here. After having problems with 3 Audi's I bought and had serviced here I won't be buying from this dealership and certainly would never consider using their service department. They have convinced me to move away from the Audi product after failing to deal with the issues with my last one. Make the effort to take your Audi to one of the other Audi dealers for service or be ready for weeks and months of run arounds from this one if you have issues. Re comment from dealership - not sure what emailing Steve Jerrold would do. Multiple people in the dealership were aware of this for months and refused to address it. In addition the sales manager was aware as well as the team that was going to inspect the vehicle if I bought it out and the guy that inspected it when I finally returned it rather than buying out the lease because of these issues. Right from the get-go I had a really good vibe from them and felt much more comfortable than with other dealerships. One of the most exciting, but also stressful and worst experiences you can have is car shopping. My family and I recently went through this after moving back to Vancouver. After visiting at least 7 dealerships all over town and test driving everything from SUVs to sedans, we found the perfect car... An immaculate 2010 VW Golf Wagon at Audi of Richmond. But aside from the car, what made it an easy purchase was finding Daniel De La Cruz. Daniel is professional, genuinely nice and honest... not always the words you hear when talking about car salespeople but they perfectly describe Daniel. He was patient and understanding when we first met, even though I had to cut him off mid-sentence because we only had a few minutes to test drive the car. We called Daniel that night to tell him we wanted the car and he, and the rest of the Audi of Richmond staff, showed what great teamwork and organization are all about. They had the car ready ahead of time and Daniel even personally delivered the car to our home. Needless to say, we were delighted and the car has been flawless. I figured it was quick paper signing, get the key, some basic explanation and off we go. What we got in stead was Daniel and Hiroshi put on quite a "show" which I won't go into details so that I don't ruin it for the future Audi owners. I switched to Richmond Cowell Audi as their service was 10 times better than the other dealership I was using. The service is still good however, I purchased used A4 and Audi Platinum warranty for an additional $4500. At around 80K I started burning oil. The A4 2.0 T engine was allegedly recalled in Europe for this problem but not in Canada. Even though it is the same engine and parts. The warranty would cover this but the warranty approval system sucks. I was informed that I would have to prove that all the oil changes had been preformed on the required due dates since the car was new. This was difficult as I had bought the car used. Using my previous investigation skills, from my career in law enforcement, I was able to find out that the car was originally sold in Victoria and was sold to one other person prior to me (3 owners). I was able to contact the previous owners / dealer and obtain the oil change records. This took quite a bit of effort and time and I believe that most people would not have the slightest idea of how to track information like this. Finally the extended warranty was used to cover the engine repairs. I now, at 100K, have a transmission issue that I can't get fixed. I had the car in and was told I would need to have a transmission update done for the computer system that was not covered by warranty. (apple doesn't charge your for their system updates) I paid the $200 and had this done. Still had the problem with the transmission. I took it back as it is getting worse. This time I was told I needed to pay $1200 to have the transmission fluid changed to see if that fixed the problem. I then decided that I would go through the Better Business Bureau and Audi Canada as Cowell could not do anything more for me without the warranty being approved. I was informed by Audi (VW) Canada that my original warranty has expired on my car and that "it is the consumer's responsibility to maintain their car". In the original complaint through the BBB I indicated my warranty contract number, the mileage on my car and the expiry date of my warranty all of which I am well within (1 year or 14,000 km left). After hearing back from Audi stating I that my warranty was expired I replied back to the BBB and they contacted Audi Canada again but did not heard anything further.
