They Do the Right Thing Long story short, I purchased a used car at this Dealership and prior to purchasing it, noticed a long two foot streak on the windshield. It looks like dirt from the windshield wiper blade, and when I asked about it, I was told it was dirt, and thought nothing of it. It just needs to be wiped down. But as it turns out, it was not dirt. It was a long two foot scratch in the windshield caused by the windshield wiper blade. When I realized it was a long scratch, I was understandably not happy. I called the Dealership and left a message. Shout out to Ed for calling me back on his day off and he said he wanted to earn my business and to take the car back to the Dealership for them to look at it. He told me to ask for Louis. Ed also told me in a text message that nothing had been mentioned about this to him. My girlfriend's son took the car to get it checked out. Louis and I talked later that day. Louis told me that if they try to heat up the glass to repair the damage, it would crack the windshield and he couldn't do it. I told Louis I did not spend thousands of dollars on this car for a scratched windshield. I ask for it to be repaired or replaced. I'm not trying to take advantage of the system. I'm just asking for everyone to be honest with me and fix the windshield. Had I known there was a scratch in it, I would have bought another vehicle. I was told false information. Louis told me he would escalate this situation to his Manager and that I would hear something back by Friday. On Friday, Louis kept his word and reached out to me. Louis said that his Manager had said that we need to replace the windshield. I was ecstatic to hear this information. People hear stories all of the time about Car Dealerships taking advantage of them and it is nice and refreshing to know that this Dealership takes their customers seriously and they do the right thing, even when it is difficult for them. Homework It appears the team associated with the service department is engaged in unscrupulous business practices. After being too busy to accept or respond to their calls and texts half a dozen times over a period of a month this past December. The team finally got a hold of me and indicated that my AudiCare had one oil service left in my contract. I asked the call center/service advisor "Are you sure I have one left in my package", they insisted yes and there would be no cost to me so I booked an appointment. See attached text message as evidence of this. After showing up for the booked appointment at 8.00am, I was informed that there are no oil changes left on my AudiCare contract and an oil change and inspection would be $400. I am not so upset at the cost, but the fact that it was purely a LIE to get me in. The service writer, Jaime apologized and was sympathetic but said his hands were tied and inquired if I still want the service, naturally I declined. He was kind enough to give me the business card of the service manager...its all part of the show. I am more sorry than angry that this dealership/service center chooses to engage in business this way. I feel bad for the other customers that be lured in this way. Just got an Audi and brought it here after two days of driving in it since I can't connect MyAudi app to the MMI of the vehicle. After 2 hours talking to Audi customer care, she figured out that the problem is due to the SOS light blinking red, and she told me to bring it to the nearest Audi service center. I work in Oakland so I brought it there on Tuesday morning even though I got the car at Audi Fremont. I thought this would be an easy fix since it's a new vehicle. Audi Oakland provided me a loaner saying it might take until Wednesday to get it fix. Anyway, by Friday afternoon, still no resolution, and I was told to bring it back Monday since they need to contact an Audi engineer who can't be reached on weekends. I got the vehicle on Friday night before they close since I didn't feel comfortable driving the loaner anymore. I told them I'll bring it back Monday morning. I got home and found the trunk missing the cover and all my stuff in it - see picture. Return back to Audi Oakland to get that sorted out on the weekend. What a mess, gas, electric and a whole lot of time wasted. Not giving one star since they were not the ones that gave me the Audi with a non-working SOS. This whole thing could have been prevented if Audi Fremont made sure the vehicle was in all working condition before releasing it to us. read more

I have always felt odd about the interaction but let it go for a bit because I asked for so many explanations and was assured so many times that they were taking care of me. Through detailed research, I now understand I was charged $47,153 total for a lease that others received for $21,672. Stay clear in particular of Mujib and Frank. And either don't trust Sheik or know that he is not watching how his predatory team operates. What they specifically did so you can avoid their traps: - Pushing me for $15,000 cash down, insinuating that this would get me a better financing rate, without explaining how uncommonly and outrageously high this is for a lease. - Charged $68,435 for a car with approximately $64,000 MSRP (~$4,400 markup) saying this was because the tax incentives were ending so everyone was paying more. - Put me in ultra-low 7,500 miles/year lease despite knowing I drive daily for work and kids. - Told me over and over that they were making sure to get me the best deal possible. The numbers: - My effective monthly cost: $1,310 - Market rate for identical vehicle: $602 - My loss: $25,481 over 36 months I am filing complaints with CFPB, California DMV, and BBB. I'm sharing this review so other single parents and working families don't fall victim to these tactics. I understand now that I should not have trusted their answers, even when directly questioned, and done more of my own research. I hope my mistake will help you all out. I have documentation of all charges, signed lease agreement, and third-party validation of market rates. I called, and they said there was no due bill and that everyone work there when I bought the car didn't work there anymore. It was a textbook case of judging a book by its cover. Making assumptions about a customer's financial position is a great way to lose a sale. Totally unresponsive dealership! My boyfriend bought a car from this place over 4 months ago and they STILL have not given him the title, registration or plates, even though he paid for them. He is getting tickets left and right for no parking permit in the meantime. He calls them and they say they'll get it fixed but they never do! They never return calls, they just put you in an endless loop, we are beyond frustrated and planning to take them to court at this point since they give no recourse. Two weeks ago my '23 Q5 PHEV died while I was doing 80 on I80 just past Emeryville headed to the Bay Bridge at 6:30 am. Lights flashed that I had a Transmission Malfunction and I had to coast over to the breakdown lane and be towed at 7:00 am to Audi Oakland. The receiving staff were welcoming and gracious even though it was before opening time. My service advisor, Jason Saechao, was over the top. My Q5 is 2.5 years old but has 66,000 miles, so I thought I was screwed, but Jason immediately gave me hope that the PTW would cover the repair. He cautiously suggested that he believed what the issue might be. Jason kept me informed and then three days later, surprised me with the news that she was fixed, and covered by warranty as he foretold. Palo Alto Audi is closer to San Carlos where I work, but after this experience I'd walk from Audi Oakland to work if I had to to have the same wonderful experience with the entire staff in Oakland, and especially Jason. With pending Euro tariffs, this is a troubling time for dealers like Audi Oakland, but I can attest that their service department is actually awesome. read more

I was a little hesitant to come here because of all of the negative reviews but I must say that I had the best experience ever. I drove up with no appointment and was met in the driveway by Jamie and Zee. They both greeted me with a smile and started up a pleasant conversation before asking me what was wrong with my vehicle. I explained to them that my car was in need of 4 tires. Jamie ended up taking over and walked me through everything. He showed me all of my options and I ended up settling for a set of Pirelli all-season tires and an alignment. He worked with me on the prices and said that he would send his driver to pick up a set from the warehouse down the road and to give them 3-4 hours to complete the work since I was a walk-in. I happily agreed. Two hours have gone by and I received a call from Jamie saying that my car was all done. I was so amazed and full of happiness! A shuttle driver picked me up shortly after and as we were pulling up into the dealership, I could see Jamie and Zee from a distance washing my car together. If that's not service, then I don't know what it is. These two gentlemen are top notch. They're like Batman and Robin, sorry Zee but Jamie is Batman. Do not come here! I recently purchased a vehicle here as the price was within my budget range. After purchasing, they provided me a little less than half tank of gas to go home with. They did not have the car cleaned for me to drive off the lot. I drove home to find small trash in the compartments of all four doors along with crumbs in the gaps of the seats. They did not provide me a second key stating that they will have that for me the following week. They still have not gotten back to me. Worse of all, it has been a month and I have not received a copy of the contract, there was also no temporary registration provided to me. I have attempted to contact the dealership countless time. They have been making many excuses, stating they can't do anything because a certain manager is not there or to call back as something is processing. I am very disappointed in the service they provide to their customers. This is by far the worst experience. I will not be purchasing from an Audi dealership, especially if this is their standards of customer service. Overall, this experience fell far short of my expectations. **Extremely Poor Communication & Customer Service** My experience with Audi of Oakland has been beyond frustrating. I visited the dealership specifically asking about a particular car model. Since it wasn't available, we placed an order, and I was told I'd hear back soon. Weeks went by, and there was no follow-up at all. I ended up having to reach out to them directly to check the status of my order. When I called, I was passed around to someone who had no idea about my order and kept telling me that the person I initially dealt with was out. No one else seemed capable of helping or even bothered to look into my situation. It's clear there's a severe lack of communication between employees, and that poor communication extends to customers as well. Audi of Oakland makes promises but doesn't follow through, and if they do, they don't bother keeping the customer updated. If you're thinking about buying a car here, be wary of the complete absence of follow-up. This is not the level of service you'd expect from a premium brand like Audi. Makes me never want to buy Audi. 1st time they sent me away in a loaner and asked me to fill up the car "as it was not full enough" I went to fill up in the ghetto and It was literally 1 gallon I was low. They gave me a complementary car wash for that. Next I took my Q8 in for a smelly A/C. and it was still under warranty, they said they found nothing and did nothing. Took it to a real car shop and they said my a/c was full of mildew, so no I get to pay for the repair. I also tried to get a loaner car, it took 3 days and 3 calls to be told no. Not helpful at all.
