My 2025 Audi EV developed some major electronic problems in the navigation system and MMI. I took my car to my dealer, Audi Minneapolis, to have it fixed. Due to the complexity of today's auto electronic systems, it took several days and times for the dealer to fix the problems. During this time, my service representative, Ryan Luterbach, kept me fully informed each day on the progress being made to fix the electronics problems. After the service department completed the repairs, Ryan recommended for me to wait an additional day to pick up my car so he could have the car fully road tested to make sure the repairs had been successfully made. I took his advice and the road text confirmed my car was good to go. I was very impressed with Ryan's professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail and, most of all, his goal for Audi' Minneapolis' customers to be fully satisfied with its services. read more

Never got service done anywhere else but here on my Q5 2018. Always on time, as recently as February. Guess what they didn't tell me? There was a design flaw in the sunroof drainage system that needed to be addressed on regular intervals or it causes extensive water intake and destroys the electrical components of the car during a rainstorm. Nice surprise. The kicker? They never mentioned this once during any service appointment. Now the vehicle is dead, the repair is $8000, and Audi is telling me to pound sand. FOR THEIR DESIGN FLAW. This is my first time getting my Audi serviced since moving to the twin cities. Upon arriving, everything went smoothly and was greeted warmly by the staff. My service advisor was nice and took his time collecting information, never appearing harried or too busy to be bothered. Then, my advisor escorted me to an area where I could wait, do some work, drink a coffee, whatever. The dealership is immaculately clean and spacious, so even with distancing, there were still plenty of places to sit. My car was ready on time and everything was explained to me via a video clip sent to my phone. Shortly after that, my advisor got me from the waiting area and patiently walked me through the work done and recommended future services. It was a very pleasant experience. After a high pressure sales experience, We purchased an Audi e-Tron with a final purchase price with taxes and fees of $86,486.28. We asked for assistance 2 days later stating how disappointing our experience was with this vehicle. We attempted to speak with folks in finance and sales and never could connect. So frustrating! They made us feel like we were suckers for purchasing this beautiful car that was completely unreliable. Had we had the opportunity to test it over a weekend, we never would have purchased it. We continued to have problems for months, finally got it into your shop for service and were told that your used car guys wouldnt even assess its value unless they knew what was wrong with us despite having multiple warrantees that Audi sold us. It took 3 days for a quote to come in on a vehicle we were interested in for (which is no longer available), and they finally valued the e-Tron at $48,000, a difference of $38,486.28 since 9/23/22. Was a wonderful experience at Audi Mineapolis! I had an Audi in the past and had switched to a Mercedes GLC but after a couple years in the winter really missed Audi's Quattro all wheel drive and needed more tech features for my work than what my GLC had so did some research on PHEV models and liked the idea of looking into getting a Q5 e-tron. So glad I chose Audi Mineapolis after having a bad experience at the Audi dealer in Fargo ND it was wonderful to work with Tony in sales at Audi Minneapolis! Tony was amazing, showing all the features of the Q5 e-tron including the differences between the seats in a couple different year models, which due to my back issues was very important. He also answered all my questions. After test driving a 2020 model they had on the lot with Tony I loved the way it drove so returning from the test drive he helped me get a 2021 Q5 e-tron that they had coming in. Worked with Chris for the paperwork on the car and he was great as well answering any questions and setting me up with the perfect coverage for my driving needs! I Picked up the car last Thursday and after having it for a week am so glad I went to Audi Minneapolis and switched back to Audi! I really missed the way they drive!! We went to test drive a A6 and the sales woman, Crystal, seemed extremely uninterested and practically talked us out of purchasing the car. We left with her card and found out hours later that the car was purchased online, site unseen, and would be delivered later in the week...maybe with a kickback to the saleswomen from the online car "head hunter"? The business manager (finance) was extremely pushy about their warranty product, over-inflating the price of potential repairs in a pitch for me to buy their warranty. He advised of a $13K turbo repair job that I had another Audi dealer price for me at $4,300. I have had background with cars my entire life, so I knew this was incorrect. I assume he was trying to take advantage of a single young woman buying a vehicle. He was extremely rude and pushy the entire process. Went in to trade my '21 Q7 for a new one and found out this dealer uses KBB to scam its customers out of thousands in trade value. In my case there was over 9K difference between their KBB offer and what every other source including Black Book valued the trade. I went to a reputable Audi dealer and they offered the actual trade value up-front. The big red flag for me was when they handed me the Carfax and it was missing the value page. I've had an Audi for a long time and always brought my vehicles for repair/maintenance to the dealership. Since I live close by I decided to ignore the reviews and give them a shot. Mistake. I purchased a maintenance package (they're not cheap); thought that would amount to some better service. I picked up the car which wasn't washed inside or out. The service woman was dismissive and apparently bothered that she had to work. When o saw my car wasn't even washed I asked if that was something they don't do here. I always picked up my car looking freshly cleaned. Not here and don't ask to have it done; they were put out about that as well. Two stars for at least doing the service guy doing the maintenance. I went in for an oil change. Asked if they checked the tire pressure. Kevin said of course, however the paper work didn't show anything but he was nice enough to write it in on the paperwork to cover the fact they didn't do it. I got home and checked it. Tires were at 28 psi. Recommended was 34. I could have gone to Firestone and got a better record of what actually got done. Do I dare even ask if they checked the fluids? I am on my second Audi and have had decent service in the past. This time however I called after my check engine light went on, was told they were busy, but that there was an opening on Thursday. The woman looked up my car based on my phone number as I had purchased it from their sister dealership in St Paul. I asked about a loaner and the woman said there would be one available if I brought my car in at noon on Thursday. Take time off work, arrive at the dealership only to find there was no appointment saved for me. The most I got was a "sorry about that" . This location has great staff who were extremely helpful and understanding because I've had problems with my car for the past year and a half. Unfortunately they were not able to solve the problem. I have an Audi TT and the EPC light came on back in January 2018, after taking it to multiple auto body shops who weren't able to fix it, I caved and decided to pay a little extra and take my care to the Audi dealership. They said my car needed to be completely re-wired which was pretty expensive but I was willing to pay the price to fix my car. 3mo later I'm dealing with the same light... I took it back to Audi Minneapolis who couldn't find anything wrong. Now the car is having difficulty starting and I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I had nothing but issues from purchase; from the incompetence of the finance department (you show me my worst options for financing as someone with perfect credit and created a month long license plate issue), to the incredible rudeness of Ryan in service (I'm sorry if you're overworked, but most people are...you're not doing me a favor by getting my car in for an item I paid for at purchase...), to the lazy service techs. I've been telling them for the last year the recall airbag issue was not fixed correctly. My car was in this October before I left and everything's fine they say...what do I know. To now only be in another state without a vehicle because of the recall issue not being fixed correctly in Oct 2019. Or checked again when I voiced my concern October 2020. I'm sorry but an airbag recall issue is KIND OF a big deal. Especially one that turns the airbags off completely...I get it's a misogynistic culture, but it's 2020. Listen to your female customers. I would zero star this dealership, but they have several sales members that are very smart and very kind. We purchased a car from them on May 5th and they gave us a 28 day temp plate. After day 30 of not receiving the title in the mail (we are out of state and paid for the car in full), I tried for 3 days to get ahold of someone, no one ever returned my messages. I reached out to MN DMV who advised me to file a claim with the MN Dealer Licensing & Inspections Unit. Within 10 min of filing my claim, a lady from MN Dealer Licensing & Inspections Unit responded to my message. To make a long story short, Audi did not even start to process the title but within a week and a half, I had the title overnighted to me!! Audi was wonderful with communicating when we wanted to come test drive the car and through out the buying process, but when it came to the leg work (after they had my money), they (upper management team) were non existent. Now, my teenage daughter can finally get real plates on her car instead of driving around with expired temporary plates. I will applaud Chelsey and Kim at Audi though. They were very nice and very helpful (as helpful as they could be waiting on the upper management team :( ). I will not advise this dealership to any of my friends. In November 2015, me and my wife landed in a situation where we needed to buy a car urgently. We had a limited budget and had certain things in mind for a car. I researched a bunch on Carsoup.com and created a list. We had already car shopped previous weekend and talking to car salesmen was not something we were looking forward to. However, when we ended up at Audi Minneapolis showroom, our guy David Falkman was very pleasant to talk to and to do business with. He showed us the car, 2007 Mazda 6, and showed equal enthusiasm and professionalism as, I'm guessing, he would have selling a brand new Audi. He took us out for a drive, answered our questions. We were very happy with the car and David helped us through the sale process as well. Throughout our process, David helped us a lot which was very refreshing. He had the car washed down for us. Also, when I indicated some issues with wiper blades and called him, he actually had a recommendation which wipers to get and called his mom to ask which ones did she buy last weekend. We felt we got very personal care working with David Falkman and Audi Minneapolis. I highly recommend David and Audi Minneapolis. We purchased an Etron Audi, all electric vehicle and were excited because it drives so nicely, is very quiet, and performs incredible like all the other Audi's we have owned. On Friday night we allowed the Etron to get to a low battery level and had to go to a Charging Station in order to charge up enough to make the trip back home. Everything was going very well until we completed the charging and attempted to remove the plug. It would not release from the vehicle. We called our daughter who lived nearby to come and get us and take us to our home. On Saturday morning I called the Consumer Services Dept at Audi Minneapolis and spoke with Evan. I could not have been any more delighted by his attitude, concern about the situation and willingness to help in any way he could. We both acknowledged that a Saturday morning for a specialized service would be difficult, but Evan said he would try to find a Service person that could help us. Not more than 30 min later Evan called and said he had an Etron tech on his way to our car. We met the two really nice gentlemen at our car, they were able to diagnose the problem, by pass it electronically and get the plug unplugged. In a World that seems lately to be full of excuses "why things can't get done", it was so refreshing and appreciated that Evan and the two gentlemen whose names I didn't get that were able to unlock the plug - it was truly a pleasure. Additionally, our Sales Person, Blayr Alexander showed sincere care that we had to go through this and worked with Evan to get a quick appointment to get the car serviced. We really like everyone at Audi Minneapolis and could not ask for a dealership to care any more about their customers that this one does. We bought a used vehicle from this dealership about a year ago. My husband and I stopped in after work one night and started browsing the lot. We were approached by a salesman who was casual and invited us to ask any questions. When we got down to what we were really looking for, he was able to show us a used vehicle that was just going through the "certified pre-owned" inspections. We talked numbers and looked up information about the vehicle online while they completed it, then took it out for a test drive. It was great! We received reasonable financing through a local credit union and took the car home without issue. Now, why am I waiting a year to write a review? Well, we recently went to renew our registration and hit a snag at the DMV. It turns out, the previous owner put the wrong tabs on the vehicle and no one caught it. The DMV was requesting over $300 more than what we were prepared to pay! I followed up with the title clerk at Audi of Minneapolis (Carousel Audi) and she was able to resolve it without issue. I've got a check in the mail to cover the cost, with sincere apologies for the miss. Next time we buy a vehicle, we're going to Carousel Audi! read more

I rarely take the time to write a review. However, I've been pushed too far and very frustrated. I purchased an Audi from them in 2011. I spent at least the equivalent of the purchase price into servicing that vehicle over the period I drove it until I traded it 8 years later. I now own a 2015 A3 I purchased from my brother in law this spring with 42,000 miles on it. I have since put 2,000 miles on the car. Engine light came on last week. Diagnosed as secondary air control valve needing replacement. $803 to replace a valve that would have been covered if I was the original owner. Unfortunately I did not know i needed to have the warranty for first 100,000 miles transferred for a fee to me. When it was revealed this was an option, I went online to get the form but the fine print said it needed to take place within 30 days of the sale which was in May (it's now August) I researched online estimates for repairs running around $350 for parts and labor. I discussed with the service rep, Mike Brausen, my history with them and my angst over beginning to return to the exorbitant costs to service an auto with them. I have since received a referral for an alternative import service provider who can fix the car for 40% less than Audi Minneapolis. Mike's only effort was to argue with me over the credence of my angst and complaints with his dealership, never once showing empathy or simply allowing me to vent. He chose instead to rebut as to why he was right and I was wrong for feeling this way. I could go on and on but I'll share this one little nugget. I once brought my old A6 in to top off the oil. The service rep in the drive through proceeded to take the dip stick out and broke the top off yet refused to replace it. He directed me to the parts counter to buy another for $35-40 as I recall. Their greed has finally worn me out. Sorry, Mike, had you not been so intent on pointing out to me how wrong I was for complaining, you would not be reading this now. Tech Ron lusski left a bolt in our cylinder in our Q5! Dave Ydstie lied and blamed everyone but them. He claims the bolt would disintegrate in the heat. And not drive at all or 500 miles with a bolt they left in the engine manifold in cylinder 4. I have all the pictures and proof and I will be taking them to court. They wouldn't let me talk to the tech or even know his name and hung up on me. I had to ask other employees his name. Very bad rude liars. I'll never buy anything from them ever again. I recently went here to look at a pre-owned 2012 Nissan Maxima they had for sale. The salesman that I worked with knew absolutely nothing about the car. Granted that they're an Audi Dealership, but the guy, I was told, was in charge of the pre-owned sales section and so I was directed to him. I asked him a few questions about the car, the guy just had no idea. He said "ya know, we just have to mess around with the car and we'll find out what it has...". I asked if the car has the tech/navi/sport/limited package and was just given a "i dunno" response. I took the car for a test drive, the salesman was in the passenger seat mostly just making small talk with me and not describing anything about the car. I ask about 4 or 5 questions about the car and after I received bogus no clue responses from the guy, I just gave up and decided to engage in the small talk back with the guy, just to be polite. Later I went home and researched all the information on the internet to learn more about what the car had to offer, differences between packages the car comes with, etc. I did all the work in researching while the salesman did nothing to further my knowledge what-so-ever. I was really interested in the car so I asked if it was okay for me to take the vehicle to my own personal mechanic to look over. Salesman agrees and a few days later I take the car to my mechanic. Keep in mind, the CarFax report showed the car in perfect condition, no accidents or body work reported. My mechanic finds the front bumper was replaced and there was a small problem with the front right tire suspension (an easy $300 to $400 fix) and the car would still be driveable even without fixing the suspension, but of course that's not recommended if you want the best out of your car. After, I go back and sit with the salesman to talk about the price of the vehicle and my mechanic's findings. I tell him about the front bumper being replaced and a few cosmetic blemishes I saw. I asked to lower the price of the vehicle by $400 to make up for the fix of the front right wheel suspension which I was denied. I give the salesman credit, he went and asked his floor manager, but still was denied. I didn't like the demeanor of the salesman. He kept pushing me to buy the car on the spot. He showed zero interest in what I was looking for in a car. He didn't bother to ask if I was interested in any other cars they had in their lot. He just kept telling me that the car "was a hot sale" and "it won't be here for long" and "others were inquiring about the car". This guy was just powering through to make the sale on a vehicle he knew absolutely zero about. Just a terrible experience at Audi Minneapolis. I had to be my own salesman and tell myself about the car by researching it on the internet AFTER i visited the dealership. I was constantly told the car would be gone if I didn't buy the car as quickly as I could. The sales people not negotiating on the price of the car even after my mechanic's findings. I guess if it doesn't show on the CarFax report, to Audi Minneapolis, it's a crisp clean car. But if you take it to your local mechanic and find something replaced/repaired on the car, then you still have no bargaining power and they'll find someone else to buy the car since the CarFax is clean. smh. read more

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP!!!!! My husband and I found a 2013 Infiniti Qx56 for sale with this dealership and thought we had found what we had been looking for with regard to a SUV. We were very wrong. There was a massive amount of pressure put on us for this vehicle. We had to put down a deposit, as Nicolas kept telling us this vehicle would be gone soon and they wouldn't hold it until we could get there from Iowa. Okay, fair enough, however, if it is such a hot commodity, shouldn't be a problem to hold it until we come look at it and then I am sure you could sell it the following week. We did request a couple of extra photos to see if we could get a better idea of the vehicle. I am rather particular about vehicles as I grew up with my Father owning a parts store and I have always been around and enjoyed cars. We arrive at the dealership, and the pressure is on. No one made us feel comfortable and everyone sort of gawked at us; I have never felt this way at a dealership in my life. It was beyond uncomfortable. Nicolas took us to look at the vehicle, which was in the process of being cleaned, okay that's nice, however, I noticed all kinds of dings in the paint which had attempted to have been "fixed" with a paint pen. He was not wanting to discuss any of this, as I brought it to his attention. As well as, he didn't want to let us take it for a test drive, check out the DVD player, etc.. He also made it seem as if they had found this WeatherTech floormats, and aren't we so lucky they are giving them to us! Right! Come to find out, they came with the vehicle and they put them back in to cover a red stain in the carpet in the back seat area. I didn't at all fee comfortable purchasing this vehicle, I felt so much pressure to pull the trigger and we had already put down a deposit of over a thousand dollars. In the weeks to come, I found so many things wrong with this vehicle, it made me sick!!!! The dishonesty in this sale was astounding and ethically wrong. The 3rd row seating seatbelt had been chewed into ruin by a dog, and it was tucked into the seat; there is a gash in the plastic in the back hatch area which is huge; there is a stain in the carpet which I can't remove; there are stains all along the crash handles in the front passenger seat; the paint chips are endless; there are scratches in the overhead fabric; there weren't any headphones to go with the DVD player; we have had many problems with the power steering to where most of it has had to be replaced; we had to get new tires about a month following the purchase; as well as, there is actually a discrepancy of the odometer reading in our contract. Buyer's Remorse doesn't even cover my opinion on the situation. This was fraud and deceit, plain and simple. Nicolas kept pushing us to not look at the vehicle and kept pushing to go sign paperwork and wasn't wanting to answer our questions. He purposely had it being cleaned to make it difficult and awkward for us to look at the vehicle in any proper or professional way. The only nice person at this dealership, was the gentleman detailing the vehicle. I don't know how people do business in this manner and sleep at night. It's disgusting to treat someone in this fashion when you work in the sales business. I will never do business with this dealership again and I hope no one else does either. Considering the product they are selling, which is a vehicle, with the idea of the vehicle being safe to drive on the road, no one should buy from this dealership. read more

I took my car in because the monitor was not working - no radio, hands free, navigation and or back up camera. After a $159 assessment, the technician came back and told me it was the main board - MMI. That is would cost me $2,100+ to repair. Mind you this is a 9 year old vehicle that I have now handed down to my daughter with only 63K miles on it. I asked for the part number to check out how much I could possibly get a used, but functioning MMI for, and was denied by the technician! He indicated that it was their policy because too many people had them assess the damage and went and got the repair elsewhere. Well, I paid for the inspection and the mechanic's time. So why would I not be eligible for getting the part number. Here's where the story gets better. I am referred to a mechanic who used to work at Carousel Audi and he starts checking the fuse boxes and realizes that the connections for the MMI are pushed in. He asked if I wanted to wait that it would take 2-3 hours to take this apart and fix it. $350 later, my monitor is up and running - full navigation, hands free and back up camera. He could not believe that the dealership missed this. Meaning that they would have replaced the MMI for +$2,100 and it still would not have worked and eventually charged me the additional hours to fix the fuse box........ I do not recommend getting ANY service done at this dealership!! Sales are great, Service is NOT!! read more

not only was this dealership disrespectful, but they never fixed my car. My car was in the shop for 3 weeks and when i arrived the car wasnt finished after complaining i was dealt with a rude manager that told me me im ineligible for a loaner car due to restrictions. Clearly no interest in helping customers unless you are willing to fork over big $$. I have owned Audi's since 1990, and never once has this dealer helped me with even the most simple of problems. Bottom line, if you didn't buy the car from them, they just don't care. read more
