We went to Audi just starting our search for an electric vehicle. Our salesperson was welcoming and we began by test driving the Q6. While looking online, we noticed they also had a Q8 e-tron in stock and asked if we could test drive that one as well. He gladly got it set up for us and provided pricing on both options along with a quote for our trade-in. Even though we told him we were still just looking, there was absolutely zero pressure or aggressive sales tactics. Because it was such a comfortable, hassle-free environment, we actually walked out to our car, looked at each other, and decided to walk right back inside to buy the Q8 e-tron. We negotiated a fair deal and came out with the exact car I wanted. Since we weren't planning on buying that day, they were very accommodating and gave us 10 days to bring back the title and spare key for our trade-in. Our salesperson even provided us with contact information to get our home charger set up. Super nice staff, a seamless process, and I am really loving the new car! read more

I had to give 1 star, but I would rather give 0 stars!!! I would advise you do not buy a car here! My wife and I negotiated our price, and then told them we had our financing. Once they learned that, they said they could no longer offer that price because we didn't go through their financing. In a text from one of their salespeople, "We get a kickback from the bank when we secure financing. We pass that on to you in order to make a deal work." So, they wanted to do the deal over again and raise the price we had negotiated by another $700. The salesperson also told me that the vehicle had new tires worth $3000, and when I looked them up online, they were $1,800 at the most. Do not trust these guys!! read more

I had an issue with this dealership several months ago, and left a review, along with a message for the manager, Jeff. I never received a response. Despite that experience, I decided to give them another chance because they I'm genuinely interested in purchasing. Last week, I submitted an inquiry, but once again, no one from the dealership-including Victor, who I had spoke with previously and found pleasant-reached out to me. The only communication I received was from their AI text assistant, Jocelyn. I asked two straightforward questions: whether the vehicle vehicles turbo oil screens have been replaced (a well documented issue on these vehicles that can cost thousands of dollars to repair) And whether the vehicle was a trade-in. Instead of receiving clear answers, I got what appeared to be generic, inaccurate responses, including statements and implying that AI had personally driven or inspected the vehicle. I was hoping for a better experience this time, but unfortunately it seems customer communication and transparency are still lacking. If you're going to use AI to communicate with potential buyers, it should provide accurate information or simply admit when it doesn't know the answer-not create the impression that it has firsthand knowledge of a vehicle. read more

Our experience was not pleasant. We had an appt. They sent us a reminder the night before and the morning of and we arrived on time. We walk into the showroom and we're not greeted by any of the many employees. We thought someone would make their way to us standing in the lobby but after waiting a couple of minutes; nothing. We headed to the front desk where we checked in. A few mins later we were told the car we had made an appt for had been sold the night before. Bummer, but it happens. Here is where I thought staff messed up. There was no call ahead to let us know the car had been sold, so we could save the 30 minute commute but worse than that, NOBODY offered to show us another car or even offer to help us out while we were already there. We walked out of there and immediate headed to a dealership closer to home where we purchased a car for our daughter. Oh, and we were greeted immediately by a sales rep who acted as though he appreciated us stopping in! read more

Do business with these people at your own risk. Dana reached out to me Saturday asking me to confirm an appointment to go see a vehicle. I agreed, but I also told him I live about an hour away, so it would take me a while to get there. He replied "sounds good". About 30 minutes into my trip I get a text saying the car had just been sold. At this point they had already ran my credit, I had an insurance quote and I had gotten a ride from a friend because my intention was to take the car home and they knew this. I'm sure not everyone gets the same treatment here, so maybe you'll have a better experience, but with so many options out there I don't know why you would risk it. read more

My husband and I worked with Hector yesterday. He was able to show us two cars we were interested in. Hector did a great job! He is very personable but not at all pushy. We felt confident that we were being offered a good price for a good product. It was clear we were not seen as just a sale/commission. I will be recommending Audi Exchange St. Charles and Hector to anyone in our area looking for a new vehicle. Hector, thank you for the amazing customer service yesterday! read more

If you can find a suitable vehicle somewhere else, go for it. The Audi Exchange is a mess. The communication from their staff is poor. You will be left wondering what's going on most of the time, unless YOU do the follow-up work, which is a pain in the butt because they just don't seem to care about their customers. The level of service they provide is barely sufficient to even complete a transaction, let alone give you a feeling of confidence that your purchase process is under control. It's all last minute and they don't care enough about fostering relationships that will result in future purchases or referrals, they just want you to go away. read more

Count me as another dissatisfied customer who will never buy from this dealer again. In my opinion both their lack of knowledge about their product and their questionable integrity after I filed a complaint make them a risky dealership to buy from. I can see from the reviews here and on other sites that I'm not the only one who feels that way. Their sales rep gave me incorrect information about the towing capacity of the Q5e I wanted to purchase. It was my stated purpose for buying the car, and I made a buying decision and waited months for the car to come in based on what he told me which turned out to be wrong. The car tows less than half what he said it did so it is useless to me for towing and I wasted thousands of dollars and six months. I discovered the actual lower towing capacity on my own 2 months after I bought the car and I was the one to bring it to their attention. I actually stood there with the rep while he investigated what I had learned. Now over a year later the rep is saying he disclosed the lower towing capacity when I took delivery and I agreed to buy the car anyway. I would never have agreed to that because the towing was critical to me. If he had been knowledgeable enough to tell me the correct towing capacity when I first came to the dealership, I would have left and bought another brand like Volvo. Instead I waited six months for a car that didn't meet my needs. It's very telling that Audi refuses to provide me with documentation to support their assertion that I accepted the lower towing capacity. They even accused me of wanting to use a third party to modify the car to increase the towing capacity which is ridiculous. I would never do such a thing-- I'm not mechanically inclined or irresponsible enough to even think of that. I would steer everyone away from Audi Exchange St Charles if I could. read more

I purchased a used vehicle and I will say avoid this place if you can. They lied about the condition of the brakes, they made false statements and also very poor communication skills. over all terrible experience. my background is 17 years in the auto industry read more

My service experience at St Charles Audi was exceptional. I was greeted by Justin Doyle the moment I pulled in. The facility is immaculate. It's hard to find good service now days but Justin and the St Charles team nailed it. I purchased my car in Highland Park But St Charles is more convenient. I will continue to service my vehicle at this dealership. They were quick, honest and my vehicle was returned in the same condition they received it. Bravo Justin and Team read more

Great vehicles, poor dealership. I bought a used Q7 that had a headlight issue the night of purchase. The response was that it didn't have that issue at inspection. It would had to have been inspected at night to show the error. After the GM said he would make it right, multiple attempts to contact him have not been returned. I sold an ML350 to buy the Q7. The Mercedes dealership next door is a much better outfit. I will not be purchasing another vehicle here. read more

Horrible experience. Buyer beware. Repair records were left out of the deal file received prior to buying. Car broke down 3 days later and still being repaired 60 days later. Complete nightmare. Buy a used from this dealer at your own risk because they cannot be trusted. I was assured they would "make it right" and they have haven't done anything at all to assist. Looks like other recent Yelp reviews have similar issues with buying a used car at this dealer. read more
