They don't even deserve one star. If you like long hold times, weeks to have simple questions answered, or customer service agents who don't care that you're spending tens of thousands of dollars, then this is the company for you. If not, and you care about your health, blood pressure, and/or sanity, then you should stay away from this site and anyone who associates with it. read more

I need to put in my review since I got some experience with this site as well. And the experience was not good. I won the bid for a property in Garden Grove, but this did not mean anything. They would contact you and insist your earnest $ is wired in. Then they would say to me: I have been overbid by $5K, If I still want the property, I better bid higher. I did this a couple of times. It was hard to contact the correct person. After two weeks, I smelled something fishy and stopped bidding and wanted my deposit back. A few months later I got an email from the owner asking me if I am still interested in his house. Recently, I saw a property that I want to buy through this company's mass mailing. Listing never disclosed ANY DEFECTS. I drove by, got the phone number of another listing agent, inspected it. It had serious issues: There is a big post in the 2 car garage. Talked to neighbor: second floor sagged - so the owner had to prop it up, I observed that the auction went on with reserve not met. The agent had told me "not even a single offer has been received". Two weeks later it still shows that auction starts 2 days from now. Auction here is not like eBay auction. It's something of a time and effort waster. Besides, if you are not careful, you can loose your deposit and/or get a lemon. I would wait until the listing expires with auction.com, go contact the owner and make a deal. BE CAREFUL! I would not deal with this company again. read more

I've done over 100 short sales and this by far is hands down the worst company ever. If you bid on a property and you're bid doesn't meet the reserve they will cancel the bid and start over or they have an in-house bidder to boot. They will do this over and over. I have not one good thing to say about this company. It deserves 0 (Zero) stars. read more

im a homeowner. these shmucks have cause my loan modification through chase to be denied!!"reason for denial?". my home is listed for sale..i never signed any paperwork to list my home for sale and its a problem getting these schmucks to unlist my house and put it off the market. im not elegible to do a loan modification and keep my home if my home is listed for sale through chase. i think that is bogus. now i keep getting even more schmucks calling me and mailing me and knocking on my door pretending to want to help me by offering to purchase my home for 70k below market price. either i have to appeal the decision or file chapter 13 all because of these schmucks!! read more

REDC / Auction.com is one of the most unpleasant companies to work with to purchase real property. Because of their size they fail to follow local code for providing information in the sale of condominium instruments. A quick google will show their poor customer service record. The idea is great in theory, but they just don't have good follow-up and continuously threaten to steal your deposit if you don't waive all rights. read more

Big thumbs down for auction.com business practices. first of all winning chances are as good as winning chances in las vegas (best case scenario), and secondly, It has been almost a month since my offer has been rejected by the bank. i have not received my earnest deposit money back. i have called auction.com three times and left voicemail messages for the bank two times. when it was my turn to submit the deposit money, auction.com was all over me and made me WIRE the money the next day. i paid $35 for wiring alone. now that it is their turn to return my deposit money (within 10 business days according to them), nobody cares. auction.com seems to be a business that favors big banks and not the little guys. i will not do business with auction.com anymore. read more

Almost 2 months ago I bid on a small house to renovate and then move my mother into so she could be closer to me. I was the winning bidder. I promptly submitted the earnest money and all necessary paperwork. The seller signed the appropriate paperwork and it was returned to me. As far as I was concerned all was good and we were to close a month later. One week later I received an email from auction.com asking me to sign the attached "extension" and get it back to them within 24 hours. After reviewing the "extension" it turns out it was not an extension but a cancellation! I asked them why they were sending me a cancellation and they informed me the seller was unable to proceed and they had no additional details. Since I had a fully executed agreement I elected to NOT SIGN the cancellation and forward to my attorney instead. Since that time we have sued auction.com & seller and filed a lien against the house. As of yet - no resolution. They have huffed and puffed and tried to scare us off. Once they realized I am not going away just because they are a huge company and I am a single 47 year old woman trying to buy a house for her 80 year old mother - they asked if I would be open to resolving this out of court and what settlement figure I have in mind. I have no idea what that means but I guess I will eventually find out. All I want to do is close on this house and start working on it before the Wisconsin temperatures drop below zero! They still have my earnest money. It has been an incredibly stressful and upsetting experience for both my mother and myself and I will never go this route again and highly recommend others learn from my mistake of trusting auction.com. The company has no ethics, no morals and could care less about the experience people have with their services as long as they are paid. I don't know why the seller/auction.com is trying to back out of the deal. The only logical explanation would be that someone else has offered them more money and they are therefore trying to throw their weight around and plow forward in the most profitable way possible for them - regardless of little things like legally binding contracts. read more

So I got everything ready to start bidding on a property listed on auction.com. Three days before the bidding even started they took it off and said they had accepted an offer. What kind of bullshit is this? How do you take something off before the it even auctions? This website is a piece of shit and waste of time. Don't EVER use this site. read more

Like the other posters stated, we need to be able to give 0 stars, it's THAT BAD. The "Auction.com" site is not an auction, in fact it's a commitment to put in an offer for a house, with an extra 5% or $2,500 (whichever is greater) tacked on for their cut. Even if you never hit the reserve amount. If you are the winner, you receive a call, the first thing that's said is: "Hi is this ______? Congratulations on being the highest bidder, I'll need some information from you to fill out your contract, please remember that you agree'd to our website terms, and they are non negotiable." You are then sent a contract, that is 100% worded for the bank, I mean seller, and are forced to send an Earnest payment of 5%, or $2,500, whichever is greater. You have 2 hours to do this and sign a 40+ page contract. Did you get suckered in and want out? Do NOT sign the contract. Immediately contact your bank and process a reversal on the unauthorized transaction of the deposit they stole from you. If you still want to go through with the process, take a look at what Closer they assign you, look up the reviews on that closer. I sure did, and sure as shit, 100% of the reviews for that closer are 1 star reviews. If you try to contact their customer service, they will 100% lie to, they will screw you, however you'd like it, because they will get their cut either way. YOU. HAVE. BEEN. WARNED. read more

Please read; Auction.com helped change my life! Amazing people! My name is Adam, I am 26 years old, and have been a life-long resident in West Michigan. Born and raised here, I received a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering at age 23, became engaged to my now wife, Nicole, at age 24 and began shopping for my first home in the spring of 2012; this is my testimonial as to how Auction.com and 2 of its employees drastically impacted my life. I will keep this as brief as possible, the depth of this story is actually quite painful! To summarize, my fiancé and I were shopping to buy our first home ever in the spring of 2012. On October 22, 2012 we won an auctioned home on Auction.com located in Grand Haven, MI - the most beautiful place in Michigan to live! For the sake of time I will simply explain that from the day we won the auction, over 8 MONTHS had passed by, and I had invested over $10,000 into the home and STILL had not closed. We had fought horrific battles with the selling agent, with Bank of America, and even with my own Realtor, to the point where I hired a Real Estate Lawyer to back me up in this battle. Several times we were at risk of losing the home to foreclosure. The seller had 2 mortgages out on the home, the house was in short sale status flirting with foreclosure, and the mortgage owners were completely ignoring us. We were 100% helpless and felt so alone. We had no one to support us in this purchase or protect my investments, and multiple times we contemplated cutting our losses and buying elsewhere. This is where 2 Auction.com employees stepped up to the plate, went far beyond the call of duty, and gave me and Nicole hope for the first time. I first contacted Erin Paul who greeted me so kindly and helped to inform me of much of what was happening behind the scenes. Erin was a tremendous help in shedding light on tons of questions that nobody else would answer for Nicole and myself. From here, Erin put Tanya Whitlock on our case to kick-start the short sale closing. Tanya was nothing short of a God-send. In a time where we were frustrated, angry, and uncertain Tanya offered the most positive and uplifting attitude I've ever seen! With Tanya and Erin's help, we immediately began seeing progress. Tanya was amazingly persistent in pressuring Bank of America to advance our case, and was always the first one on top of things to call me or email me when critical documents needed to be handled. We ended up completely bypassing the selling agent, and Chris Norton at Transnation Titling Company also stepped up to help us. For the first time in 8 months, Nicole and I saw hope. Documents were being shared and sent out, phone calls and updates were taking place weekly if not daily, and I soon was the one under pressure to have my home owner's insurance and mortgage lined up! Tanya would often call me just to see how things were going, to make sure I was up to date, and asked if I needed anything at all. I fully expected Auction.com to push me away and say "I'm sorry, we are only a middle man - this is your problem". And even if they said that, I would've agreed because they are not responsible for my home. But to the contrary, Tanya made it her life goal - working overtime and checking my case hourly - to guarantee that us newlyweds would have our first home. I will forever also remember Tanya's advice "Happy wife, happy life". Tanya always brightened my day when we chatted on the phone. At last, after 8.5 months of fighting banks, realtors, agencies, mortgage owners, lawyers, and more, we successfully closed on our house! We could not be happier! To be a first time home owner is an amazing feeling, and I know for a FACT that I would not have this opportunity in front of me if Tanya hadn't pulled so hard for us. Literally nobody in Michigan cared about us enough to push the sale of the home. We would still be waiting or the home would've gone into foreclosure without this help, and that's a fact. So from Nicole and I as well as our families, we extend a tremendous THANK YOU to Auction.com but especially to Erin Paul and our beloved Tanya Whitlock for their very kind and generous support. You guys rock! read more

I am currently on a closing process with auction.com and I can say that whatever the result I won't try again another object at auction.com The first contract you sign to remove all your right is 52 pages. one paragraph is pretty upsetting BUYER AGREES THAT SELLER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO BUYER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES FOR ANY SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE AND STRICT LIABILITY), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE PRINCIPLE, THEORY, OR CAUSE OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED IN ANY WAY TO ANY CLAIM, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE AFOREMENTIONED CLAIMS. That means they can do anything wrong to you included gross negligence and you are totally at auction.com mercy. if you are "lucky" after 2-3 weeks you'll receive another contract to remove all your rights to be sure everything is covered for them, this time 17 pages Be ready to receive only the land or nothing because they warranty nothing not even that your contract is legal! They could sell you somebody else property and still get your money in full with no legal action on your side. That's really bad I moved into this rat trap there is other way to buy a property. now I ca see that the discount on the property is far too low compared to the risk taken to loose everything and more in case something goes wrong. On a different topic No wonder the housing market is not recovering in this Country when the first crooks are the banks. I tried short sales, got burned and lost money and time with nothing in return, I tried auction seems even worse. The only way that I was to get a property so far is buying directly from the owner cash because the bank was trying all it can to bait and switch with a loan, increasing the loan rate for differentes reasons, adding fees left and rights, asking a different paper, signature here and there a check for this or for that. For one month I was at the bank everyday until I got tired of it and moved with cash only. read more

bought a property via Auction.com, the experience was awful!!! First, one agent from Auction.com told me the property was vacant, however, there are squatters living in the property! Second, 4 months after paid the money in full and closed the transition, I still have not yet received the deed, which I do need to evict the squatters. I sent numerous requests to the closing agent (auction.com appointed), however, I have never received any reply!!! I really do not want to spend more money on this by suing Auction.com, but I have to consider this seriously now. read more

At first i thought this was a great way of doing business however after dealing with this company I would not recommend them at all run away first it took over a week to get the purchase agreement from them then even though they say 30 days after purchase they try to bump it up 10 day and even though it says you can pick your title company that is not true they sent you agreements and then change dates the sellers agent and their own title company say they never return calls or pick up the phone in their word "very unprofessional" in my words unethical Tim Morse the CEO needs to take a hard look at his customer service set up after looking at some other comments it seems to be a pattern of incompetency read more

Never ever use Auction.com. You will pay so much more in various ways...First Auction.com's computer system is set up to bid AGAINST YOU the buyer. The contract is VERY one sided and non negotiable with no contingencies and no exit route. Auction.com represents to seller/usually a bank hence you have no one representing the you the buyer. Secondly the bank does nothing to preserve the house against busted pipes, cutting the grass, vandalism and according to the contract you have NO ACCESS to the house until title transfers. The condition of the property is the bottom 5% compared to other foreclosures. The condition of the property will also change over time, meaning the from the time you win the auction until settlement, a decent fixer upper might turn into burst pipes, flooded, covered in mold. I was told my property that I won on auction.com was suppose to be occupied (but was not) so the "Property Preservation Team" would do nothing. The bank assumes that they are occupied, yet the time of bidding might be several years after the last time the bank updated their record. Then you are stuck with a house that is a lot more expensive to renovate. Since you the buyer does not have representation you can't protest, in this case, that PNC is not following the contract. The Title Company was of not help either. the reserve price, every auction has an undisclosed reserve price which is nowhere near the starting price. You/the buyer pays the commissions not the BANK. STAY AWAY...Auction.com is an extension of the Bank. read more

Auction.com seems to have very loose ethics by playing both ends against the middle. I bid on a property recently and noticed in the fine print that the auction was allowed to bid on the sellers behalf, I assume up to the reserve price although not sure on that point it may be up to the sale price. In any event it means that you could well be bidding against yourself as a computer just spits another bid out as soon as you have made one. I also looked at another property but the agent who was the original listing agent said it was under contract with the bank. The auction went ahead and I suspect that if a higher offer was received it would be presented to the bank in an effort to test their ethics also. And we all probably know how that would work out. read more

AUCTION.COM Live auctions are a joke. They publish an opening bid which means nothing. The seller ( trustee ) has an unpublished minimum price they will accept. That is at or close to market value. Why would anyone pay market value when paying cash; without seeing the inside and with no warranty Auction.com said all live auction foreclosed properties have a minimum price. Why not publish it ? The live auction I went to four properties were up for sale. None sold because the minimums were more than anyone would pay. They set opening bid low to get people to the auction. Example starting bid 75,000 minimum 142,800. Starting bid 125,000 minimum 182,000. This is just not right !!! There should be a law against it. read more

This is a total scam!! Stay away! Before I started bidding through their site (auction.com) they asked me for a 2,500$ deposit. I was under the impression that this was be the premium I paid if I win a bid on a house whether or not the funding for the house goes through or not. Well I was wrong. Turns out once you win the bid on a house you have 24 hours to come up with 5% of the winning bid. I won a bid on a place at 360k of which I had to fork over 18k in 24 hours or else I would not only lose the bid I would also lose my 2,500$ deposit. I gave them the 18k they wanted thinking that it was part of the final bid price of 360k. Well I was wrong again. The 18k is not included in the final price, it was added to the 360K bringing up the total for the house to 378k. So what started as a great deal on a house turned out to be a total flop because the house appraised at 380k and I bought it for 378k. Anyways, this was only the beginning. Since the selling price was raised I was having trouble finding a loan for the new 378k asking price. I was almost to the point where I was going to have to let the place go. Thinking that if I lost the place I would only lose my 2,500$ deposit I come to find out that I was wrong again and that I was on the verge of losing the 5% I had given them WHICH WAS 18 THOUSAND DOLLARS!!! This whole venture which at first seemed like an opportunity to get a great deal on a house was turning out to be a total nightmare! I WAS GOING TO LOSE A LARGE PORTION OF MY LIFE SAVINGS TO A TOTAL SCAM!!! Desperate I had to borrow money from a friend in order to increase my deposit on the house in order to qualify for a loan. I was able purchase the house in the end but had I known all the trickery involved when dealing with auction.com I would have stayed away! I advise you to please avoid this site and any sites like it. read more

I attended an Auction.com webinar . They do these supposedly to help you learn about how to use their site, etc. I am a pretty seasoned investor, and submitted numerous very pointed questions during the webinar. The question screener refused to allow any of my questions to be answered. I am certain it was because she knew the answers would have made potential bidders afraid to use Auction.com, due to all of the things that can go badly for the winning bidder! This company has just proven to me that they have zero credibility and ethics. Buyer BEWARE of Auction.com. I know I will! read more

Have purchased 3 properties from auction.com, so it is possible...but it's difficult. The purchase agreements are completely one-sided & you're buying as-is, including title issues, but that's common with bank repos. Do NOT use their title company Servicelink and DO purchase title insurance. Servicelink is incompetent & probably crooked since they are advocates for the banks-on the last deal they provided a faulty deed & then took 90 days to remedy, wouldn't return phone calls or emails. Horrible! Auction.com tried to blame us for the delay because we used our own title co who wouldn't improperly close a deal-they wanted it closed & couldn't understand/didn't care that the property would have been worthless with the closing docs as they provided them & would have required months to fix via title insurance. The auction closing specialist was mad because the deal didn't book on time & affected her pay bonus! (She actually said that & threatened to kill the whole deal & keep my emd if we didn't stop calling her about it. I told her to bring it on! She backed down...) Use a good, experienced and INDEPENDENT title company. Beware of fraudulent emails from fake title companies. Once servicelink opens title, it becomes public record & scammers send "updated" wiring or mailing instructions for earnest money or purchase price-even if you have already sent your emd. Yet another reason to use an independent local title company-let them figure out what's legit! Auction.com has the worst customer service ever. No one responds to email or phone calls. My current closing "specialist" doesn't even HAVE voicemail & has yet to answer the phone after 20+ calls and multiple emails. Their 1-800 number customer service is only there to argue with the customer. I regularly have to tell them directly to stop talking over me, let me finish my sentence and to stop arguing with me. They truly seem to be trained to refuse to give information or assistance. And if you push them, they put you on hold as punishment. My realtor& I have a dance to go along with their hold music we've listened to so much of it! read more

Horrible customer service. Accidentally missed an auction pickup because of a family emergency. My priority was not to email an auction house while tending to family business. Stay away, stay FAR FAR away! Auction.com/Ten-X is a real estate SCAM. We were looking to purchase a seemingly great commercial property and were intrigued by the low starting price. As we placed our bids, we noticed another "interested buyer" kept bidding last minute and the auction clock would be reset for another three minutes over and over. Lo and behold, these scam artists at Ten-X were bidding themselves to hike up the price. After "winning" the auction, they insisted that we sign the documents ASAP without giving us any time whatsoever to review the contract. Long story short, based on the endless extremely negative reviews and our odd experience with them already, we decided to back out but not before they insisted we owed them $5K for backing out. All the negative reviews are spot on. Don't let this crook company put one over on you. Hopefully they'll be out of business soon...with reviews this nasty, I'm thinking it won't be too long. read more

I am a professional Realtor with 25 years experience and am completely committed to helping my clients buy, sell and finance homes. I just had less than 1 star experience with Auction.com - Auction.com is a complete waste of time - and its no surprise that their ratings are all 1 star. My client saw a home that was listed in the MLS and wanted to inquire about purchasing it - I followed the instructions to go to Auction.com and put the address in - it said "no matching assets" - I then went to the online chat - (probably the thing that works best, since you were able to ask questions) - the answers were - we have the asset yet it is being updated, therefore not shown on website (not why would a Seller what to be on the market for 40 days and refer to a website where the property is not listed and offer 1% to agent when market is 2.5-3%) - I was then advised that their was an auction which failed because the bids were far below the reserve - the persone could not give me any information and the when I made a comment about this not being a smooth process for a buyer - she hung up on the live chat - and my session was discontinued - Seriously, would you want that representation when selling a home? 40 days on the market - not listed on the site - no information on how to purchase - only that the auction failed. .no information on how and when to attempt to purchase - just is really BAD!! You will win auctions with the people, even if you don't meet the Reserve they will still act like you won. You take all the time to register and give them a $2k deposit just to be able to bid at all, hold on the phone forever getting approved to bid and then once you win the fun begins... You will fill out all the paperwork, send in all the documents and your Earnest Money Deposit and tie up funds for weeks and then the seller will back out. This isn't a one time thing, search the web or just look at the reviews at how many times this happens. I have had to literally fight for weeks to get my money back even after seller backed out and never even signed a contract. Another auction I won and sent in everything and I get a phone call saying they put that property on auction by mistake and the deal isn't going to happen. What happened to integrity? These people have none at all! Corporate America cutting into America. I am a Real Estate Agent and was given the underwhelming pleasure of helping a client pursue a Fannie Mae property that was (I presume)contracted to be sold through Auction.com. However before such contract took place the property was available through homepath.com (Fannie Mae foreclosure website). At the time of my clients first offer the property was being sold through homepath.com, after the offer was presented we waited and told by listing agent to be prepared for highest and best. Before getting to highest and best listing agent made me and the buyer aware that the home was now being sold through auction.com(out of left field). Now me and my buyer have to submit any offer through Auction.com. More paperwork and the use of Docusign(which is an awesome tool) which my client did not understand how to use. So my client has to come back into my office to do the docusign version of the paperwork. My buyer was awarded the property before the auction start date advertised on Auction.com(very misleading). Client tries to file a complaint with the BBB on Fannie Mae for allowing such and BBB tells my client that they can not touch Fannie Mae. Obviously Client was disgruntled with how the process was handled as am I. Especially after the property goes to Auction.com my commission gets cut from nothing to less than half of nothing and the remainder goes to Auction.com. I want my clients to be happy but I also want to earn a living and in the end of this transaction I will earn 200 while Auction.com will earn 3100. I still wonder what they accomplished that Homepath.com hadn't already. Despicable and will only get worse unless Realtors stand up to such nonsense. I've closed on 11 properties from Auction.com. I've had the highest bid on a total of 17 properties with 6 of those deals not being closed. The seller cancelled 4 times and 2 times we could not get a clear title. Always got the deposit back with no problems. Customer service is good. I won the auction, met the reserve price, paid my deposit and had a signed purchase agreement then sat waiting for the deal to close. After two weeks Auction.com sent me a email asking me to sign to agree to cancel the transaction due to it being conveyed to HUD. I refused to sign for over a week and every day I would get the same email Then all of a sudden I get an email. "Thank you for confirming an unilateral sellers cancellation will be sent to all parties." I sent and email stating that I did not sign anything and this is what I got back."In my email it states unilateral sellers cancellation. This would not require a the buyers to sign the form." As of today I do not have my deposit back and I do not know when I will get it. But from the look of this whole experience, auctions on Auction.com are not final and the seller can pull it back at anytime. However the buyer is not able to inspect the inside of the property and you could loose your deposit if the buyer decides to back out. If this is not the case someone can correct me. But this is the way I feel. And yes all of this may very well be in the sellers agreement but I have never been to an auction where the property was sold then pulled back. Seems shady to me. read more

Without seeing the inside of the homes, you don't know what you are getting into. I was lucky enough to get inside one of the homes before the auction. A local realestate company allowed me to view the inside of the home, and I noted that one of the interior bedrom walls was completely destroyed, dry-wall smahed away to allow access to plumbing pipes for repairs? A big mess as well, with water smell, and smashed TVs, dirty clothes, etc. Also, the kitchen ceiling was falling in. Applicances were missing, kitchen floor dmaged, etc. I went on the roof (above the kitchen) and the roof was soft like hot bread. I attempted to factor all of this in, and estimate the repairs I'd need to do. Not too bad, a bit of dy wall, a good cleaning, some plumbing, but I figured I could handle it. After a few days, (and much consideration) I decided that I wanted to have a look in the attic. I was really concerned about the roof, because it can be both expensive and lot of work. I called the realestate agent, and was informed that the bank gave them instructions to not allow anyone inside the home, because there was "personal property" in the home. I don't believe that was the reason! I went ahead and bid on the property, but I didn't go too high because of the needed repairs. The home did not sell at auction, and I was notified that it would be "re-listed". So, the "take-away" here is they don't want you to know the condition of the home. Now, that wouldn't be all-bad if they disclosed what they know, and were honest about the auction, and allowed inspections when they can. But they are not honest. Until they clean up their act, I might throw a low-ball offer here an there. Perhaps I might go all-in if I have inside information or an opportunity to inspect the homes. Again, please be careful; these folks are dishonest. read more

DO NOT use auction.com. They may not be a scam themselves, but they are facilitating them. They list properties, that have already been sold. They do not verify if properties are actually available. Sellers that provide properties to auction.com can be fake title companies, and they have no rights to the property. I know this for a fact, because I put in a cash offer over the asking price with no contingencies on a property with my realtor, but I was still outbid. Two months later the house appeared on auction.com, so I called my realtor who in turn called the listing agent, and he confirmed the house had been sold two months ago, and he thought the listing was a scam. So, I contacted auction.com and they said the deed was provided by First Financial. I contacted First Financial, and they said that was incorrect and they also said it sounded like a scam. I again contacted auction.com (through chat, because if you call you get a message that says please send an email, and then they don't respond) and it was like the agent was reading from a script. They just kept repeating they just provide the listing. They DO NOT care AT ALL if the listing is legitimate, even after they have knowledge it is not. Then I asked to speak with a supervisor and he repeated all they do is list the information they are given and that's it. I told him it took me two minutes to call and verify if the property is available, and he said we just go by the information the seller has provided. So, people are wasting their time, and putting down deposits for properties that are not even available and auction.com could care less. I have read many many reviews that people say they have great difficulty getting their deposits back as well, and how difficult transactions can be. Their practices are unethical, unreliable, and misleading. They are providing false information, and seem to care less about their company's reputation. read more
