I live nearby here and come fairly regularly to pick up flowers for our house due to the proximity. They generally do a pretty good job and prices are fair for the pre-made arrangements. The flowers last a normal amount of time for cut flowers. They sell a bunch of weird religious tchotchkes that I find off-putting but most of the staff have been friendly, especially the young lady that has brought flowers out to my car a few times. I've placed orders with Auburn Florist (which is actually located in Oxford) a couple times from New York and had them deliver to my mom a couple miles away. They have always been very nice and helpful and kept my information on file so they just needed my card number when I called back to place another order. The least expensive decent sized bouquet for delivery typically runs about $55 ish which seems a little on the higher end but is definitely reasonable for what they're able to create. read more

Overpriced and very disappointed. Ordered flowers for a funeral. Totally embarrassed when I walked into the funeral home and saw a 7" basket of flowers that looked like a get well arrangement vs a funeral piece. When called, they thought we got the value of flowers for what we paid and didn't offer to do anything to resolve the issue. They simply said that was too bad because you only had one chance at a funeral . I will never give hem any business ever again! read more

I had a budget and they were able to work with it. The centerpieces were beautiful, and much more than I expected, they were delivered on time and in perfect condition for a freezing cold bitter January day. I can't say enough about the service I received last weekend! My son did not pick up prom flowers in time at another florist that closed really early without any notice. We were in a full panic as he had to leave in less than an hour. I called to get the most wonderful person "Molly" at the Auburn location who said she would get us flowers in 15 minutes! Just received a delivery from Auburn Florist. Not sure but I don't remember any other "delivery" man in my life just opening my front door and walking into my home. Considering the fact that I have a broken leg and using crutches and a wheelchair with limited weight bearing and home alone I choose not to go down the 7 stairs to answer the first door he knocked at and tried the door - to have him go to the side door and knock again but this time he opens my door and proceeds in. With phone in hand I told him to get the hell out of my house who does he think he is entering a home without permission. How do I know who he is. His response he did not want to drive all the way out here for nothing. Really I told him I should be calling the cops right now and HE tells me to go ahead I will wait for them. I said to put the plant down and get off my property now. I think Auburn Florist should fire this creepy old man who is obviously out of his mind to enter someones home without permission in these days. I could have been in shower, out back by pool or resting and not answered my door. I have used Auburn Florist in the past but after this incident I could never possibly subject someone to the fright that just happened to me. Ordered flowers for my son's prom. Staff was friendly and courteous. Picked out black ribbon, black beaded wrist bracelet for corsage, and gems to include in the arrangement. Specified classic black and white theme and white roses for both corsage and single classic white rose boutonniere for my son. Day of prom, pick up flowers... wrong bracelet (not even black), boutonniere completely wrong (daisy and another flower), and wrist corsage made up of daisies and 3 small mini white roses (I'll concede at least they used mini roses but I had requested regular size white roses to be the main flower) Tried to talk me and my son into the arrangement that they made up with the wrong colors. Begrudgingly moved the arrangement on to a different bracelet that was at least black. Bare minimum attempt to make things "right." Disappointed with service, especially when I had used them for arrangements previously without issue. Will be hesitant to use in the future... read more
