After trying to contact multiple different chimney service companies for the last month, we were so…read morehappy when Pinckletink returned our phone call for a request. We had reached out to three other companies, two of which we never even heard back from and one who said they wouldn't come this far out to our house (only a town or two over.) We were in desperate need of a chimney sweep and inspection. The woman who returned my call was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and got us booked with an appointment for the following week on a Monday morning! The two gentlemen who showed up to our home were very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They went right to work and seemed to have everything taken care of in not talk much time. Although I wish the results of our chimney inspection were better (thanks previous owners of the house), the inspection was thorough and seemed reasonably priced. The young gentleman who gave me the results of our inspection was actually the owner of the company and said they would be emailing over photos of the complete inspection along with an estimate for any repairs we would need to have done before potentially installing a wood stove. If you're in the need of any chimney servicing, I highly suggest Pinckletink. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable!

While they did come out to do inspections on our chimneys, there was zero communication afterward in regards to what was found, a quote, etc. It has been nearly a month. I called several times, spoke with the receptionist - Adam was either out of the office or the one time he was in office and she took my email for a quote, nothing was sent and no phone call received. I'm unsure what the breakdown is, but if they cannot communicate information for a quote or schedule work to be done, I don't know if I would trust them to take my money to perform said services. I cannot speak to their workmanship, as again, I have been ghosted since the site visit.
