We thought we needed a massive wiring job to get a level 2 charger installed in our garage. Joshua took time to talk on the phone about the job, asked great questions beforehand, then came out the next business day to look at the install job and give me a quote. He counselled us OUT of doing the work, and for that, I'm SO GRATEFUL. he could have easily just talked about the necessity of the job, and I wouldn't have known better. But, he's a good, ethical guy, and could appreciate our situation, and so he told us how we could make the best of our situation without massive demo and conduit, and crazy expensive wiring. And, he did it all graciously with a smile. What he got out of talking himself out of this job, is complete loyalty for any and all future jobs we'll ever need. And, I'll be telling everyone I know about him, for sure. Plus, he's a family guy, loves his wife daughter and talks about them with lots of love and pride. To me, that goes a long, long way when I think about who I want to support with my money.

I was grateful that I received a response from Richard on the very same day I sent my inquiry to their service department. I appreciate that he gave me options with direct quotes on the costs I may incur without any pressure. I highly recommend reaching out to them for any of your appliance service/repair needs. I will certainly be keeping them in mind for any future needs I may have.

Called in the a.m. and left a message on an answering machine. He got back to me within two hours. Scheduled a time for the afternoon and he showed up on time ready to work. Pulled apart the burner and sensor, replaced a nozzle, and fired it up. We had hot water. Cleaned up the space, answered all of my questions, and was okay with me watching him work. Excellent! David Wolfe of Wolfe Plumbing and Heating is a rare 'find'. He's knowledgable, prompt,…read moreprofessional, and his work is exemplary. Make sure to have him explain EVERYTHING about his pricing 'flat rate for the job' or else you will be accused of not asking questions (whether you did or not). Make sure to have him discuss with you anything questionable before he makes his 'executive decision' and fixes something in a way that doesn't even make sense based upon the facts then charges you for HIS fix. Make sure to resolve any questions or concerns BEFORE paying the bill. If your husband calls him to discuss the price afterward, make sure to be on the call to dispell some of the mis-truths. When I attempted to address some questions/concerns, he admitted that he should have talked to me before making the executive decision and presented a possible fix but then didn't call me back as he said he would. I can accept that some of the issues happened because I didn't ask enough questions. He initially agreed that he should have asked first but later went back and wasn't willing to accept his piece when he spoke with my husband. Just not a good experience at all!

Yes, I know my water heater is leaking, thanks. They ghosted me, so I wasted no time and tried calling Hilltop. Steve came out the very next day to take a look, and there was no charge. On the spot, he got on the horn with Lisa and they priced out a new one, and sent me the estimate and invoice for a deposit. Rich and his team of three came out the following day and completed the job in under an hour. Clean and professional work! What really impressed me, was that after I had written them a cheque and they left, Lisa called me back not long after, apologizing for overcharging me! They corrected the invoice and so I was not overcharged. Honesty says a lot about people who run a business. Great team. Definitely working with them again.
