David Wolfe of Wolfe Plumbing and Heating is a rare 'find'. He's knowledgable, prompt,…read moreprofessional, and his work is exemplary. He accommodated us very quickly to temporarily address a leak, and has since performed several renovation projects. His communication and follow-through are refreshing, in a time where customer-centricity has all but vanished. I'd give him six stars, but it seems that five is the limit!

Very dissatisfied! He was at my house for approximately 40minutes and charged an absurd price!!…read moreMany many issues here !! Make sure to have him explain EVERYTHING about his pricing 'flat rate for the job' or else you will be accused of not asking questions (whether you did or not). Make sure to have him discuss with you anything questionable before he makes his 'executive decision' and fixes something in a way that doesn't even make sense based upon the facts then charges you for HIS fix. Make sure to resolve any questions or concerns BEFORE paying the bill. If your husband calls him to discuss the price afterward, make sure to be on the call to dispell some of the mis-truths. When I attempted to address some questions/concerns, he admitted that he should have talked to me before making the executive decision and presented a possible fix but then didn't call me back as he said he would. I can accept that some of the issues happened because I didn't ask enough questions. He initially agreed that he should have asked first but later went back and wasn't willing to accept his piece when he spoke with my husband. Just not a good experience at all!

Tom showed up thinking I needed a new Expansion Tank because we thought it was leaking. After a…read morequick inspection, he thought it was a water filter above the tank that had the leak. I also asked him about a "hammering" issue with my washing machine when the water shuts off. He suggested rubber hoses instead of metal. Both suggestions turned out to be spot on and he wouldn't accept a dime in payment. This man is old school and is a breath of fresh air in today's world. I kind of hope I need a big plumbing job in the future so I can repay him for his generous advice!

well after my own interaction with Mr. Patterson over the phone and reading the reviews here I am…read moremuch more inclined to believe Jennifer B's review above. I called versatile plumbing and heating looking for someone to come out and provide an estimate for an entirely new heating system (boiler, baseboards, piping, all of it) in a residential home. Before even asking anything about the house or the job he instead asked how many other people I had looking at the job. When I said that I have had 2 other people look at the house and am looking to have 1 or two more estimates before making a decision he said that he was not interested in a job if more people were going to look at it. When I asked why he indicated that if there were more people looking at the job then I was just interested in comparing all of the estimates and choosing the cheapest one....Which is exactly true...because thats how business and estimates work. So apparently if you want the job to be high quality and competitively priced Versatile Heating and Plumbing is not interested in providing the work. I cannot say anything as to the quality of their work as he has not done any work on my home. But as a professional myself I would not trust any business that discourages getting multiple opinions and estimates. I imagine if I had gone ahead with Versatile a heating system would get installed but it most likely would be overpriced for the installed product. After one single conversation Mr. Patterson and Versatile Heating and Plumbing are definitely not worth my trust. I would suggest you call around...there are plenty of other plumbing and heating businesses out there willing to provide estimates and honest work.
