I was craving a croissant and this bakery hit the spot! I got an almond croissant, and it was super flakey and buttery with a good amount of almond flavor but not too sweet. The only gripe I had was that the croissant was more burnt than I would have liked but it was still quite tasty.

Lovely cafe! Enjoyed breakfast here twice. Everything was delicious. We're convinced the almond croissant is the best we've ever had.

Just stopped by in the afternoon to have some coffee to warm us up and pastries. They check your COVID pass/card then you can choose where to sit. The fruit tarte and torte both were really good. They had other pastries, quiche, and light sandwiches to choose from as well. You pay at the front with the cashier when you are ready to leave.

Mango gelato is my favorite! Get any gelato!! Take the time and step just a bit outside of the Old Town Square for gelato that is far superior, cheaper and bigger than the ones right by the Astronomical Clock. It's a cute little shop with a back courtyard. Nice quiet reprieve from all the mobs of tourists!

We happened upon this place as there was a short burst of rain. Cute front windows displaying some of the pastries but there is a lot more here than just bakery goods. We had a lovely quinoa salad which is unusual to find in the city of Prague. We also had some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches European style. Finished off with some of the pastries of which they had a beautiful selection and of course the coffee service was over the top. Very helpful staff quiet location down a little side street. The type of place you find if you wanted to get lost.

Really good food. Nice ambiance. The waiters are really friendly and nice. They speak English and are patient. The gulash is very good, so are the croissants, the daily specials and the pizzas. The desserts are very tasty and not overly sweet. I definitely recommend this little café for a quick meal, a coffee, tea time or even a long meal with several courses. You can get any pastries and salty goods to go with coffee, hot chocolats and tea as well.

Complete disappointment. The place is beautiful. Just fantastic decor and concept. We stoped for a coffe as walking around. My girlfriend asked a cappuccino and I took a white hot chocolate. We also took a lemon tart to share. The cappuccino was espresso with milk, and not that strong taste of coffee. The white chocolate had the taste of burned milk and no taste of white chocolate. The lemon tart was a disaster. The base was supposed to be a kind of biscuit, but it was soft and tasteless. The lemon curd was as thin as a paper sheet, with not so much lemon and the meringue was too much (it was awesome meringue though) that dominated everything. What can I say? Maybe we asked for the wrong things at the wrong day

Fruit tartlette: flaky, buttery crust, not too sweet cream filling, and fresh fruits Mocha: amazing chocolatey goodness with whipped cream on top

Great place to stop in for coffee and a snack in Prague's Old Town! We were recently in Paris and craving some pastries, and au Gourmand did not disappoint! I enjoyed a delectable mille feuille and some lovely cookies. The vanilla macaroon was particularly delicious! You have to try one! The customer service was great, and the staff spoke English for us to make our exchange easier. We will definitely be back!

The strawberry cake was rally good. Not too sweet, just the right flavor. The service is as usual, the "Czech standard". They don't simile often!

Cakes very tasty, just as in France. Coffee fair enough. Place bit crowded but still very nice.

We made a stop and was wide eyed upon entering, as everything behind the glass counters looked delicious. They had everything from kolaches, to gorgeous desserts, open faced sandwiches, to salads and meat croquettes. We tried the Prague ham with egg, half cheese half Prague ham/pepperoni, and the caviar chlebicky. Each open face sandwich was delicious. Every item was carefully placed on each slice of bread. A layer of potato salad topped with a slice of cucumber and tomato, half boiled egg, and thin layer of Prague ham. The ham was light and thin, and not overly salted as you would find in a supermarket. So easy and delicious to eat, that you can't just have one. I tried the caviar oblene chlebicky which had two different types of caviar on it. It was nice, light, and not salty either. Good cheap eats. One star off as the ladies behind the counter were not very friendly.

I passed by Oh Deer Bakery on my way to sightsee, and every opportunity I had, I would catch myself thinking of when I would be able to stop by. I checked the place out the night before I was going to leave and was set on going before heading to the airport. I researched their small menu extensively and was so set on getting the Slanina, which was a peanut butter filled cronut with a maple syrup glaze and bacon on top. My heart broke when I saw that they didn't have this, so I ended up getting the mini versions (58czk each, instead of the 89czk if you got a regular size) of the Jahoda and the Nutella. The Jahoda was a white chocolate topping with a sweet and tart strawberry mascarpone filling. I really don't know what drew me to this one because I hardly ever opt for a fruit flavor when it comes to baked goods, but I am SO glad that fate made me get this one because it was so amazing! The Nutella one was just as amazing, but in a completely different way. Unlike the stiffer, tarter strawberry mascarpone filling, this one was filled with ooey gooey thick rich salted caramel. It was much sweeter than the other cronut, but the combination of nutella and caramel went so well. The cronut itself is also an A+ in my books. The outside was crisp and the inside was soft, fluffy, and beautifully layered. The cronut itself was also not super sweet (even though it was coated in sugar), which made it a perfect vessel for the delicious fillings. The worker was also so kind and patient with me while I took a decade to decide what I wanted, and was sweet to let me borrow a knife and stay in the store for the next 10 minutes to take photos. Needless to say, the next time I'm in Prague, I'll definitely coming back, crossing my fingers that they'll have the Slanina this time!
