I like Paul and not only because I have a discount there :-) I usually buy bagguetes (my favourite one is tuna) or something with chocolate and it's really good. And I definitely recommend tart. Anyway this Paul is not really different than any other. I feel the same in all of them and it's good because I feel good there. It's not really France but what the heck :-)

We had breakfast here since it was close to our hotel. It was pricey. The pastries were delicious as was the lattes. The ham and cheese sandwich was good but the bread was really hard. It was pretty crowded and was a small place. There was no outside seating at this location.

An excellent bakery whit sandwichs and soups also. Just go and take a break. But put this stop on your route. I eat the red beans soup and it was very very good. The thing with the cream and strawberry was heavenly.

Conveniently located right across our hotel at Winceslas square which was perfect because they are open as early as 7am. Pastries are delicious and fresh and their macarons are great! It helped that the staff was friendly and cheerful so early in the day

Delicious stop for a quick lunch: quiche for me, a ham & cheese on croissant for my spouse. Delicious, fast, clean, and inexpensive!

We were so tired and hungry when we came here a small sandwich for me and a quiche for my friend filled us to the brim!

We made a stop and was wide eyed upon entering, as everything behind the glass counters looked delicious. They had everything from kolaches, to gorgeous desserts, open faced sandwiches, to salads and meat croquettes. We tried the Prague ham with egg, half cheese half Prague ham/pepperoni, and the caviar chlebicky. Each open face sandwich was delicious. Every item was carefully placed on each slice of bread. A layer of potato salad topped with a slice of cucumber and tomato, half boiled egg, and thin layer of Prague ham. The ham was light and thin, and not overly salted as you would find in a supermarket. So easy and delicious to eat, that you can't just have one. I tried the caviar oblene chlebicky which had two different types of caviar on it. It was nice, light, and not salty either. Good cheap eats. One star off as the ladies behind the counter were not very friendly.

The egg salad cheblicky was tasty - a layer of potato salad topped with fresh grated and quartered hard-boiled eggs with bits of red pepper throughout.

I passed by Oh Deer Bakery on my way to sightsee, and every opportunity I had, I would catch myself thinking of when I would be able to stop by. I checked the place out the night before I was going to leave and was set on going before heading to the airport. I researched their small menu extensively and was so set on getting the Slanina, which was a peanut butter filled cronut with a maple syrup glaze and bacon on top. My heart broke when I saw that they didn't have this, so I ended up getting the mini versions (58czk each, instead of the 89czk if you got a regular size) of the Jahoda and the Nutella. The Jahoda was a white chocolate topping with a sweet and tart strawberry mascarpone filling. I really don't know what drew me to this one because I hardly ever opt for a fruit flavor when it comes to baked goods, but I am SO glad that fate made me get this one because it was so amazing! The Nutella one was just as amazing, but in a completely different way. Unlike the stiffer, tarter strawberry mascarpone filling, this one was filled with ooey gooey thick rich salted caramel. It was much sweeter than the other cronut, but the combination of nutella and caramel went so well. The cronut itself is also an A+ in my books. The outside was crisp and the inside was soft, fluffy, and beautifully layered. The cronut itself was also not super sweet (even though it was coated in sugar), which made it a perfect vessel for the delicious fillings. The worker was also so kind and patient with me while I took a decade to decide what I wanted, and was sweet to let me borrow a knife and stay in the store for the next 10 minutes to take photos. Needless to say, the next time I'm in Prague, I'll definitely coming back, crossing my fingers that they'll have the Slanina this time!
