At 1:00, the tech called and said he would be there in 5 minutes. I live in the Lightfoot area of Williamsburg VA. Tech (JB Stewart) showed up right on time. Super friendly and super knowledgeable. He had all the parts with him and about 30 - 45 minutes later the garage door was fixed. (the spring had broken and he replaced, plus some minor adjustments). I should point out that Apple was the 3rd company I called. The first 2 (ATW and another company whose name escapes me) never returned my calls. I can't comment on Apple pricing, because I wanted my garage fixed ASAP. I paid about $450 to have the springs replaced. I can't say if that's high, low, or average since the other guys never called me back to even give me a price. 5 stars for Apple and JB Stewart.

We had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. At no point during the Google quote process, email confirmation, or prior to the visit were we informed there would be a fee. At the end of the appointment, my husband was surprised to be charged $95 with no prior disclosure. If we had known there was a cost just to receive an estimate, we would have made a different decision. Transparency matters, and this felt misleading and unprofessional. To be fair, the technician was nice and knowledgeable, but that doesn't make up for the lack of upfront communication about pricing. I would not recommend using this company based on our experience. Be sure to ask very specific questions upfront about any potential charges so you don't end up in the same situation.

I then called him recently to replace my garage door. it is a long story but he was not honorable and or reliable. He was non responsive to my several texts and phone calls and he was supposed to have called me to install doors that week. I thought something might have happened so I had my mutual frined call him. He actually answered that call. He claims that there was a death in the family--but he never told me--I would have understood. In the meantime, I contacted Apple Door. They ended up costing me $600 less than Adam was going to charge and did it within a week--not the 6 weeks it was going to end up being with Grant. Grant has my $900 deposit. He told me he was going to drop it by my home the next day--nope..then he said he was going to take a photo of the check to me--nope. And then--he again stopped taking my calls. According to Grant the door he ordered didn't even come in---but now he has my $900 deposit. DO NOT USE THIS MAN!!! Apple even told me that the person who previously fixed my door (Grant) put the sensors in the wrong place --Apple fixed it -no charge. USE APPLE!!
