I offered to go back outside. Was told it was fine, listened to them discussing plans for the day while I shopped, started making a pile of items since they said it was ok. Everything was 25% off til noon, I had quite a few items to look at still so I kept shopping, I asked a team member how the pricing worked if everything was 50% off at noon or if you checked out before, he said "typically yes, it's all 50% off after noon" and I proceeded to shop. I needed to decide between items so I kept shopping and thinking, debating if an item would fit my style at home. Called friends to try and get them items as well since I drove over an hour to this sale. It was maybe 11:30 (I got there at 9:45). They had checked out multiple people at 50% off prior to noon while I was standing by my haul. I had to put a picture back ($25 and 25% off) because I changed my mind. The owner had got an attitude with me and told me they were ready to check me out because I was taking up too much space. I had 2 paintings, 3 small vases and two books. I told her I wasn't quite done yet becayse I still needed to decide on my china set I wanted to get. There was an item unmarked - I asked for the price and it was very clear she just made up the price ($75) none of the other zillion unsold sets of china were priced that high. I could sense the vibe that I was no longer welcome. I would understand this if I had done something extraordinarily wrong but all I had asked if your entire order is 50% off after noon or only part. I explained this is my second estate sale I've been to and it wasn't with their company and I wasn't familiar. At that point they could have checked me out for items I got in the beginning of the sale... but I was told I needed to checkout and that all my items would only be 25% off since I had been there a while. It was aboit 12:20 at that point. The house had a lot of items and I drove a long time so I needed to make it worth my while so I never intended to be there 15 minutes like locals. I was pretty upset when they told me this since half my items were added within the last 30 minutes of the sale. Multiple people were "camping" waiting til noon for the 50% off. I hadn't planned to pay 25% off for everything, nor was I ever approached for a cut off time for when items added would no longer consider you allowed to follow same rules as everyone else. I truly, haven't felt bullied since I was in high school, there was a man there that was the main issue, he worked for the estate sale and I could tell the entire vibe shifted when I had asked him about the 50% off earlier and he even made a comment "don't let people in early see" because I had mistakenly went in. It was rude and not professional. I turned to him and said "it wasn't intentional to do that, nobody has a uniform, and there isn't a line" truly was upset with how rude this man was even after explaining I had no ill intentions. I ended up putting some items back since I couldn't afford them at the 25% off as I had picked up a lot of them towards the end thinking I would get a good deal. What bothered me the most was that the items I was made to put back anyone else could buy for the price they wouldn't allow me to have. I truly felt they were unprofessional and rude and the man that was rude had to write my ticket up, he didn't include a discount on my ticket at all, I was charged 100% ticket price and when I brought it to the owners attention she gave me money back but kinda gave him a look like "why didn't you write the discount." I'm sure they organize things for the family fine, I cannot speak on that aspect, but from a personal experience I willnot go to their sales again as I actually cried going to my car. I felt bullied and it was such a humbling experience as an adult.

Both buildings are open and full of furniture, houseware, and china. There are also lots of books and artwork in the attic. Be careful going up, the stairs are tall and steep, and the ceiling beams are low. There is a smell (cat pee?) in the house in a couple places, so I'm glad the doors and windows were open. I found a nice glass cake plate and cotton table cloth, both for total of $15. Prices are reasonable, but ask if you see something without a price, definitely ask. Glad we stopped in.

When I walked into Truly Carpets I was a bit overwhelmed by all the carpet rolls, but when I told Dennis what I was looking for he told me about new stock coming in. It was the perfect color, texture & a great brand.... AND there was enough for both rooms. Yippee! I REALLY wish I'd had Truly Carpet install -ALL- my flooring. Unfortunately I mis-took 'Discount' as kind of shady, sub-par, or sub-contracted. Shame on me, I didn't bother to ask them if they subcontract their installs =( My loss. Hindsight, now wish I'd had them floor my entire home..... Truly installed a marvelous, high-end carpet remnants in my 2 bedrooms, but stupidly I went with Lowe's for the Pergo & the install. Ugh! Lowe's, what a HUGE nightmare!!!! I should have asked Truly to find me stock, because they had much better quality (12mm vs Lowe's 8mm Pergo stock). Truly installers arrived and did an amazing job. The biggest blessing is that the installers are part of the family, rather than subcontracted out as Lowe's does (nightmare!) The project manager was so knowledgeable, teaching me what I should have known BEFORE I'd gone shopping. My home flooring is gorgeous. When it's time to resurface my floors I'll be going back to Truly Carpet & Flooring.

I was pleasantly surprised by how affordable their quote was and how quickly they were able to schedule my pickup. The team arrived right on time during the designated window, and the two gentlemen who came were professional, courteous, and efficient. My rug was returned the following week by a different team member who was just as professional as the ones who picked it up. I couldn't have been happier with the results. My two main hopes were that the matted areas would be re-fluffed and that the rug would return to its original cream color. When I unrolled it, it looked fantastic--fresh, clean, and beautifully restored. I'm so glad they were able to breathe new life into it and extend its lifespan. My wife and I made the decision to upgrade our kitchen cabinetry and granite countertop a few years…read moreback. We chose Jackson Millwork based on input from one of my wife's patients. We met with Jackson's sales person/lead installer and agreed to have the work performed by them. Over the course of about a week, they completed the work. Upon completion we noticed that the joint line between two pieces of granite on our countertop was rather visible and did not have that fairly unnoticeable, tight, clean look that we typically have seen. Additionally, we noticed on one of our corner cabinets, when the lighting was on, that it showed "streak" like marks in the stain. We brought both of these issues to the installer's attention and with respect to the granite, he used some fine filler and polished it out slightly, which did look better, for about a week. After that time, it reverted back to its noticeable look. As for the cabinet, we were promised that he would contact the manufacturer and see about a new panel door to replace it....we never heard back from him. Recently, we noticed that the stain that is used on the cabinets had begun to wear off around the area of the handle on our garbage bin that slides in/out. I contacted the same installer again and he took the call initially. I even sent him an email with copies of our contract and pictures of the area. He acknowledged having received these and that he would look into it with the manufacturer. We have heard nothing. Since that time, I have called a couple of additional times and had to leave a message each time. We continue to have not had the courtesy of a return call. Unfortunately, my wife and I have lost all confidence in their product, their service, and their promises. The old adage applies..."Buyer beware".
