Atria Watford (styled as atria Watford) is the main shopping centre serving the town centre of Watford, up until early 2021 it was known as Intu Watford (It opened under the name Harlequin Shopping Centre in 1992), but due to the old owner going into administration, the centre has been renamed and rebranded.
It is the 19th largest shopping centre in the UK by retail size (December 2021) with an area of 107,000 meters squared.
It is a rather nice mall with a large inside area, some of the shops and restaurants on High Street are also classed as being a part of the shopping centre on the website.
Retailers here include Apple, JD Sports, Marks and Spencer, Next and Zara. Obviously, the two anchor tenants of Debenhams and John Lewis is a huge loss, as it meant the centres' two largest stores were no more.
For food and drink, you can find the likes of Starbucks, McDonald's, Cassio Lounge, Joe and the Juice and McDonald's, many of these are on High Street.
The mall staff/security were unhelpful and unable to help me find the places I was looking for. I found members of the public to be more helpful.
A rather nice shopping centre with a good selection of retailers and places to eat for a town the size of Watford. 4* read more
