Having had our mother in a care facility in Delaware County, PA for over 2 years we were shocked at the difference between the 2 facilities. CareOne far exceeds the PA facility in all aspects from professional staff to cleanliness to patient care. We lost our mother last April and only wish she had the opportunity to experience CareOne.

My husband and I moved my mom (Mercedes) into Brandywine in August of 2019 and everyone at Brandywine made mom feel so at home. She was very happy living at Brandywine and she built a lot of great relationships. But more importantly, several months after mom's move into the she was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Mom was placed in their hospice program which was exceptional. The nurses, aides and management were so attentive and cared for her in such a loving way. I will forever be grateful for the amazing care mom received at Brandywine from everyone. Linda Goldberg

I found community among the residents. I became sick and needed to isolate. The managers have never contacted me or asked if I needed anything. I have had to call several times to have a package brought up that I needed, received 6 hours later. Before you move in, the management is all over you. I believe the tone is set by management. I am disappointed. Before you sign on, consider what I have experienced. I will make the best of what is. Hopefully, this may help create change. Kindness and compassion goes a long way in providing a caring and supportive environment.

I am thankful for those who took such good care of me during my five week stay at Care One. I also watched how others who had problems more difficult than mine were treated. Has to be one of the most difficult jobs taking care of the very sick who are unable to communicate with their care provider. From what I witnessed the people at Care One were very professional and caring in the treatment of their patients. Of course there are those who are more attentive than others. But in my opinion they are very special people.

I was very weak. Mostly I got plenty of help when needed. Got meds and food on time. Got a little tired of kosher food after a week but it was ok. THE BIG PROBLEM WAS THE BED. IT WAS BEYOND UNCOMFORTABLE, IT CAUSED DAMAGE TO MY lower BACK THAT I STILL HAVEN'T RECOVERED FROM. Same beds as at Cambridge rehab. Again I doubt anyone checked these bed out before buying them for the entire facility. My back got so bad, I would just sit on it and cry all night. The nurses tried to help. Lidocaine patches, extra medication but the pain was as bad as my ankle. I couldn't wait to go home. Shame on hospital suppliers who sell beds that have a hard rod running horizontally across the bed right where you lumbar spine meets you sacroiliac. How do they expect us to recover.
