I was visiting as a follow up from a case of Walking Pneumonia. I informed her that though I had finished a course of antibiotics prescribed to me by an urgent care, I still wasn't feeling quite right and felt that perhaps the antibiotics might not have done the trick. She assured me, without much of an examination, that the pneumonia was gone and i needn't worry about a thing. I pressed for her to take another listen to my lungs; she said there was no need. I pressed for her to arrange for me a lung scan; she said there was no need. About 3 days later i was in an ambulance headed to Bryn Mawr Hospital as my lung was on the verge of collapse (the pneumonia hadn't, as i had suspected, healed at all and had, in fact spread to my entire lungs). I would have died that night had I delayed in calling the ambulance another few minutes. In retrospect, and after reading some of these reviews, I might have even had grounds for a lawsuit, though I'm not that type of person. Needless to say, I immediately had my family member get a new general practitioner and tell all friends and family to stay far, far away.

I spoke with Blue Cross and they informed me that no changes can be made without approval by the Doctors office and that they are responsible to collect correctly at time of service.
