Dr. Andrew Lipton and Nurse Practitioner Lela Gould have resolved issues that other health care…read moreproviders were unable to treat. I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of care I receive in this office. I know I am a difficult patient to treat but with patience, persistence and careful attention to my medical history, my concerns were addressed with thoughtful and thorough diagnostic procedures and alternative methods of care. I'm now fully functional which was not the case with prior providers. This provider will, when necessary, also consult and work with other providers. Likewise, other providers have also respected and worked with them in order to help me. The office staff is pleasant, courteous and easy to work with. Insurance coverage has never been a problem. Fees for services not covered by insurance are always clearly stated and discussed. Nurse Practitioner Lela Gould diligently provides ongoing care and treatment which has relieved many of my lifelong health issues. At every visit, she inquires about my general health and overall state of well-being, monitors recommended lifestyle and dietary changes and continues to monitor my body chemistry with appropriate blood tests. She also orders other tests and diagnostic procedures as necessary. Lela has a very caring manor, is extremely knowledgeable and happy to do background research to help me address my unique issues. She is a wonderful teacher explaining the why and what of the treatment plan and the reason for each procedure and/or recommendation. She is patient, kind and happy to answer any question. When you are with her, you know you have her undivided attention. I cannot speak highly enough regarding the care provided in this office.

We've been going to Dr. Lipton for about 20 years now and his evaluations and treatment are spot on. It's a pretty decent drive (distance & timewise) for us but it's worth the trip. His treatments vary per ailment or injury and he always follows up with us on results of scans, tests or blood work. He recommends preventative measures that we find very effective and neither my wife or I take any prescription medications and haven't for almost 20 years. He is very knowledgeable and continues to learn and evolve with the times and we would trust no other doctor as much as Dr. Lipton for advice and treatment.

I seriously don't know how I haven't written this review…read more First, some back story. In 2011 my dad was diagnosed with a rare, aggressive skin cancer. About 3,000 people worldwide are diagnosed with this every year. Anyhow we're fortunate to be in Philly where there is world class medicine, and he's a retired Union telephone worker which meant his health insurance was good. What does this have to do with Dr. Turner? Good question. Many of the doctors who took care of my dad were very specialized. When I asked if they'd look at a spot on my skin, they said no, because they don't see routine skin issues. Instead, his team sent me to Dr. Turner. I've been seeing her ever since. Her office is on the ground floor of a professional building near Bryn Mawr Hospital. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in their rear lot, which is also the building main entrance. Her office is clean and bright, her staff friendly and she's very easy to talk to, especially when I'm always secretly terrified I'll also get a rare cancer like dad (not hereditary). I would recommend her for medical dermatology in a heartbeat. I don't use any cosmetic skin care so I can't peak to that.

But I feel like the service I get is pretty nice quality. They know their stuff really well and take the time to educate you.
