When I had a hard time finding someone who could take my 8-month year old son for feeding therapy, Kelly got us on her schedule. She was a huge relief during a stressful time. Over the next several months, Kelly worked with him weekly on both OT exercises and helping him improve his muscle structure in his mouth to learn to chew his food rather than thrust it out of his mouth (which you can imagine is very stressful for a baby starting solids). She was a calming and reassuring presence each week. She taught me exercises and techniques to use at home between sessions and was always available if I had questions or concerns (I haven't experienced that amazing level of support anywhere else for either of my children when they've needed medical care). She would send me details on what to bring for each session which made me feel confident too. She was flexible with which location we held our sessions which helped this working mother be able to get her son to the appointments. Thanks to Kelly's expertise we made huge strides and helped get my son back on track with his eating and be able to add more and more foods into his meals. I am so grateful for our experience working with Kelly. Now that we've finished our therapy program all I can say is that I miss seeing and working with her each week. Highly recommend Kelly!

Update: The owner reached out to me. She graciously took my feedback and made a comment that she…read morewould be reminding their team about being our guiding light and not something we needed to recover from. This would have drastically changed our experience, so I'm increasing my rating in good faith that the experience of future clients will be better. This is probably a GREAT place to take your newborn up to around 6 months. I'm not sure I would recommend them over that age - or maybe we just didn't get the right provider for us. I am a super aware mom. This is my third child. She's had CST and chiropractic care since she was two weeks old. Her pediatrician was aware of her delayed crawling and babbling, but kept delaying therapy because she is a third child and also a very easy going baby who is usually very content to remain in place and watch everyone. There were concerns that her tie releases were not successful, so I took her back to the dentist to get them checked a second time. I say all of this because I want to be clear that I have been taking her to various professionals to support her pretty much weekly for an entire year now. I have done everything that was suggested to me to support my child, to the point of missing 4+ hours of work every week and paying several hundred dollars every month for all the different services and providers. I have done everything I know to do to support my child and am already feeling defeated by her progress - I bring this up because it is really the reason for my negative review. My daughter had a REALLY rough start. She had RSV as an infant and was hospitalized for a week (including a lumbar puncture), was born with an asymmetrical head shape and torticollis (hence the weekly CST and chiro care), tongue, lip, and buccal ties (all revised, and re-checked), had some concerning signs of potential seizures early on so endured a 3 day EEG around six months (all clear), and some ear concerns most recently (flushed both ears and given an all clear by an ENT). I'm not usually an anxious mom, but I was very excited for this appointment because I have actually been a little anxious about my daughter's developmental delays. My sons were on target with everything and I notice all the things, so it has been bothering me that my daughter was not doing the same. I was looking forward to a professional's guidance and support, and feeling like we had a path forward. I really just wanted some hope and some peace of mind and a plan. My daughter, much like my older kids at this age, is not a fan of strangers right now, especially after the doctor visits she's had in the last six months. Naturally, she cried the moment she realized this appointment was for her (she's 12 months old). When the PT began reviewing our info, one of her very first comments was "I'm very concerned that your pediatrician waited so long to send you because I'm not sure if she'll even let me touch her now." This was such a weird comment to me, and made me a bit frustrated. I cannot change the advice I was given, but now I feel like I've messed up (before we even started the appt) and I feel guilty for my child crying. I'm already feeling like a bad mom at this point of the appointment. For the remainder of our hour, the PT did ask great questions and make great observations, it was clear she was very knowledgable, but I heard the words "very concerned" over and over and over and over again. I can't emphasize that enough. Everything made her "very concerned". I don't think I ever heard "don't worry" or "it's going to be ok" or "we can work on this" or anything encouraging or positive. I left the appointment feeling more anxious, like I had done all the things wrong, my daughter had a lot of "very concerning" signs, and it was already too late for a lot of the suggestions (not enough tummy time, not getting stretches early enough, etc). I really don't want to ding this office, because scheduling was great, the office was nice, and the provider was knowledgable, but I guess the bedside manner just wasn't right for us.

Even after that issue was resolved, she continued to support us with helpful exercises to promote our baby's development and symmetry. We felt truly cared for and supported every step of the way.

This review is based solely off of my experience trying to schedule a speech pathology assessment…read morefor my daughter. In mid December I called (during the business day) and had to leave a voicemail. My call was returned the next day by a nice woman. She explained that she would verify my insurance benefits and then schedule an appointment for my daughter. She called back a couple of days later after verifying benefits and told me that my insurance covered nothing until my deductible and out of pocket had been met, so essentially I'll be private paying. I told her that was fine. We agreed to schedule an appointment after the first of the year instead of trying to squeeze it in the week of Christmas. She said she would call back after January 1 and schedule us. Since I hadn't heard back from them I called today, January 5 and tried to schedule an appointment. I spoke to a really rude man. He would not schedule an appointment. He insisted insurance had to be verified again because it's a new calendar year, even though my insurance has not changed and I told him I would just private pay. He also told me they were unable to verify BlueCross BlueShield because of technical issues and could not tell me when those issues might be resolved. In the meantime he told me appointments were filling up quickly and I'll be added back to a waitlist. I'm really disappointed! I was not told insurance had to be verified AGAIN if I did not schedule an appointment in December. I was not told I could not schedule an appointment without verifying insurance again. Why do they need to verify insurance if I said I will private pay? Why won't they go ahead and schedule an appointment while they verify benefits? This place is a nightmare to deal with. They therapy might be great, but it's not worth dealing with their office.
