Experience: I took my husband to the safari to do a Capybara encounter for his birthday, but it ended up being so much more. We were able to learn about and pet farm animals, zebras, monkeys, lemurs, camels, kangaroos, fennec foxes, otters, and so many other beautiful rescue animals. They were all well taken care of and in good spirits. The experience was $25 per person and $25 extra per person to sit and have an encounter in the Capybara's environment. They were so sweet and kept jumping on us to snack on veggies. I can't wait to go back, I want to do all the encounters they have! Everyone in Charlotte needs to visit the farm and safari, it is a great experience.

I'm not sure that they even like children. When my older children were little, I used to bring them and that staff would interact with the kids and parents. Most of this staff just sits on side, ignoring children and adults. There is one lady, Miss Wendy that all of my kids love, but she's not there very much. They had an event this weekend and I am glad that we went in the afternoon. My friend got turned away in the morning only an hour after they opened. She said that staff very rudely told her that she should have gotten there earlier. Her children were heartbroken. They did have some people, mainly teenagers with volunteer name tags who were very nice. My little adored the older gentleman who played with him. They had the upstairs set up really cute with a Winnie-the-Pooh exhibit. But unfortunately, they said that it would only be there for that day. They had friendly teens in that space playing with the kids. Admission is not worth it, but their membership is a good value because it includes other museums.

As mentioned in some other reviews, there are holes where there is a risk that your ball will fall into flowing water but that did not present a problem for our group even though multiple balls fell victim. Overall, we had a great time. The crowd was very bearable and did not interrupt the flow of our game. On an advisory note, the golf course is pretty much open air so dress appropriately if it's a hot/sunny day. I look forward to going back for additional rounds of golf even though there is only one course. I'd also like to try my hand at the axe throwing. After our first visit, I would comfortably recommend.

There is a big parking lot- but be careful, the driveway to get in is really narrow and only one car fits through at a time. There is no admission fee and it is free to walk around. You also don't need reservations. There is cornhole, picnic tables to sit at, a gift shop with local good slike honey and apples, a coffee truck, a lemonade truck and popcorn for sale. There are pumpkins everywhere of different shapes and sizes available for purchase in addition to gourds and mums. We bought a mum and it was $15. There are plenty of photo opportunities and a garden to walk around in. There is also a lot of space for kids to run around in. For an additional fee, there is a wagon ride you can take that will take you to see farm animals but we didn't do this. All in all, not as many activities in my opinion as some of the other pumpkin patches around town, but I did like how close it is to town compared to some of the other pumpkin patch options and it was super cute! It was my first time playing laser tag. You can play with people in your group but also have the option to allow other people in your session. Think you can have up to 20 people playing at a time. You can play in teams or individually. The laser gun keeps track of your hits and ranks everyone at the end of the game. The game lasts 10 mins. At first I thought, 10 minutes?! was way too short for the amount of money we paid for one session. But when you're running around on the course, 10 minutes is sufficient. It was fun and sweaty lol.
