I was first attracted by "now open" sign from looking at the turning lane. I was gonna grab lunch. Ah, that's new. Let me check it out. Before I enter, I thought smoke shop was a dark and smelly place. Once I opened the door, my old imagery was all wiped out. Smokey Doke is modern and clean. Employee was really helpful and patient. I actually met the owner, Richie. He educated me the difference between CBD and Delta 8 aka THC. All these acronyms blew me off. These things are in the forms of gummy or tincture. Very easy to handle and consume. You know me, I'm adventurous. I tried both. And, yeah. Delta 8 is a little overwhelming for me. I need to be on vacation and out of touch first. (Means no Yelp or social media when I use it.) CBD or Hemp occupies only a small section of the store. They're building a cigar room at the adjacent corner. The rest of store is filled with smoke accessories and stuff I have not seen but known to other regular users. It's fantastic to learn this is not the only store in Houston. I'm so glad that we have a resource like this in my neighborhood.

Never in my days of working there have I ever experienced employees or customers using products at the store without purchasing or even using it and put it back on shelf. I came in to purchase a canabzy wax and since I was a store manager for months I know what it's supposed to look like. Sandy,sugar like but when purchased this wax and opened it as walking out to my truck the wax had been tampered with. I've never seen this before when I went back inside I was able to do a refund since It was bought within 1 minute of me noticing the product and when I got exchanged for another one same brand it still didn't look right it was clear like mellow monkey wax or even honey and NOT full to the top it was basically empty like it had been melting away or swapped with something else. Very disappointed in this location especially from someone who has worked for this company. Pls hire better people for the stores to check inventory or stocking on shelves because I definitely felt ripped off when I bought something for almost $30 just for it to not be full and look off . Save your time coming here and instead go to the other ones in the area like dairy ashford or memorial location. They rarely seem to disappoint with products on shelf.

He tried the steroid shots and that didn't really help any. I wanted him to try something unconventional to these doctors he had been seeing that never even bothered to even feel his neck for a simple evaluation before ordering more pills and scans. I sent him here and he called me after his appointment so grateful. He said it was well worth the drive through an hour of traffic to go here. Had he not went he wouldn't have found such relief. The doctor felt his neck and found two of his cervical disks misaligned and popped them back into place and basically told him he's fixed and never to come back. I've never heard of a doctor saying we don't want to see you again! My husband has already recommended this place to his family and I can say he's back to being my husband again and no longer moody and grumpy. We're going back for a follow up just to make sure his problem is resolved and I have to go to see this place for myself.
