I would enthusiastically recommend Ricky to anyone and will be back when it's time for another tattoo. He was really cool, funny, professional and made us feel comfortable. I am beyond happy with his design and my new tattoo! The business itself was clean and organized. 5 stars for sure! read more

Wish I could give no stars! I don't know how this place has ANY positive reviews. I walked in with cash in hand and waited an hour. No one welcomed or spoke to me in all that time. When I finally spoke up and asked how much longer the wait would be, the two guys in the front were extremely rude and condescending. I walked out because it was clear that they didn't want my business. I won't be going back for future work. Don't go! It's not worth it. read more

I don't ever leave reviews on here, but definitely go to this tattoo shop if you are looking for one in the austin/pflugerville area. I had been looking for almost a year for an artist to do a tattoo for me that means a lot to me, and i finally found one and i could not be more amazed with the tattoo, and the artist. His name is Eddie, and all i did was show him a picture of the tattoo and kind told him more of what i wanted it to look like, and he drew it up BETTER than i could have imagined. 100% go here if you're thinking about it. read more

Atomic Tattoo - Tattoo Near Me - Pflugerville, Texas

I got a new tattoo here today, small and simple. I'm happy with it and really anyone could have done it successfully so I'm very thankful for my ink. However, I'm a huge customer service person, #1, this is a very public industry obviously. #2. I'm not your average punky, grungy, covered in tattoos and listening to death metal, Austinite type of woman. Walking into the Drs office can create a little anxiety and it's really the hospitality that puts patients at ease. It should really be the same with the tattoo business, especially to unfamiliar guests. Here are the facts of my experience -My assigned artist didn't look me in the eye -He did not shake my hand -He did not introduce himself -He did not ask my name -I didn't find out his name until AFTER my tattoo was done and I had to ask the front desk for a card with his name on it so I would know who "that guy" was -He never cracked a smile once, I tried to lighten him up a little bit and make him laugh (No, not while the needle was on my hand) but it was very uncomfortable to get no response. And the worst of the worst... My first impression without exaggeration was that he smelled like alcohol... Yes... he did. I would have never even considered getting a tattoo anymore complicated than what I got today, which was a cross... two lines... from a person that had been drinking. But I thought, "Okay, he can manage". And he did. Thank God. The main guy behind the counter was amazing, his personality was super nice and welcoming. I really wish I would have had that instead. I was not even provided a piece of paper with aftercare instructions which was a little irritating considering I obviously don't do this all the time. Thanks YouTube and WikiHow.com! Jeez... read more

I went here to get a sleeve done, I had the money in my pocket and already knew what I wanted. I went in and there were three or four people working, one person getting a tat, and I sat on my ass for 45 minutes WAITING for someone to even talk to me. So I left, went to Platinum Ink near the Domain, and Chris did an awesome job, and they were interested in my $800 ($700 for the custom sleeve, $100 for a tip..) read more

I came in here for a nose piercing. The guy was a little socially awkward, yes. I didn't expect the piercing to be $55, but I guess it's not 1999 anymore. Maybe I'm asking too much, but being in the service industry myself, and being someone who follows up with every client I assist, it seems like he should have called me a week later to say, "Hey, how do you like your piercing? Do you have any questions?" Yeah.... that would be asking too much I guess. I would recommend them :) read more

Emily the piercer at this location is AMAZING. Friday she gave me my first, three piercings (nose and lobes) she was very down to earth and answered all my questioned, as well as calmed my nerves about being pierced for the first time. My nose ended up needing a long bar and she changed it for me no problem. Definitely will be going to see her in the future. read more

CBest tats in town! Sean at Pflugerville store was great! Worked with me on design and he works pretty fast which saves you$$ in the end. He has done a whole sleeve for my son that looks great! Also did a 1/2 sleeve on my daughter in law's lower leg that is very artistic. I was struggling to Coe up with a design to represent what I wante. He took his time and went thru multiple changes until he had exactly what I wanted. Pricing fair and very talented guy's in both stores. Highly recommend both shops Austin & Pflugerville! I can't figure out how to put a pic on here or I would. read more

Mike Pain is AMAZING! He has done quite a few tats on me because I keep going back to him. I wanted to avoid commercial chain type tattoo shops but I had the sudden urge for some new ink and the place I like was backed way up with work. I stopped in to look around and ended up sitting down and spending an hour or two drawing the work out... The price was VERY reasonable for the detail, size, and quality of work. I will be going back to finish me sleeve. read more

I really like this place - it's clean, someone always greets you or says hello, and after a few visits you're like family. Timmy, the piercer and Mike B., the tattoo artist are my guys. I got my Monroe done by Timmy there and he is awesome - I knew where I wanted my piercing to be but also needed some advice about placement, which he helped me on when I asked. The placement is great and I've gotten so many compliments on it. I have also had an incident where it fell out, from me toying with it, and I lost the ball to the ring. I ran right up there, and there Timmy was again, more than helpful and reassuring that my piercing would not close - got me right back on track with a new ring. After which, I decided to get my tongue ring re-pierced - after it had been out for almost 6 years. I asked Timmy about it. He said he could work with it after having a little look. I was really apprehensive because it is my tongue, after all... but he made sure I stayed calm, and breathed slowly. It hurt like heck but I'm pretty sure the reason why I didn't pass out was from his coaching. He's great and is always helpful. Of course I had to go back and get some tattoos. Mike B. did my first tattoo last year - I drew up an idea of what it was that I wanted to have, and he accepted it. I didn't want to be insulting by just giving a picture of what I had in mind, and he did not make me feel this way at all. He made sure to ask questions to ensure that he could understand what I had in mind. My tattoo is an ode to my two guardian angels - and he made sure it was sweet and detailed. The shading is perfect, and he even added stars to it to intensify how awesome it turned out. A few months later I was back, and he did a large back/shoulder wrap of flowers for me. I get compliments on it ALL the time when I go out - even if I am in one business and one person compliments it, all of the other employees compliment it as well. He can do anything from animals to roses to zombies to monsters, etc. read more

9:30 on a Friday night, and the place was empty except for one customer in a chair when the husband and I went in to quote a small tattoo(4"x3"), all black, not much detail. Garrett quoted $150. We declined. We have both been tattooed in NY and Toronto, and this was by far the most outrageous price I've heard. I'm glad everyone that's reviewed appears to be happy with their work, because their prices are ridiculous. read more

The piercer is incredibly condescending and rude, and their customer service is essentially null. I went there because they are so close to my home, but when I asked for an orbital lobe piercing the piercer said that he doesn't pierce lobes... really? So a 16 year old at Claire's in the mall can pierce lobes, the easiest of them all, and this guy can't do it? I made the right choice by driving downtown and going to True Blue on Red River and 7th... I've gotten various tattoos and piercings there and they have been nothing but talented and professional. read more

A bit steep in price for a 5 letter word tattoo. $120. Got my tattoo last year and it already looks super faded like I've had it for 15 years. I do recommend them for piercing. I have gotten 26 piercings in all from them over the years. I always request the apprentice piercer (way cheaper and I'm perfect to practice on) I got a surface piercing on my wrist and I thought it was going to hurt like hell, but I barely felt a thing. Same thing for my lip piercing. Flawless. If the apprentices are that good, I can only imagine how good the pros are. They always get me in and out really quick. read more

I was referred here by a friend and came in to get my sons names tattooed. I honestly didn't have too good of an idea of what I wanted (I'm sure that was annoying to the artist) I just wanted the names. Craig was the first available so he did my tattoo, he seemed kind of unfriendly at first but when we got started he turned out to be really cool. He came up with a great idea and drew it out, it was perfect and I couldn't have come up with a better idea myself. The tattoo came out perfect, no scabbing, every line is perfect and he had great attention to detail and a really light touch which was great as most of my other tattoos got heavily scarred and look terrible. My tattoo was so good my brother and his girlfriend (who were visiting me) went the next day to get tattoos done by Craig before heading back home to Los Angeles and their tattoos also came out really good. I'm not sure what went so terrible with the other lady who complained about Craig as mine came out perfect!! read more

So this was my 5th and 6th tattoo and I went into Atomic, was greeted and seated, looked through some portfolios and decided on an artist name Skyler. Best decision I've ever made, hes my tattoo soulmate now! haha corny but REAL TALK he is so laid back and not bigger than life when it comes to his EGO! He knows he does great work and he lets the results speak for him.. I had to small scripts done and price was standard shop minimum for what I had done I believe.. I was good with it and I was out of there in a hour.. headed back this sunday to do the biggest piece I'll have on me!!! and its on my rib cage!! yikes, but I know Sky will take great care of me.. For piercings, this place is a grab-bag. I've got twelve piercings, and Issac did two of them. I was exceedingly happy with those experiences, Issac did an excellent job of discussing the piercing itself, making sure I was satisfied with the placement before he put needle to skin, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to see Issac again. Last time I stopped by, Issac wasn't there. Sean handled the piercing, and I've literally had teenage girls with a piercing gun at Claire's be more communicative and customer-focused than Sean was. He didn't consult with me over the placement of the piercing -- he didn't say more than three words to me altogether, from the time he took my ID until the time he asked for a tip. After he finished the piercing, I looked in the mirror and realized it wasn't at an angle I wanted. When I called back to ask about it, he said he'd put the piercing at the "textbook" angle, and my previously existing piercing next to it was incorrectly done. The fact that he didn't inform me of this discrepancy during the initial piercing, or ask my preferences before he poked a hole in my ear, was disappointing and inconvenient. I had to go back to get the piercing re-done the next day. In terms of Client Care 101, Sean failed. read more

GO ANYWHERE BUT HERE. i could press charges on this company if i wanted to. i went here to get my belly button pierced in may and it was then august and my piercing still had no healed and became very infected. i finally went in to see what was going on and instantly someone told me it was pierced way too shallow. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? he told me i had to take it out and immediately asked who pierced it. i explain a girl with red dreads and long story short, he said she was in training and shouldn't have even been piercing during that time. i was also over charged. after all of this scary information was delivered to me, i consulted the manager who freaking had the audacity to tell me, "haha suing us? good luck. the piercing was just a little too shallow. it happens." like wtf!!! do not come here. ever. i now have a giant ugly scar above my belly button. i feel over generous even giving this place one star. awful. read more

I wish I had read reviews before wasting my time. I called several days ahead, trying to get an appointment for a large concept piece, but was told walking in would be best. Well, I've got two kids and a more-than-full time job, so walking in just to chat about a tat is a waste of time. We carry miniature computers with us for a reason. I viewed all the artist's work and felt Craig's traditional flow matched exactly what I wanted. Too bad he's a lazy jerk. I was told that contacting him over dm was best, which I did, and after explaining what I wanted he never responded. Which was weird considering it's not a complex idea... My SO was planning to meet another artist the next day so I went in with him to find out what the deal was. After talking to Craig, him all but making fun of what I wanted, he said he'd draw something up for me and get with me in a couple days. This wouldn't have been my first tattoo, and I've dealt with plenty of artists. There are more jerks than nice guys so I wrote off his sour attitude as a character flaw, and even apologized the next day if I came off as a grump. That was over a week ago. Completely blew me off. This was a huge piece of work I wanted done, hundreds of dollars, up to a grand. And he just couldn't be bothered. Cocky SOB To think he's so good he can turn down such a huge job, but hes not even the best in podunk Pflugerville. And based on the reviews of this shop, accross multiple platforms, no one with any sense, who wants legit work done, should visit this place. I can imagine all the flash they'll be doing for walk ins will be super killer. read more

So this was my experience with this shop and artist. So I decided to get a tattoo for my 40th birthday. So I did my best research. After talking to someone who knew a good artist I ended up calling atomic. The guy on the phone was nice and answered all my questions which made me feel better. So I went by there and looked at some portfolios. I found some pictures that I liked and decided to go for it. So I came back and brought a picture of a dragonfly that I wanted. While he was tattooing a different artist came in the room and started talking about how he liked working in a place where he could drink and get high. This concerned me but it was too late. My artist was Ricky. He was nice. But has only been tattooing for 7 years. I was not sure if I liked it. So I left. After showing my tattoo to another artist, he informed me that the tattoo was bad quality and said that he would fix it for me. I am posting a picture of the tattoo that was done by Ricky. will post a pic of my new tattoo later. read more

I have been looking for a clean and professional establishment to have my piercing done as well as someone who could think outside the box with what I wanted. I was taken back when I proposed the idea I had with open arms and excitement. "Lets do it!" she said and got straight to business. I am usually nervous with getting stuck being I have had several piercings in the past and they have never been the most pleasant experience. Leydi, my piercer was such a perfectionist and made me feel so comfortable with the whole experience. I couldn't of been happier and I will continue to go back to this location because of her. I can't wait for the next crazy idea I come up with since I know I have finally found someone who will take the leap and make my ideas real. I continue to have people ask where and who I got it done by...I think I should be on the payroll for the people I potentially sent to them! haha jk ;) Thanks Leydi! read more

The first time I came in here the piercer pierced my nose to match the other side of my nose but it came out crooked. I never came back to say anything bc I just didn't want to deal w it (I didn't notice that it was crooked until ppl started telling me). I left it alone. I came back today, months later, to just buy some jewelry & the ppl here were shit when I went in looking for a septum ring. I go into the store and NO one asks if I need help. I'm standing there looking at the piercings w no one behind the counter, which I get bc ppl are tattooing, supposedly, but some bald or shaved head bald dude comes out, sees me, then went back into his room. He didn't ask me if I'd been helped or athg. When I approached him to ask him for help he told me he didn't know that I'd not been helped. Excuse me? I was like, so you don't even ask me, you just assumed? & the asshole argued w me! I'm sry but if you see someone standing in the middle of the room w no one around, it is good business practice to ask them if they have been helped??!? After the dude argued with me like I was in the wrong he sarcastically told me to have a nice day so I literally told him to fuck off. I'm never fucking coming back to this shit hole again. The Atomic by my job is way better w way nicer ppl. I wld give this place no stars at all if this were an option. read more
