It's nice to have a comic bookstore that's only 5 minutes away from me in Cerritos. I've been here 3 times so far and do intend to keep coming here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's always one guy that's there whenever I go (don't know his name) but he's a really cool guy and I've had some cool conversations with him the past few times. The main reason why I go there is to pick up their Funko POP! that they stock. For me it's a good selection that always has some goodies every time I decide to stop by. Other than that, there are a lot of comics and collectible figurines from what I've seen. Overall, very nice people and a really cool shop. Today I also signed up for the membership which is only $20 for the year, but you save at least 10% off the items whenever you get something. Great spot to buy new and used comics. Owner (forgot his name) was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great selection and plenty of comics to browse through. They have expanded the store so they are still fixing up the back area, but I liked it. Got a great deal on the surprise boxes. Definitely doubled my money. Decent back issue bin but don't expect buried treasure or grails. I wish wall books were kept flat in a toploader or something. Was interested in some books but seeing as they were bent inside the showcase cabinet but thin bags/boards I decided against it. read more

Boy did I have it wrong with my local comic shop in Culver City. After finding this place I'll never go to Pulp Fiction. Eric is great and gave me a fair deal on comics I brought in and I got a solid first appearance Apocalypse for a good price. From old to new comics this place has it all. I'm glad my brother lives near here so it gives me two reasons to go see him lol.. also I love how this comic shop has raffles for cool old school CGC certified comics. I've completed a few collection out of their back issues bins and have found some value key issue is superb condition. This store has a BIG selection of comic books and keeps everything up to date. I especially like to check out the $1 bins for some good deals. I was impressed with the customer service. I'm a Toy Collector and this place maybe new but I was able to find a very desirable Marvel Legends Action Figure here! As a new store don't expect to find as wide a selection of Action Figures or Collectibles as more established places! But I've been here 3 times already and I always see something new! What makes this place are the people who work here! I've met Eric the Owner and Kyle who mans the counter! They made me feel welcome and I've had nice conversations with both. This store will get more Figs they've assured me and this will definitely be a place I come to when I'm on a Toy Hunt! The price I paid for the Marvel Legend was fair considering it is currently one of the most desired new figs out in the market! I was not scalped! Kyle is the best guy! I just got into comics about 2 months ago and it was all thanks to Kyle's help. He helped me learn what to look for and recommend some great stuff!! Getting into comics is not easy!! You have to do some research and when I say research I don't mean just type into Google "great comics to read" or "where to start reading with Batman or the Avengers or Superman". You definitely need someone to point you in the right direction and ask people. The comic book community is very friendly and very helpful! This place is great. Eric the owner is very nice and extremely helpful. I took my son here and was glad to find the place is very kid friendly. Eric ended up giving my son a lesson on how to play a new card game. We've already been back twice now and are sure to be coming back regularly. I really enjoyed being at this comic shop. Eric, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming. I can see that he loves the business and has a strong passion for it. He's very charismatic. I'm from the LA area and whenever I get a chance to be in Cerritos, this is the only place I wanna be. They have such a great collection of back issues and current issues. It's hard to find a comic shop that has back issues from the 60s, 70s, 80s and the 90s. It's a great place to go hunting for some issues for your collection and/or find some keys. Eric's prices on his books are reasonable and fair. He knows the conditions of what he is selling. I went in today and saw he got a bigger space. I'm very happy that he has a bigger place and has more room to grow for the upcoming future. I can't wait to see what he does with his business. Avoid this place like the plague. However judging by how the owner does business, that won't be a problem for long. I was appalled by the behavior of Eric when I last visited. Will never know what came over him, but he displayed the most mental mood swing I had ever witnessed from a small business owner period. I tried being nice in the face of unabridged disdain and seeming unease coming from him. A meek, nervous fidgety person with no business in comics. Marvel and DC only and absolutely no imagination in the least. Try establishing a relationship with a shop you can have faith in. I assure you even if you think you've found a decent shop in this place, its only a matter of time before you witness a major fit from the owner that will prevent you from ever wanting to return. I stubbornly kept giving this place chances, but am through. I'd have to be a sucker to ever set foot in the sad, anxious little man's sinking ship of a hellhole again. The End read more
