This staff at Atlas absolutely blew our minds in terms of great service. We asked them to make 40 sausage rolls and spinach and feta rolls (which all of the parents praised) for our son's birthday party. Tel was very easy to work with and cheerful despite some changes at the last minute. Then the day of the party arrived - the only rainy day in weeks of perfect weather, and we were scrambling to find a place where our group of 10 kids and their parents could eat. With only a few hours notice, Jono (the owner) set aside most of the seating in the cafe for us to use for an hour - and wasn't put off that we had a lot of our own food and drinks with us. They served up coffee drinks to the parents very quickly, and were helpful and cheerful the whole time.
They really saved our day, and set an example of generous service and community spirit that is seldom matched in Hobart. We're not in the CBD all that often, but Atlas will definitely be our regular spot as much as possible.
They can lead in building a vibrant cafe culture in Hobart. That would be such a welcomed change. read more
