This was the worst service of any kind I've ever experienced. The staff there couldn't have been more rude and unprofessional to someone. I've been coming here for 15 years. Never again, and I don't recommend this place to anyone else.

There were a good amount of back issues I was interested in, but so many weren't bagged and boarded and were definitely beginning to show some shelf wear. The bigger issues, though, is that nothing is clearly organized by series--or even publisher. There had clearly been some attempts to sort things out, but without any major success. It was frustrating to say the least. The owner was nice and happy to talk to you, and his interactions with other customers of varying sorts were very friendly as well. Sadly, there was a very offering radio station playing the whole time I was there detailing 9/11 conspiracies and whether or not Hunter Biden should be in jail. The owner said it was really just 'background noise,' but it sort of started to weird me out a bit. Regardless, i found a few books I wanted and decided to head out. At checkout, I paid with cash and wasn't charged any additional sales tax--which I always appreciate.

However, less than two minutes after walking in, the man says "we're closed now, you have to go." It was very uncomfortable and a bit sad for my daughter. I set the books down and we left. Granted, the man may have had plans. Maybe he was pressed for time? Or, he was just not very nice. are better ways to handle this situation. What is it about business owners that think they are doing customers a favor by being in business. If you're a comic book fan in Chicago's Northwest suburbs, I recommend you find another shop.

Their customer service is excellent and we've never had any issues with returns and they readily match internet prices if you show them their internet ads. It's a clean, bright, and spacious store. It's physically connected to the northwest end of the Golf Mill mall, but there really is no mall traffic anymore as the mall has been shuttered for years at that end of the mall. Their parking lot is adequate and spacious but like most Targets, watch out for all the sometimes crazy pedestrian traffic by their entrance.

This big Walmart is a busy and popular one. The store is good to have around for its convenient location factor, but we much prefer the Walmart on Rand Road in Mount Prospect as it is cleaner, has a better grade of clientele, and is relatively less congested. The community and clientele in the immediate area here is more in the typical Walmart customer range, meaning more frugal middle class, and that's one big factor that makes it a particularly busy location. Another is it's in a pretty large strip mall with several restaurants and other businesses. We'll come in if there is a particularly good deal on something, or to pick up an online order, or if we just need a little item and we might be passing by at a relatively quiet time. Today, the little items were cake pop sticks and dipping flavors. A-OK on this particular store.

But I did have the tip today and wanted to give it to him but if this is how your delivery drivers delivery items in the driveway where anyone can pick them up because there is no security in our driveway and anyone could have picked my items up. The staff were very helpful on the phone so I drove over to check it out. We're heading to Walt Disney World so I wanted to have some great quality shoes to get me through long days. Nancy was really helpful on the phone and so was the guy who originally picked up the phone, and I know Nordstrom usually carries my size even in sneakers so it was worth stopping in. We were off to a bit of a rocky start when I got in. There were a lot of customers and several staff, but nobody said hello or please go here for help or anything. I was annoyed when I noticed a couple staff standing around at the register not doing anything even though they were literally more than a dozen customers in the shoe department, and as I was considering whether to leave or go ask for help an employee asked if I was being helped and said she'd get someone for me. Elise (perhaps Alise?) was incredibly helpful. She picked out a bunch of shoes to try on; I think she brought me about 10 different pair. I'd never tried Hoka before (I've especially been a fan of New Balance and Asics) but these were amazing shoes. They were so cushioned, it felt like I was bouncing on a cloud and could barely feel the steps I was taking. Sold! I really appreciated the help provided and that Elise suggested a couple other options when I mentioned I liked a pair of the Hokas but they felt just a bit snug, and then we found the right pair. I didn't realize they had a cafe here, but there's one just as you enter the doors from the east side of the building. They have a good selection of baby stuff as well, including strollers, which are harder to see in person now that so many people shop online. Nordstrom is my favorite higher end (to me, at least) store and I was glad to have stopped here for my most recent purchase.
