Workers are there to interact, guide, and happily answer any questions , and to just conversate iregardless of any transaction lest their job is worthless.

Lots of stuff for freaks and geeks. You can get gifts for other or yourself such as comics, toys, and more. A lot of variety in the items. It's not just all about comic books and graphic novels. There's also more niche stuff to collect such as if you like manga and stuff like that. Has a collection of both new and old. There's a lot more recent stuff though. Good layout. The back of the store has the manga stuff. Great place to find someone knowledgeable about comics. It has lots to look through and while it's not as cheap as big stores it has things you won't find in these other places. They could have more back issues of comics but that's the only thing.

Where i take issue, is the yelling across the store at me, and embarrassing me in front if other patrons, when at the root if it, I did nothing wrong. This was the worst service of any kind I've ever experienced. The staff there couldn't have been more rude and unprofessional to someone. I've been coming here for 15 years. Never again, and I don't recommend this place to anyone else.

It's really a gamers paradise and you can find here rare comic books, vintage games and toys that will delight both children and adults. The store is neatly organized, and very well lit - qualities conducive to a good treasure hunt.

This is the kind of outfit that I would have wept tears of joy to find growing up in my small town. I'm so glad that these hobbies are more mainstream now and accessible to people through places like this. Friendly people work here who seem to know their stuff. What a fun job that would be. It's a lot bigger than it looks from the outside, and very nice inside. It seems that it relocated from Wilmette about a year ago, and still has that new-store feel.

The bigger issues, though, is that nothing is clearly organized by series--or even publisher. There had clearly been some attempts to sort things out, but without any major success. It was frustrating to say the least. The owner was nice and happy to talk to you, and his interactions with other customers of varying sorts were very friendly as well. Sadly, there was a very offering radio station playing the whole time I was there detailing 9/11 conspiracies and whether or not Hunter Biden should be in jail. The owner said it was really just 'background noise,' but it sort of started to weird me out a bit. Regardless, i found a few books I wanted and decided to head out. At checkout, I paid with cash and wasn't charged any additional sales tax--which I always appreciate.

My mother and I developed a high threshold for awkward content consumed together thanks to some CD releases by the Bob & Tom Show in the late 1990s. [You and your first-degree female can become like us. Our curriculum included Gimme an "F", Planet Bob & Tom, and Fun House, which remains my favorite.] I didn't buy anything, but my friend bought a few stickers.

You can call and reserve it for a couple hours if you know what movie you want but you can't get there right away. They have a prepaid card deal where you get 11 movies for $25. It's a great bargain. I also like that they have in stock a pretty good selection of foreign and independent movies. It seems pretty small but if you are looking for an older or a somewhat unknown movie, you can just ask and they can check it in their system and there's usually a good chance they have it. They do keep older movie in a different location site, but if you call and ask (and they have it), they can have it ready to be picked up the next day. The owner is very nice. It's a great local shop that deserves our support and business!
