I absolutely loved this place even though my husband and I didn't get a ocean view we were still able to get a floor that had a deck to go sit outside & look @ the ocean. Beautiful location , very private and secluded which we loved a lot. Prior to us coming I emailed asking if they do anything for recently honeymoons they said yes , when we arrived they was two glasses , a bottle of champagne and some chocolates . We thought that was very sweet & loved that very much. We aslo loved the fact that they had breakfast, a social hour of chesse & crackers along with wine & cookies . Unfortunately we were was always on the go so we missed out on having breakfast & missed out on those delicious cookies. Definitely come here & enjoy the views sit back & relax.

A very enjoyable stay. Having stayed at the sister property in RB (Avenue Inn) for several years, we decided to give the beachfront Atlantic View a try. Overall we were pleased with our stay and the location on the beach can't be beat! Several times we walked to RB, which was only a mile or so away. The price for a beach front room over the long weekend was far below anything available in RB. We booked and stayed in a first floor ocean view room. The room was appropriate sized with two queen beds, TV, mini-fridge and table. The room was clean even though it could use some updating. The bath products are good quality and replenished regularly. The bath towels are a bit thin, but that is a minor detail and if you want plush towels stay at a $$ hotel. The beds were comfortable! We were able to hear noise from other rooms, but this was minor and the quiet hours were strictly enforced. The highlight of the first floor room was opening the sliding glass door, stepping out on the shared deck, and the beach/sand dune was right there! On the deck each room had two tall adirondack chairs. Yes, you can't see the waves breaking, but you can see the ocean and beach! We loved sitting on the deck, drinking coffee, and watching the sun rise every morning! (see photos) Access to the beach was only about 10 steps way with complimentary beach chairs provided by the hotel. Other amenities were the complimentary breakfast consisting of mini-quiches, french toast bites, potatoes, cereal, and fresh fruit. 24 hour coffee service, wine and cheese at 5:00PM and chocolate chip cookies at 8:00PM. Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Atlantic View for the location and price it is a solid value for a hotel in this category range.

The location. The waterfront room with balcony. Alisha at the front desk was so warm and inviting. We were a late checkin and she offered to wait for us. Her customer service was exceptional. Parking was good. The chocolate chip cookies were such a pleasant touch. We are already plan our next girls getaway to come back and stay here.

Highly recommend!! The staff is phenomenal!! The lady that checked us in even offered to take our picture and she was so funny! They came in the mornings to ask us if we needed towels or washcloths. The view is incredible and this hotel is right on the beach. Only takes you maybe 5 steps to get there. This hotel provides free parking on their lot. Offers happy hour with cookies and they also offer a breakfast that you can choose the time to pick it up. They offer a pool in the summer time. They have an ice machine, laundry for customers, and a snack machine. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to be back when it is warmer!

On a solo birthday escapade to find the ocean I stumbled upon this hidden gem. The Atlantic View was my last stop during a 7 day hiatus from my noisy hometown New York City. I spent 3 short nights in a room that surrendered a panoramic view of the Atlantic ocean from the balcony 24/7. I am really missing this place right now. The staff is excellent, kind, attentive, and working smart to keep guests safe and well accommodated through this pandemic. We were able to pick up individual breakfast bags & wine at night, on the house. The cookies are so good. Jason the manager is friendly and knowledgable. I cannot wait to go back. It's too bad they are closed all winter, else I'd be there in December, too! This place is a real gem, literally a secret paradise. You can't get any closer to the ocean than this! There are also really good restaurants nearby selling the most amazing lump crab cake - Woody's is #1 and right around the corner.

The staff here are friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is spacious and clean. They have a big sitting area with tables and chairs and tvs. This is where people eat meals. If you are a guest you get a free breakfast. The breakfast is nothing special by the way. There were eggs, sausages, cereal, bagels and oatmeal and a few other things. I participated in the free breakfast for my first day there and I was not impressed at all. It was the same when I stayed at another Hyatt place in another state. The eggs were pretty bad and the plates, bowls and silverware I first picked up were all dirty. I had to go through 2-3 to finally not get a dirty one. There is a pool and a gym in this hotel which is great. I did not go swimming while staying here but saw the pool area. I did not get to see the gym though. The room as you can see from pics are spacious and have a little living room like area with a couch. And a little wall that kind of separates it. As we live in Ocean City, NJ and frequent the Hyatt Dewey quite often to visit family and friends, it truly feels like home to us when we are there. We will be there again on March 12 and will continue to frequent throughout the summer months, as we basically travel there throughout the year. The hotel has such a welcoming and warm feeling, and you never feel overwhelmed like some larger hotels can make you feel. It has a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. Every time we return, they are always smiling and genuinely happy to welcome us back. It immediately sets the tone for a great stay and makes us feel truly valued as guests. Their warmth, professionalism, and positive energy truly make a difference. They are always helpful, attentive, and eager to assist with anything we may need. They consistently help make sure we are comfortable, often helping us with our favorite rooms and making every visit seamless and enjoyable. It is clear they take great pride in what they do and in making guests feel welcomed and appreciated. The entire front desk team, both men and women, creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. And as we all know, guests can sometimes be a little challenging, but they always handle everything with patience, grace, and a smile, ready to help in any way they can. You would never even know if they were having a difficult day themselves, because their kindness and professionalism never waver. We also experienced something that truly showed the level of care and professionalism of the staff. A piece of jewelry was misplaced that had been given to my dear friend by her father before he passed away, so it holds tremendous sentimental value. The manager personally took the time to help search for it, moving furniture and looking everywhere possible to try to help us find it. To us, that is truly going above and beyond the call of duty, and it meant so much that he cared enough to help in that way. Thank you, Lindsay and Mia, and the entire front desk team, for your exceptional hospitality, professionalism, and the kindness that greets us each time we arrive. You truly make every stay feel special and appreciated. Dawn Ranieri and John Ziemba

There are so many seating options in the lobby that look as though they came out of a beach resort magazine. The hotel posts a daily board of local restaurant specials, and the hotel itself offers plenty of great extras, like wine and cheese every day from 5:00-6:00, and cookies and milk every evening at 8:00 in the lobby. Complimentary lobby coffee is available 24/7, so there are no coffee makers in the rooms. There's also a big game room with dozens of board games. They have an indoor pool and sauna, and an outdoor hot tub. Our hotel room was quite large, with a huge flatscreen TV, a work desk, a king-sized bed, a sofa, and a coffee table. The in-room Wi-Fi and the satellite TV worked great. The bath was on the smaller size, but it looked brand new. The shower had plenty of hot water and the only nitpick was maybe the pressure from the rainfall style shower head could have been a teense more forceful. We had a nice private balcony overlooking the street and their street level firepit and seating area. The overall location is great, just a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach and within hundreds of stores and restaurants. The daily breakfast was stellar -a bounty of pre-made omelets, Sausages, Baked pears, Cereals, Oatmeal (with mix- ins like nuts, chocolate, granola, seeds, coconut), Pastries, whole and cut fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, hash browns, and ham slices. Our off-season rate was a little over $100 a night, quite a good deal for the hotel's luxury and services. Guest service was excellent at every encounter we had.

The room is very big and we enjoyed the small balcony just as a feature. On a warm day you want to just enjoy snacks and a breeze I can imagine it is wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace. The bathroom lights were a bit complicated but the tub was enormous and luxurious for a soak! The coffee nook with fridge was perfectly outfitted and great for storage. The room lights were a bit flickery but not a major issue. Paying for the higher adults only floor was WORTH IT! They keep the snacks area ready with basic chips and cookies and the cooler with sodas and water and refresh it all the time. The sitting room with its own fireplace is super cozy and you can play a card game or build legos being away from any hecticness. Plus afternoon cookies, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were not to be missed! Those were great to take as a dessert after dinner or relaxing in the room. I bet in the warmer months the outside terrace is great to enjoy for reading. The bar service was good, whether you wanted drinks or meals things came out decently in good time and well done. I think the prices are very reasonable. The area has so many great options but if you just want to stay in you'll be fine! The breakfast experience was fine- the omelet stations were good but really did take a long time. Maybe just a lack of experience. Good selection of everything and while the bakery station had a variety of scones and muffins, they weren't always fresh tasting and the fruit wasn't much a variety. They will sometimes fill up and you'll have to sit in the cold conference room rather than the cozy vestibule. So go early if you want all the best options and won't be rushed. I can imagine this place is always busy but in the off season months I absolutely recommend this to any couple or single who wants to get away- shops are still open, restaurants still active, and the beach is still refreshing!

Our king bed room was a bit tight, but it was clean and cozy with plenty of hot water for the shower and no neighbors on either side of us. Fair to say, we made most of the noise. The room was made up every morning of our three night stay which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of food to go around, and even an omelet station Friday through Sunday. Nice touch. The small bar and afternoon tea was just enough to be an alternative to having to go out multiple times to pick up a cocktail or evening snack. We enjoyed the 7:30 - 10:30 morning meal and their coffee station sat on the bar for our convenience. The only slip came when the ordered omelet didn't arrive within 20+ minutes and I had to cancel the order because we needed to head out. I had a full plate anyway. I can't speak to what Bellmoor is like in season, but we found it exactly what we needed to relax, hang out in the evening and use as a base of operations as we explored more of the Rehoboth-Lewes vicinity in winter. 5 mellow well deserved stars!
