It is about 2 blocks from the boardwalk, in the middle of everything, so the location could not have been better. There is also free parking on site, which made life so much easier. The staff was super helpful and super friendly. They let us park and use the pool before our room was ready. The hotel is older and a bit dated in some ways, such as having only 1 elevator for the entire building, however, the room was recently and thoughtfully redone and was also huge. There is also a rooftop deck, which is a great spot for drinks, corn hole, or people watching. We will definitely be back.

We didn't try the pool & sundeck, but it looked inviting. We plan to return!

There are so many seating options in the lobby that look as though they came out of a beach resort magazine. The hotel posts a daily board of local restaurant specials, and the hotel itself offers plenty of great extras, like wine and cheese every day from 5:00-6:00, and cookies and milk every evening at 8:00 in the lobby. Complimentary lobby coffee is available 24/7, so there are no coffee makers in the rooms. There's also a big game room with dozens of board games. They have an indoor pool and sauna, and an outdoor hot tub. Our hotel room was quite large, with a huge flatscreen TV, a work desk, a king-sized bed, a sofa, and a coffee table. The in-room Wi-Fi and the satellite TV worked great. The bath was on the smaller size, but it looked brand new. The shower had plenty of hot water and the only nitpick was maybe the pressure from the rainfall style shower head could have been a teense more forceful. We had a nice private balcony overlooking the street and their street level firepit and seating area. The overall location is great, just a very short walk to the boardwalk and beach and within hundreds of stores and restaurants. The daily breakfast was stellar -a bounty of pre-made omelets, Sausages, Baked pears, Cereals, Oatmeal (with mix- ins like nuts, chocolate, granola, seeds, coconut), Pastries, whole and cut fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese, hash browns, and ham slices. Our off-season rate was a little over $100 a night, quite a good deal for the hotel's luxury and services. Guest service was excellent at every encounter we had.

The hot tub isn't big but it's fine for a few people and great to have right next to the spa. The parking is free on the off season and once you're in, you can easily walk a few blocks to the beach or all around town. I hear they have a shuttle but we never needed them. The room is very big and we enjoyed the small balcony just as a feature. On a warm day you want to just enjoy snacks and a breeze I can imagine it is wonderful. We enjoyed the fireplace. The bathroom lights were a bit complicated but the tub was enormous and luxurious for a soak! The coffee nook with fridge was perfectly outfitted and great for storage. The room lights were a bit flickery but not a major issue. Paying for the higher adults only floor was WORTH IT! They keep the snacks area ready with basic chips and cookies and the cooler with sodas and water and refresh it all the time. The sitting room with its own fireplace is super cozy and you can play a card game or build legos being away from any hecticness. Plus afternoon cookies, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate were not to be missed! Those were great to take as a dessert after dinner or relaxing in the room. I bet in the warmer months the outside terrace is great to enjoy for reading. The bar service was good, whether you wanted drinks or meals things came out decently in good time and well done. I think the prices are very reasonable. The area has so many great options but if you just want to stay in you'll be fine! The breakfast experience was fine- the omelet stations were good but really did take a long time. Maybe just a lack of experience. Good selection of everything and while the bakery station had a variety of scones and muffins, they weren't always fresh tasting and the fruit wasn't much a variety. They will sometimes fill up and you'll have to sit in the cold conference room rather than the cozy vestibule. So go early if you want all the best options and won't be rushed. I can imagine this place is always busy but in the off season months I absolutely recommend this to any couple or single who wants to get away- shops are still open, restaurants still active, and the beach is still refreshing!

Shuttle to get guests to the beach or other locations Cute lounges and patio Meh: Rooms are pretty underwhelming in design & decor (furniture looked pretty worn, dark carpet--shudder--and Motel 6 vibes in the bathroom). No towel bars in the bathroom. Poor water pressure. Walls are thin, so we could hear people in the next room and in the hall. Tiny pool that seemed murky (?) and had sand in it. Hot-tub looked like a good place to get electrocuted (it was taped together in places, missing covers on parts. Maybe it's perfectly safe, but gave me pause. There is only one elevator, so I'd advise taking the stairs, as it can be a wait. There is a $15.00 charge to park per day (which is cheap, I think), but I missed that when booking, so was a little surprised on checking out. Maybe remind guests of the fee on check-in? Also, while we had our own chairs, so we didn't need it, the Bellmoor charges to rent beach chairs. I can see taking a deposit, but charging just seems cheap. On the flip side, I have yet to find a really nice hotel in Rehobeth, so this might be as good as it gets.

Although short, it was detailed. The staff did a great job of going over the places worth going. I like that they made a brochure that goes over all of the staff member's favorite places. It is nice and thoughtful. -The place itself is clean and maintained. As you go up to your room, it is kept clean constantly. The floor you are in has an ice machine (very strong and powerful, a bit loud) and a laundry room. The good thing is that you will often find the laundry room available. You do have to have quarters to use it but the front desk staff can exchange dollar bills for you. -The rooms themselves are neat. To get lightening in, you have to slide in an extra room key into a slot and this is what activates the lights. The bathrooms are stocked and clean. The spacing of the room is ample for a group of 4. They do have a microwave, a nice addition to the standard hotel room. The balcony is small but it provides a great height and activity if you are facing pool side. - Their fitness area is a bit small but it has all you need to do a quick workout. I like that they have bathrooms next to the area should you need to freshen up at any given point during your workout. I would like to show out to the general manager Josh. After the first night, we had a group a couple of rooms away that were noisy throughout the whole night. Telling Josh this, he promptly moved us to another room, another floor to allow us to have a nicer stay. He was kind, attentive, not only listened to our concern but provided a solution that worked out best for everyone.

This hotel experience was, without a doubt, one of the worst I've ever had…read more We arrived at 3:00 PM and were told that our room was not ready. My family ran a few errands and returned around 5:00 PM to check in. When we arrived, we had to wait approximately 20 minutes to check in because two of the three employees were assisting another guest. Once we finally checked in and received our room keys, we went to our room. The moment we opened the door, we were hit with an awful smell. The room reeked of mildew and smelled as though it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. I immediately contacted the front office, expecting that, given the condition of the room, we would be offered another room. Instead, the manager told us that the hotel was completely sold out and that, because I had booked through Booking.com, there was not much they could do other than have the room cleaned. My husband and I discussed our options. We had already been traveling for five hours, were exhausted, and our child was tired as well. Rather than continue searching for another hotel, we decided to let them clean the room and hoped that would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it did not. When we returned, the room appeared to be clean, but the real problem became apparent when we went to bed. The sheets smelled strongly of mildew and sweat. The condition and odor of the bedding made it seem as though the sheets had not been properly cleaned or replaced after the previous guest. It was absolutely disgusting and unacceptable. It is current 2:14 a.m and I am up due to not being able to sleep comfortable in a bed I paid for due to the smell of the sheets. A hotel room should be clean, fresh, and sanitary especially when you are paying for a hotel that is advertised as a 4.4-star property. This experience fell far below any reasonable standard. I will never stay at this hotel again, and I plan to escalate this matter beyond the manager because of how poorly our concerns were handled. Please believe the reviews before booking here. I wish I had. We normally don't stay at 4.4-star hotels, but I decided to give this one a chance. Unfortunately, that was a decision I deeply regret. As of August 15, 2026, the General Manager, Josh Derry, called me today to discuss my review.During our call I did not expect to be challenged about my personal experience or to be told the hotel has "never been a one star" while he went back and forth about prior reviews. That line of discussion felt dismissive of what I experienced during my stay. Guests are entitled to personal opinions about their stays, and it's important that staff and leadership avoid arguing with them about those opinions. My intent in speaking with him was to describe what I encountered so he could hear a customer perspective and consider potential improvements.

It's across the canal from downtown Lewes and a few blocks away from the Lewes public beach. I was there before Memorial Day weekend. Their busy season had not started, yet. Staff was scarce and typically only available during the day. There wasn't anyone staffing the front desk in the evenings or throughout the night. What was surprising is that the hotel had me pay for my entire stay upfront, and not just registering me with my AMEX card. I was a bit surprised that they required that. I don't think I have had a hotel / motel require full payment upfront. I don't know if this is their usual practice. Room price was competitive for a touristy beach location. For amenities, the have an outdoor pool and lounging deck located on the second floor. Otherwise, fairly basic hotel. They did not offer a continental breakfast, but did have fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. There weren't coffee makers in the rooms. Hotel has an inviting beach decor, but is dated. In fact, they were replacing carpets in the lobby when I was there. I was a bit surprised when I came down in the morning and found lobby area closed off. The installers did not appreciate that I walked through, but they also didn't leave me much choice. Staff were friendly when I crossed paths with them. Housekeeping only entered and cleaned my room once through the week. I was okay with that, as I didn't need much for the week. I did have to ask for additional soap and shampoo and they graciously provided it. My room was comfortable and clean. The wall air conditioning unit was quite noisy. I wouldn't be opposed to staying here, if back in the area in the future. Just a basic hotel, located near most of what Lewes offers and a reasonable price.

Things to consider: As some have mentioned, the rooms have window unit heat/ac and it is loud but we didn't find it disruptive, but if you're sensitive to things like that, you won't be happy. I don't think there are any king, just-one-bed rooms; we would have loved that. I don't think there is daily maid service so if that's your thing, something to consider. None of these things mattered to us and we loved it. Would happily choose it again. Andre, the manager, is super nice and welcoming.
