They did a very good job -- followed all the proper steps and used all the best materials for the job. They worked Saturday, in high heat. These guys are tough and good with math and cutting stone. They do this all by hand at a very reasonable cost. This job was $3-4k. The final cost depended on the type of block I chose from the Illinois Brick Company catalogue. The same patio made out of poured concrete would have been $3k, but that job disappeared when the cement layer never returned to do the job. Carlos was available in one day! They finished this job in about 2 days. They even arranged the furniture before they left!

Even worse is that they aren't capable of receiving modern payments like direct-deposit and they are slow at processing checks they receive. So I sent a check the day I received the invoice, told them that it was on the way (twice), and today, 9 days after the invoice was delivered to me, I got a notice that they are sending me to collections. We've been customers for 15+ years and I've been OK but not thrilled with the service, but they are cancelled now.
