Had friend helping when didn't find the key rode together back to find the key. After accessing unit and upon leaving couldn't start the Jeep. When noticed one of the latches were off! Then battery cable was disconnected! Staff were nasty! Accused not having a rental leaving the vehicle there for no longer then 5 minutes! Huge drama ordeal. Very nasty staff to touch private property and disconnect battery over a missing a key being misplaced to get into the unit. Had an active account at a time pulled over to answer my phone or something didn't even park in a spot get approached by nasty attitude! Private property. Do you have a lease here? What's the number? What's the name on the account? All the while that answered still wasn't satisfied wanted to proceed to take a picture of my vehicle and tag threatened to call the cops bc didn't want to answer anymore questions wasn't plan on being long was on the phone handling a matter for a few seconds couldn't even do without being harassed. Pulled in here within 60 seconds my window was approached aggressively a wave or an acknowledgment wasn't going to suffice this lady. Answered her rolled down window said hi there just be a moment thank you. Literally live close by, meeting public place for a moment to give item to someone off market place. Didn't sit there for 5-10 minutes or 30 minutes. Literally was within 60 seconds of backing in and placing car in park my vehicle was approached. No answer or reply is satisfactory to nasty manager living there rent free to rent out lame units. Began to immediately make accusations that I was being defensive that ticked me off, answering your bs questions turns into I'll call to get you trespassed and call the police. Call them do what makes you happy. Just be a few seconds and leaving thanks. Literally leaving for work ect not changing meet up place not harming anyone or anything by being 60 seconds. Had to tell guy pulled in to get baby item let's hurry this lady flipping out over nothing literally just parked before you pulled up couldn't ask for better timing! As she already Walks off to get her cell phone briskly comes back takes pictures of my tag and re approach me as saying thank you and leaving to guy she's within my personal space very aggressive staff!!! Never rent from here! Go to any other location but this one!!!! Don't turn AC on during the summer! Rates change! Harass you relentlessly if in any other circumstance or car other then one rented or signed paperwork in!!!!

We had a unit here for a month, but then moved over to a different place on Dunn Avenue. The location on Dunn isn't as nice as this one, but the rates here at Atlantic Self Storage were significantly higher, which is the reason we changed locations. Would have given a higher rating if it weren't for their high prices. =(

Prices here are pretty decent as far as storage facilities go. They are cheaper than Atlantic…read moreStorage. They have outside units and inside units which are climate controlled. We have one of the climate controlled units. Signing up and getting a unit was easy as pie. Friendly customer service. To enter the facility, you'll need a code to go through the gate. I like that extra security. You'll also need a code to enter the building where the climate controlled units are, and of course, you'll need a lock for your unit. Once you've got your units and have the codes, you can access your unit 24/7/365. Hopefully, we won't have to have a unit more than a couple more months. Since we moved, we're still going through things and just needed some extra storage so our house isn't cluttered. If you're looking for storage in this area of town, I highly recommend Dunn Ave Storage.

Unethical owners who would just as well do anything rather than properly maintain the facilities, which is usually the case in less affluent minority communities like this. The wealthy take advantage of the poor, have no issue collecting our $200 in rent that's supposed to include a climate controlled storage unit on the third floor with functioning elevator and carts to use as needed. Unfortunately, we had to terminate our contract and remove our many thousands of dollars worth of books that were getting destroyed from the lack of climate control and high humidity inside. We will be notifying the owners about the reason for the cancellation of our contract and also will be following a lawsuit for their violation of said terms of our contract which at minimum did state that they would provide a well-maintained climate controlled storage in it. Do yourself a favor. Whatever you're planning I'm putting in storage, just sell it and you won't have to worry about the monthly expense. Besides, have you ever read any of the statistics about how many people forfeit their belongings in storage units? Here are some tips for the owners who are likely both stupid and incompetent. If you say you're going to provide a climate controlled storage unit, then provide it. That kind of deception is a violation of the contract. Perhaps you'll learn in court. It doesn't do any good to provide carts and trollies if wheels are missing and tires are flat. When I asked about the lack of maintenance on carts, basically they just blamed customers. You know, the customers who are paying $100 of dollars every single month for these facilities to be maintained at even a basic level? Here's one pro tip, if you know that wheels are missing and tires are flat, don't leave them out for your customers to use because you're poorly maintained equipment could result in an injury and you may just be liable for that too. So, just in case you all try to pretend like you weren't put on notice, this is your very public notice that if you're going to promise a climate controlled storage unit you should deliver that. If you're going to promise equipment such as trolleys and carts, you should maintain them or if someone's injured you may be held liable. I hope you get what's coming to you because I sure didn't enjoy logging thousands of pounds of books from the 3rd floor without having a functioning trolly. I should probably be thankful that there's a working elevator. Never again you scammers and that's for the entire brand because who wants to support a brand with owners who are shit?
